20/01/2026: Small space, but for meat lovers, it's heaven. You walk in and, with all those hams and cheeses on display, it's instantly love at first sight. The staff is welcoming and knows how to put you at ease. The cuisine amazed me with the quality and deliciousness of the dishes. Simple, yet very refined. The wine selection is excellent. Not cheap, but the quality is very high. Very satisfied.

13/01/2026: 🙀🥺😭 I celebrated my graduation party here. The evenings overall aren't bad: the atmosphere is unique and is definitely the venue's strong point. Unfortunately, however, the event organization was truly terrible. Communication via WhatsApp was difficult and unclear, and during the party, it was impossible to speak to the staff due to the loud music. The organization definitely needs rethinking. The food was disappointing: the pizza wasn't good, and the only decent thing was the coccoli appetizer. The biggest disappointment was the cake: I chose it based on their catalog and the photos they sent me, but I received a different cake than the one I had agreed upon. I reported the error in the questionnaire I received by email (because they value customer feedback to help them improve), but no one contacted me to apologize or clarify the error. The cake wasn't to our liking and hardly anyone ate it, so I wasted €60, not to mention ruining the party dessert I was expecting. I didn't cause any controversy during the party because I wanted to have fun and enjoy the moment, but I was very disappointed. For important events like a graduation party, where only one person pays and organizes everything in advance, I wouldn't recommend this place. My answer: Your brochure clearly shows an image of a raw cheesecake: you don't have to be a pastry chef to understand that. That's precisely why, seeing that photo, I expected a raw cheesecake. What was delivered to me was different from what I ordered, so the error is objectively yours. Even more serious was the response: no apology, no offer of a refund or solution, but an attempt to shift the blame onto me by saying that "I expected something else." Faced with such an obvious mistake and a completely indifferent attitude toward the customer, I've decided to downgrade my review. The photo speaks for itself, as does your behavior.

12/01/2026: Probably the worst dinner of my life, and not because of the food, which was also good. I came for dinner with my friends and found myself in a nightclub. The DJ set in the room was dubious, the sound system was louder than any nightclub I've ever been to. I couldn't even talk to the person next to me. I screamed all night, trying to get out of there and barely knowing how my friends were doing. I tried asking the staff to turn it down, but they told me there's always music but they'd try to ask them to turn it down, but that's about it. The music got even louder throughout the evening. It was a horrible experience, a tortured dinner. It felt like a tourist resort, trashy Italian music and neomelodic music. Yet I went on a Sunday night, I can't even imagine a Saturday. I left with bleeding ears. (P.S. there's only one toilet in the bathroom, and there are no signs or signs differentiating between the sexes.)

13/07/2026: Eight dishes and a bottle of wine for €60 per person is never a bad deal. When you factor in the creativity, the hard work and the creativity in the food - it becomes a bargain. 慢工出细活 - slow work yields fine products. Sous vide chicken tempura, an unbelievable burnt onion and liquorice linguine (🤯), insanely tender veal tongue. Some really incredible dishes. Food made with love, where you can feel the passion Gabriele has for proper cooking. This place makes a welcome break from traditional trattoria or osteria cooking. This is the kind of spot I’d visit first day every time I come back to Florence and will recommend to every person who visits.

15/05/2026: A charming place with welcoming staff, you feel right at home, starting with Renzo, the owner, and his wife, Barbara, who runs the kitchen. We had previously stayed here with a friend and were happy to return, enjoying two relaxing days. I have to share a story that happened, but I'd love to share it with everyone. We arrived by motorbike in terrible weather, rain, etc., but even though the restaurant was closed, they offered us lunch, which is truly remarkable and never taken for granted. Thank you so much. 17/05/2026: Rosso Rubino is a must-try if you’re visiting Montepulciano. The garlic pici was so amazing we were eating spoonfuls of the sauce when it was done. Also, the tiramisu was the best we’ve ever had. They only do one seating every night so make sure to reserve in advance. You will need to call or email them to make a reservation. Grazie mille!!

20/05/2026: There's honestly no better place than Osteria del Teatro. Last Friday, we celebrated with 40 friends in a private room, and it was truly one of the most special lunches we’ve ever had. From the moment we arrived, the whole team welcomed us with so much warmth, kindness and care. Every single person working there made us feel incredibly looked after, and all of our guests kept commenting on how beautiful the space is and how delicious the food was. We even had a baby with us and the team kindly brought her toys to play with and made sure she felt entertained all time. That level of care meant so much to us and says everything about the people behind this place. A huge thank you to everyone at Osteria del Teatro for giving us such a memorable night. We had the best time ever, and this has become such a special yearly tradition for us that we honestly wouldn’t want to celebrate anywhere else ❤️

17/05/2026: Everything was excellent, the prices were spectacular for the taste. I had the stuffed gnocchi, the Chianina beef appetizer, and the Pavlova...I'll definitely be back. The bathroom with the dolls is a little scary 😅

03/06/2026: Pasta is the greatest thing here. Carbonara here is just perfect. Atmosphere is really nice there, they even got their own wine which is really great and the service is really helpful, kind and quick!

02/06/2026: One of the best experiences I had in Florence. The place is very typically Italian and avoids the current concepts of being Instagrammable. With authentic cuisine, bread to savor the dish until the very end. The dessert was also delicious, we will definitely be back! Everything was perfect.

18/05/2026: The pistachio ice cream (our comparison flavor) definitely deserves 6/5 stars – only the one in Verona had a few more pieces 😜. We also tried mango/passion fruit, strawberry, and biscotti, and all were delicious. Highly recommended, get your world-class ice cream!

Katia was very nice and very funny. the food is incredible, like eating at an Italian's home. we recommend it and it's definitely one of the reasons why we want to go back to Tavarnelle. what we can recommend is veal with mushrooms and truffles, carbonara, bisteka Fiorentina, tortellini, everythink. 04/04/2026: I don’t know where to begin with Scara & Beo… Possibly one of the most memorable dinner I ever had. You enter the restaurant from a tiny, narrow street. Once inside the space expand suddenly, over a large room which carries on over the rooftops and the valley through two beautiful windows. This analogy carries on with the exquisite food, waiting to burst in your palate. Everything is thought. Every little detail. The decor, the attentive service, the food. Even the music, always tasteful and just at the perfect volume (an art form itself). Paola, behind the counter, is the real maestro, quietly orchestrating and finishing each dish with focus and passion. If you are vegetarian or vegan, this little, extraordinary place is a confirmation that being kind to animals doesn’t mean sacrificing the pleasure of eating. Can you make poetry with food? Certainly yes. Here it happens.

18/05/2026: Here I had an experience I no longer hoped to find outside of Japan. The staff is all Japanese, and the service is professional. The menu doesn't just feature the usual fare, but Japanese specialties with exquisite, authentic flavors, not adapted to Western tastes. Cuore was the only Japanese restaurant where I was reluctant to leave, wanting to prolong the experience.
