29/08/2024: We stopped in here while visiting Florence and we did not regret it. It is right next door to a viral sandwich shop from tiktok so follow the crowds. We asked the staff member to choose one for us as we weren’t sure what to pick - he made us up two completely different sandwiches and we could not pick what one we liked better. He also checked with us beforehand if we would like the fillings he had chosen and gave us little tasters to make sure! We had a glass of wine and sat inside - it was a highlight of our visit to Florence. Would highly recommend

08/08/2024: You can taste the love for the food! Delicious👌🏻, friendly service, atmospheric. A birthday boy is serenaded by a chef. Oil from our own olive orchard. Wine from the immediate area. Top restaurant and definitely recommended if you stay in Tuscany!

25/08/2024: ¡Restaurante 100% recomendable! Principalmente destacar a los camareros, que hacen muy bien su trabajo, amables y atentos en todo momento. Posteriormente la comida, los entrantes espectaculares y los segundos buenísimos. Y por último, los postres que estaban geniales también. Da gusto ver personas tan dedicadas con su trabajo, ¡lo recomendamos! :)

25/08/2024: Alla mia collezione di cene al Borgo San Jacopo mancava il menù estivo, così appena rientrata dalle vacanze ho organizzato con una mia cara amica. Abbiamo gustato pienamente i piatti che Claudio e la brigata hanno pensato per la stagione estiva, iniziando con l’anguria nell’amuse bouche, poi la melanzana come antipasto, per proseguire con gli spaghetti e caviale e ostriche , lo scorfano e finale con il piccione. Un girandola di sapori accompagnata dal perfetto abbinamento dei vini proposti da Salvatore, sommelier attento alle novità, capace di introdurre un vino del Libano e poi farti apprezzare le grandi maison italiane. Impeccabile anche l’accoglienza, Nicola, Domiziana ci hanno coccolate per tutta la sera, la loro è stata un’attenzione misurata che insieme alla presenza professionale di Claudio e Lorenzo in sala ha reso la serata speciale.

24/08/2024: Ieri sera siamo stati a cena a borgo San Jacopo …. Sempre una conferma! L’accoglienza è straordinaria…. In particolare grazie a Nicola, restaurant manager, con la complicità deliziosa di Domiziana. Il cibo è stato eccellente con particolare elogio alla melanzana ed il piccione del menu estivo ( da provare) e tutto accompagnato da vini eccezionale scelti con grande cura da Salvatore biscotti che non delude mai ….. una certezza tutto

16/08/2024: We spent a pleasant evening in this small restaurant in the center of Capoliveri, with a very interesting fish-only menu and an owner who alone manages everything in an exceptional way! We had a great meal and I absolutely recommend it!

21/08/2024: Excellent inn with a breathtaking view and excellent food with attention to the smallest details with good quality products and attentive and kind service. It's one of my favorite places, I'll be happy to return next time.

25/08/2024: We chose this place on the recommendation of local people to taste the Florentine, with very high expectations which, unfortunately, were only partially satisfied. We had dinner in the small room at the entrance, made up of a few tables and unfortunately not air conditioned (at least the evening we were there), so we suffered a bit from the heat. The service was excellent: the waitress was very attentive and courteous, really compliments! As anticipated, we decided to try the Florentine steak, a cut weighing approximately 1.5 kg. Although the cooking was PERFECT, the meat was very nervous and at times difficult to eat... We probably weren't lucky with the piece. The flavor was still great, a real shame. The starter, side dish and desserts, however, were really good! Very honest prices. I would like to recommend the place.

23/08/2024: Trovato per caso, questo locale è stato davvero una scoperta: cibo e vino eccellente e il personale gentile e molto disponibile. Super super consigliato!

28/08/2024: Small but mighty gelato spot near the Accademia, with a neat selection of gelatos to choose from. It regularly crops up on different food blogs, and did not disappoint. The strawberry and grapefruit were both delicious.

10/08/2024: We were holidaying in Viareggio and this was an incredible highlight of our holiday. Superb food served with warmth, kindness and care from a lovely and lively team. Beautiful attention to detail and focus on delivering exceptional food and an experience second to none. We're still talking about the pudding which consisted of grapefruit gel, pink peppercorn ice cream, rose cream and a corn biscuit. Just awesome. Cannot recommend it highly enough. Incidentally, easy parking and easy to find!

05/08/2024: I went with my family of 13 and we could not of had a better experience. Marco was very helpful in explaining the menu and what his recommendations were. The Bistecca Florentina is amazing. He shows you the exact size and weight before he cooks it! I cannot recommend Marco and Cinque Di Vino enough!

04/08/2024: With delicious, locally typical dishes, this friendly, relaxed upscale but affordable restaurant with a quiet outdoor area can captivate not only gourmet enthusiasts. You really can sense the owner's passion when he explains the menu to newbies and recommends suitable tasty wines.

14/07/2024: This great wine bar is hidden away on a small side street! The wine recommendations are great and everyone is very friendly. If you're lucky, you'll get a seat outside. We were here today for the second time and hopefully not the last. We'll come back next time we visit Pienza.

25/07/2024: Even leaving out the part where I found a long gray hair in my starter, fully cooked along with my egg, I guess things happen in the kitchen. Regardless, I felt so insulted by this restaurant. I‘ve tried it with my partner - 4 course tasting menu, and we get told that we would get two different menus. That’s how I was served fish, barley, and white wines, while he gets meat, pasta, liver and red wines. This goes on until dessert when I got a refreshing lavender mint dish while he gets the eggnog. I’m sorry but to assume that a woman prefers white wines in this area in 2024 is just insulting. The restaurant itself had flies going around everywhere and it was boiling hot, I’m not even sure the AC was on. I just want to set apart from this comment the waiters and the sommelier, it’s not their fault that the menu works like this and the choices they made were perfect.

21/07/2024: Semplicemente superlativo sotto ogni punto di vista! Location cibo ma la cosa che ho gradito di più è stato il servizio molto attento e assolutamente professionale! Il miglior servizio mai ricevuto in vita mia.
