22/03/2026: La Buchetta!!! I have to say that has been my most favourite restaurant I've been to in Italy. Let alone even back home. We did not have any reservations, and we took a chance to see if they could fit us in. They definitely went out their way to make sure we got a chance to eat here. That is the first amazing thing that they did. Before I even get onto the food, I have to comment about the service. The three gentlemen that were working the restaurant were the nicest people ever. Ledig, Kristian, and Benji are truly fantastic at what they do. Now onto the food. The Florentine steak was the main reason why I wanted to go here. Size of this steak was just amazing. When they brought it out to your table and carve it all up for you right in front of you, made my mouth water. I'm sure it is drooling lol It was so perfect in every way. Yes I eat every last piece fe My wife had a wonderful spaghetti, and had a couple pieces of my steak. I can't say enough about this place, and if you are in Florence, definitely book some reservation so you can get in and make sure you wear loose pants because you're going to be very full by the end of it. If I could give this place 10 stars out of five, it would be cool with stars right now. Thank you very much. Everyone of you guys were fantastic.

21/03/2026: This place is a gem!! We really enjoyed dinner at La Buchetta. Steak was amazing and Ledio made sure that we feel good and enjoy every moment of the dinner. Thank you to the whole staff for the warm welcome and Ledio in particular. Will definitely visit again.

15/11/2025: I've been coming to this restaurant for years. I've never been disappointed. The new winter menu is amazing. We had the lampredotto-stuffed zonzelle as an appetizer, which I think is phenomenal, followed by the saffron risotto with osso buco reduction, which left me speechless.

06/11/2025: The only flaw is that a pizza needs improvement, it's like eating a piadina. Honestly, there are much better pizzerias in the area and the prices for a Margherita are exaggerated: €10.

13/03/2026: Ferruccio is the added value to a place that needs no praise; he read our minds regarding the delicious food and the superb wine. Recommended on a scale of 1 to 10? Eleven! Friendliness in the dining room and a delightful welcome.

02/12/2025: Place recommended by locals... and I immediately understood why, seeing a restaurant so crowded on a Tuesday night can only mean that you're playing it safe!! 🙌 Delicious and refined menus, exquisite and abundant dishes!! I love wandering around the various places but I think that the place, the dishes and above all the managers deserve a visit from time to time 🤤 the "framcesina" will remain in my heart 🤣🤣 as well as everything else, really well done!!!

29/10/2025: The food was delicious, from appetizer to dessert. The service was impeccable. Giorgiana, with her smile and professionalism, was 10/10. Next time we return to Lucca, we'll definitely come back here.

26/10/2025: Beautiful restaurant in the center of Lucca But not just beautiful, like many restaurants in the center of Lucca. The food is exquisite, and the service is very attentive, as you'd expect from certain restaurants where expectations are high. Expectations were met, excellent quality food, a well-stocked and fresh menu, and an excellent wine cellar. Really attentive service, attentive and professional waiters. The price is a bit high, but justified. I'll definitely be back.

29/11/2025: I ordered risotto and truffle pasta, and it was a total success. The server was friendly, and it was nice to be able to enjoy a light Tuscan-style antipasto😊 Actually, except for one family who came in just before we left, we were the only ones there the entire time. After sitting by the window and analyzing(?) it, I think their marketing was weak. Many people looked at the menu posted in front of them and then just walked past. As I was leaving, I noticed the menu didn't really catch my eye. They don't really try to solicit customers, but that's a plus.

28/02/2026: A fabulous experience worth repeating. We happened upon it by chance. We were welcomed with affection and extreme kindness by three ladies (one was the cook, Mary). We ordered 1 penne alla boscaiola, 1 tortello alla Mary, and 2 pork loins (soft as butter) accompanied by roast potatoes and beans all'uccelletto. To finish, a sampling of homemade cakes (chestnut and rum, pear, cinnamon and clove, orange, carrot). A half-liter bottle of house wine. LARGE PORTIONS. EVERYTHING FABULOUS. THE TOTAL COST WAS 77 euros. We will definitely be back. PS: The three ladies also run an adjoining B&B, Borgo Antica Pieve.

14/03/2026: It puts you back in the world. Stellar suckling pig with delicious baked potatoes, but without oil and not greasy. A must-try. Their wine helps you get back in the world. Desserts round off the joy at the table.

07/04/2026: Delicious homemade pasta Bolognese, tasty rolls, and a great salad and tiramisu. The interior decor isn't very tasteful, but it's still worth a visit!

15/03/2026: This restaurant is a treat for those who are traveling and are homesick. The flavors are simple yet delicious, harmonious, and balanced. The dishes are impeccably executed, from start to finish. The desserts are a real treat. The small seating capacity and the friendly owner create a warm, relaxed, and welcoming atmosphere. Definitely worth a try.

13/03/2026: Dinner here last night with my wife and daughter. Fabulous experience from start to finish. Delicious does not do the food justice. The menu reflects food and drink the proprietor enjoys preparing and eating. You will, too. Expect some surprises and be adventurous in your choices. B.O.r.G.O. will reward you with a memorable meal and experience. Not to be missed.

19/03/2026: My favorite Japanese restaurant in Florence. A perfect place for both a romantic dinner and an evening with friends. The quality of the fish is excellent, and the dishes truly respect Japanese tradition. Exceptional service, a refined setting, and a consistently pleasant atmosphere. It's a confirmation every time.

01/03/2026: The dining room—and what can I say? I discovered it a few years ago and fell in love with it. Special Tuscan dishes and refined cuisine, perfectly executed down to the last detail, and the waiter's explanation of the ingredients' provenance was delightful. In my opinion, their signature dish is the fillet steak with Brunello di Montalcino, simply delicious. The only downside is the cleanliness; there's dust on the shelves that triggered allergic rhinitis. I highly recommend paying more attention to cleanliness to truly enjoy the best.

12/02/2026: A very quaint, traditional Tuscan restaurant with delicious dishes. The gnudi are simply delicious, with fresh spinach and a fabulous sauce. We'll definitely be back to try other delicacies.
