18/05/2026: My favorite restaurant in Siena! The staff is very nice! Family atmosphere, as it is run by a family and you feel like you are part of the family. Delicious food! Traditional, simple flavors. Large portions. Fair prices. It is a bit out of the center, but it is worth the walk! I highly recommend it! :)

17/05/2026: Incredible dinner! It was the perfect ending for our Italian tour, we had appetizers, classic cold cuts and pecorino, served with a chili-pepper jam. Then we had the best stake of our lives, it melted like butter in my mouth, lastly we ended with a limoncello tiramisu, perfect, Britta was the perfect host! Definitely recommended!

20/05/2026: The most fascinating and informative experience - and the pizza was truly excellent. We were enthralled listening to the delightful owner explain that this type of pizza is a specialty of beautiful Siena. Ingredients such as pecorino cheese, leeks and local cured meats/ salami. The owner is honestly the nicest man we’ve met in Siena A and best of all - he has an oven fired up, and bakes the pizza to your order. Most other shops around here sell cold pizza and heat it up, not here- it’s made to order. Delicious and fantastic attention to detail and hygiene. We thank you for this truly magical experience in Siena.

01/05/2026: A charming restaurant where the owner goes from table to table to greet you. They offer a set menu with choices for a starter, main course, and dessert. The tiramisu was spectacular!

28/04/2026: This is hands down the most overrated place we went to in Pisa. It was recommended by a local, which makes the whole experience even worse. Absolutely horrible from start to finish. We were the third people through the door after opening, and at that point we were the only British customers. Despite that, every single Italian who came in after us was served first. When it finally came to ordering, the waiter made a complete spectacle out of us. We were trying to speak Italian, and he deliberately pretended not to understand, then started speaking really fast and loudly in Italian before turning around and laughing with other guests right in front of us. It was humiliating. Then the food service—every other table was given fresh bread with oil, salt, and pepper. We were given a plate of stale bread just dumped on the table. No care at all. At around 12pm I asked for a coffee, and the waitress snapped at me aggressively saying no, I could only have one after the meal. The attitude was unbelievable—rude, dismissive, and honestly shocking. Who speaks to paying customers like that? At the end, we asked again for coffee and were finally “allowed” to have it. But the same waiter carried on pretending not to understand us and instead brought out two desserts we never ordered. The difference in how people were treated was blatant. Italian customers got warm greetings and friendly service. Tourists got cold, rude, dismissive behaviour. The waitress would walk up to tourist tables with a notepad and just say “Go” to take orders. No politeness, nothing. I have never felt so uncomfortable and unwelcome anywhere in my life. If you are not Italian, do NOT go here. It’s very clear they don’t want you there.

03/05/2026: A truly pleasant inn in every way. The staff is extremely kind and immediately puts you at ease, with a level of customer service that is evident in every detail. The property is very well-maintained and the setting is wonderful, although its proximity to the road doesn't detract from the experience. The rooms are simple but well-furnished and comfortable. The on-site shop is also very interesting, well-stocked and beautifully presented. We also ate divinely, with special attention given to our two children, who helped make our stay even more enjoyable. Recommended, also for the convenience of available parking.

30/04/2026: Superb. Everything was delicious, the food was excellent, and the outdoor seating area was stunning, nestled in the greenery of a small village near Siena. Extremely kind and friendly staff. Prices were reasonable for the quality and service. Highly recommended!! Dishes: I recommend the pappardelle with wild boar, ossobuco, and Cinta Senese rib eye!

06/04/2026: Very welcoming place. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff, ready to offer the best advice. We ate an excellent Florentine steak paired with a lovely glass of Chianti. I highly recommend it.

07/05/2026: I recently took my wife here for a honey moon treat and it was an incredible dinner. We were sat outside on the balcony overlooking the vineyards and watching the sunset. For dinner we had the cheese flan, the florentine steak and the truffle cheese pasta and the tiramisu. All dishes were the best we had all week in Florence and made us realise how much we loved good truffle. A beautiful restaurant and I would highly recommend. Best food we had in Tuscany and it’s a high bar. Definitely you need to book ahead as it’s only small and we could not contact the restaurant via email or WhatsApp so had to call the Italian phone number.

06/05/2026: Highly recommended! We arrived directly from Pisa airport and were welcomed around 3 pm, and we were so lucky to have been able to eat there! The food was all delicious, from the appetizers to the main courses... Everything was outstanding. And what's more, all the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. We were so lucky to have been able to eat there, thank you so much for everything!

06/05/2026: Having just arrived from Pisa airport, we contacted them via WhatsApp and, even though it was late for their usual opening hours, they told us they would welcome us without any problem. The service at La Antica Trattoria di Piero was exceptional from the very first moment. Federico gave us excellent advice on everything and made us feel right at home. The homemade food was spectacular, a 10 out of 10, and he even recommended ordering the house wine to save money… and, like everything else, it was a total success. A highly recommended place if you're looking for authenticity, good food, and friendly, honest service.
