11/08/2024: Memories from 12 years ago were refreshed. The little shop was still there :) definitely recommended for a little detour, the little hidden gem.

10/08/2024: Yesterday we discovered this really cute little place. Let's start with the MERAVIGLIOSO name. After visiting the Fantiscrive quarry we stopped in Colonnata to taste the real Lardo. Informed little place, with a beautiful play list. Starter with two types of vegetable flan, then seasoned peppers, beans and cabbage. The plate of cured meats arrives with his majesty's Colonnata lard in the centre, accompanied by pecorino with pears, bread and sgabei (fried bread dough), all really good. Plus water, sweet wine and coffee. The owner, the cook and the waiter were super nice. Well done, well done.

13/08/2024: Amerikansk frokost midt i Firenze. Stor meny - her er alt fra amerikanske pannekaker til acocado Toast. Ikke typisk italiensk - men trenger du et avbrekk - så er dette plassen. Burger var visstnok veldig god! Mye folk og venteliste. Ganske trangt mellom bordene, men god mat og ikke minst gode og spennende smooties. Noen veldig hyggelige damer i betjeningene, men «pengeinnkreverne» kunne godt spandert på seg et smil eller to… Litt bedre service og litt mindre hektiske servitører - så hadde det blitt full score…

13/08/2024: A very good restaurant. We have come from Barcelona to spend a few days in Italy and of the three days we have been in Siena, this is the best restaurant we have been to. We have ordered pasta and meat (with and without truffle) and everything has been great (special nod to the osso buco). The staff has been 10 and they are super friendly. Truly a mandatory stop if you come to Siena.

11/08/2024: Very good and beautiful semi-gastronomic restaurant, a little away from the tourist places, thus avoiding the crowds - it has a discreet terrace (be careful of mosquitoes). The dishes offered are typical Italian and coastal (especially fish and wine). The staff is very friendly and helped us with the choices. I recommend.

26/07/2024: Incredible food and service. Were a family of 5 and everyone found something they loved to fill us up for a day of exploring Florence. Staff are extremely nice and friendly.

26/07/2024: Went with my two teenage kids (17) and (19) for brunch. There was a little bit of a wait for a table but it moved fast. Free water and refills, brewed coffee not instant. Kids each had a banana strawberry smoothie and loved it. We had the pancakes, French toast and a breakfast burrito with fries and loved everything. Would have gone back again but didn’t find it until our last day. One of our best meals. Thanks!

23/08/2024: A place out of time. in a small, very suggestive village, the restaurant is run by Carmen and Francesco, very nice people and excellent restaurateurs, their dishes tasty, with a touch always aimed at their origins where Sicily and Tuscany merge. We will definitely be back ❣️

07/06/2024: Very nice little place in the streets of the center of Florence, characterized by lots of bottles of wine on the walls and a somewhat wine bar style (the name suggested something). Developing in length, some tables appear rather attached to the neighboring one, so let's say that you don't have a truly "intimate" dinner, but this is not a problem. Very friendly staff, they also provide some advice on both dishes and pairings that can be made with wine. We opt for some crostone with livers as a starter and two types of first courses as the main course: "fettuccine" (I don't remember exactly the pasta format) with truffle and ravioli filled with wild boar. All very good, perhaps not very abundant dishes as far as I'm concerned. We conclude the dinner with a tiramisu (very good) and the classic Cantucci with vin santo. Really very good dinner and good value for money.

02/06/2024: A few Reddit users suggested this place and so glad they did. The food and service were fantastic. The steak is meant to be shared, far too large for one person. It was delicious with and without finishing salt provided. I love octopus and this was cooked to perfection, in my opinion. The ravioli was to die for, don’t sleep on it! Not pictured but also excellent: tartare and tiramisu. The service was also great. The owner and waiter were kind and attentive.

13/08/2024: We went to this very welcoming, clean bar with normal prices for coffee and cappuccino and very good sweet pieces from the barista. Vincenzo is number one 👍 I recommend him to everyone

22/08/2024: Imbattuta per caso in questo locale non posso che dire di esserne stata letteralmente conquistata. Un menù tradizionale davvero ben eseguito, nulla da dire. Una giardiniera da podio da ordinare assolutamente, buoni i salumi, pasta e sughi ottimi, coniglio alla cacciatora e zucchine davvero memorabili. E quando credevo di non potermi stupire ancora.. una crostata di ricotta e visciole mozzafiato! Ma il carico da 100 ce lo mette la signora Laura: servizio caldo, accogliente e scherzoso. Mi sono rilassata e divertita. "Da Nada" ho passato decisamente un'ottima serata. Tornerò sicuramente.

19/08/2024: Premessa: questa recensione è VERA (meglio chiarirlo subito, visto il tono di una precedente recensione), oltre che sincera e senza secondi fini - naturalmente, spero che tutti possano dire altrettanto. Siamo stati a pranzo lunedì 12 agosto e ci siamo trovati benissimo. Innanzitutto per l'ambiente, avendo mangiato sul terrazzo con una vista magnifica sulle colline intorno a Roccadeterighi. Anche l'accoglienza è stata piacevole, tutto il personale è stato gentile e attento, senza essere invadente. RIguardo al cibo, abbiamo preso un antipasto di crostini misti, molto buoni e vari (oltre al classico crostino toscano, diversi erano a base di verdure). Abbiamo poi proseguito con pappardelle al ragù bianco di cinta senese: a mio gusto, sarebbe stato meglio lasciare la pasta un più al dente, essendo fresca, ma il ragù era davvero ottimo (per inciso, a mia moglie la pasta piace più cotta). Per concludere, torta alla ricotta con visciole, molto piacevole. Non abbiamo provato i secondi, ma avremo sicuramente un'altra occasione per farlo. Da parte nostra, consigliamo sicuramente questa locanda a chiunque sia in cerca di una buona trattoria toscana.

01/09/2024: I stopped in this ice cream shop because I was attracted by the "vegan options" sign: I was really curious to see how many and what flavors I would find here and... surprise of surprises, not the usual fruit flavors but there were Pistachio, Hazelnut and Chocolate dark 😍 The best surprise was that the waffles were also vegan, so I got a nice cone with pistachio and chocolate, very satisfied, also with the kindness of the girl who served me :) The price seemed a little high to me (€3.50 for two flavors) but it must also be said that I haven't been to an ice cream shop since last year, so maybe we're within the norm 😅 I took it with me to go and eat it in the small square nearby, since the ice cream shop didn't have tables outside but only inside. I was afraid it would be too sweet and sugary, but it was PERFECT for my taste! I enjoyed it a lot, it's a shame because I would have liked to make it last longer but it was melting and I had to finish it quickly! 😢 Very good, I will definitely be back! I was really satisfied 💕💕

22/04/2024: stati in questo locale dopo un impegno di lavoro con un collega, posto piccolo, pochi tavoli ma molto accogliente, un bel tagliere di affettati, crostini uno sformatino, gli affettati di ottima qualità, un tris di tartare io e il collega un raviolo con carciofi... tutto ottimo, consigliato, buono il vino e anche la grappa di cui purtroppo non ricordo il nome.... prezzo 40 a testa... più che giusto
