08/07/2025: During my week-long vacation in Cecina, I discovered this restaurant where I can eat typical Tuscan dishes. I ate an incredible Tagliata, thrilling... delicious and very tender. I went back a second time for the Fiorentina, I'd say it was a sublime experience... impeccable!!!

03/07/2025: A restaurant full of Tuscan style. I highly recommend the zucchini pasta, which is very delicious! The chicken steak with caramelized onions is also delicious! The service staff is friendly and kind, and the beautiful scenery that matches the food makes the dining experience even better! Looking forward to visiting again next time.

05/07/2025: Returned a year later I confirm everything ... unique place in the area! There are also new dishes .. delicious! My advice: let the chef guide you .. he will know how to make you live a special experience! FANTASTIC, The best restaurant tried this year between Versilia and Milan. They had always spoken well of this restaurant but we had never found a place. This time we moved well in advance (mid-June to book in August). Young, polite, precise and prepared staff. Upon arrival they offer an aperitif with personalized cocktail and delicious tastings. Then the Chef comes by, unique. Never seen such service in any starred restaurant. He is friendly, easy-going and speaks with each table to choose the menu together based on the tastes of the diners. We opted for a 6-course tasting with lots of raw fish but also meat to finish (and it was worth it). What can I say, everything is exceptional. Excellent wine list without excessive markups. Focaccina, breadsticks and warm bread all to be tasted. Correct quality-price ratio. Perfect for an evening with your partner. I absolutely recommend doing a tasting and giving the chef free rein.. you won't regret it

01/07/2025: -Hic manebimus optime- Last night, on the advice of friends we tried 'la martinica' As soon as we arrived, Francesco, the chef, introduced himself by exchanging a short chat where he was able to understand our tastes and preferences. We opted for the 8-course menu and we did not regret it at all. The menu, mainly fish, left us speechless at every course, excellent quality food and raw materials worked by professionals! During dinner, the chef joined us with great interest in the progress of the evening, a very positive note as far as I'm concerned. The service was impeccable, attentive, friendly and refined. The location, very well-kept and welcoming. The dinner was accompanied by the pleasant sound of the waterfall adjacent to the restaurant. Francesco and his staff deserve the right recognition that I'm sure will come! ⭐️ I recommend it to those who, in addition to eating, want to have an experience that will carry with them for a while. The price is more than fair for the culinary qualities of the restaurant. The fish is spectacular as are the pairings that accompany it, the pastries are truly sublime but the highlight, for me, is the closing of the menu with the bison, a truly extraordinary flavor! Yes, we had a really great time here. See you soon!

04/07/2025: Great evening We had dinner at the trattoria “il giardino” and we had a great evening: friendly and knowledgeable staff who knew how to advise, excellent food with special dishes and good wine, a unique location with a spectacular view. I definitely recommend it, to try.

02/07/2025: ⭐️ 1 star We wanted to go to Trattoria Il Giardino as a family with two small children – several tables were clearly free, but we were immediately and rather coldly turned away, told that everything was reserved. An hour later, we walked past again: the same tables were still empty. We got the impression that families with small children weren't welcome there. It's a shame – that shouldn't happen in a restaurant of this type.

04/07/2025: The waiters were very kind, very efficient and easy-going, especially the waitress. Fast service and excellent dishes. Delicious appetizers, exquisite desserts. In addition, the first courses were perfectly measured, satisfying the appetite without leaving anything left over. I recommend!

Cibo: 8,5/10 Servizio: 9/10 Atmosfera: 6/10 (soggettiva) Prezzo: 7,5/10 Posizione: 8/10 Prenotazione: 10/10 Tempo di attesa: 10/10 Posizione vicina al centro, ma non immersi nella bolgia. Abbiamo trovato parcheggio in una via adiacente e, finita la cena e prima di rientrare, abbiamo goduto di una piacevole passeggiata lungo l'Arno. Il locale è particolare, simpatico, ha due piccole sale e un grande bagno. A noi è stato riservato un tavolo abbastanza appartato perché avevamo cane al seguito. Si mangia in mezzo a magliette appese, cosa che a me non faceva impazzire...ma il cibo mi ha fatto dimenticare qualsiasi cosa. Io ho preso: Antipasto, tris di Montanarine (polpo, tartare salmone, tartare di gamberi), molto buona soprattutto quella con il polpo. Primo, tortelli al lampredotto con cubettata di verdurine croccanti e salsa verde SPETTACOLARE. Dolce, una tortina al cioccolato/cuore caldo, nella norma. Il mio compagno ha preso: Antipasto, tartare di tonno con maionese agli agrumi (a lui non piace il pesce, se non tonno crudo di qualità). L'ha apprezzata. Primo, gnocchi cacio e pepe con pere flambate al rum e granella di noci. Dolce: spumamisù, buono. Calice di bianco ad accompagnare. I camerieri sono stati super disponibili e gentili, passavano spesso e (senza essere invadenti o farsi notare) guardavano a che punto eravamo per procedere col piatto successivo che arrivava in tempo giustissimo e sempre insieme a quello ordinato dal partner. Tra un piatto e l'altro qualche chiacchiera tra noi a cui poi, verso fine serata, si è unito anche il cameriere raccontandoci qualcosa della città. Abbiamo speso 70€ in due, considerato lo sconto che avevamo (del 50% sui piatti) forse un po' alto, ma credo che la promessa di sconto sia il "gioco" per guadagnare clientela. Comunque siamo usciti pienamente soddisfatti. Prenotazione semplice e veloce tramite app, comunicazione e gestione delle esigenze (in questo caso: cane) veloce e ottimale. Lo consiglio e ci tornerei (anche se da fuori inizialmente non mi ispirava granché!)

28/05/2025: A warm and intimate dining experience! We were greeted with a complementary glass of prosecco and many tasting dishes. The food was light, delicious and all freshly made. I would recommend and look forward to coming back!

13/05/2025: [Guaranteed emotion, taste, and service] I am Korean. I highly recommend Koreans who are reading this to visit this place. It is better to receive the best service here than to eat expensive and tasteless food in downtown Florence!! I visited with my 7 and 4 year old daughters. The owner of this place, Ms. Betania, was really, really kind and helpful. I ordered a basic pasta, but before that, food that I had never eaten before came out, so I asked if I had ordered it wrong, and she just said welcome and gave it to me. But it was really, really delicious. To be honest, I would have paid more if I had to, but they only charged me the price of the pasta. It was delicious and the service was good enough that I was willing to pay more. It was really nice that they really loved my daughters. I am leaving Florence today, and I will definitely come here when I visit again. I recommend Koreans to come here. Have a nice trip :)

The service was excellent, the staff were very friendly, and above all, the owner was kind and professional. The food was excellent, and the Florentine steak was delicious, just like everything else. 16/07/2025: A real insider tip! For around €15 per person, you not only get authentic Italian food here, but also an atmosphere that immediately puts you at home. The team works extremely well together – friendly, prompt, and genuinely passionate about their service. A particularly positive aspect: their warm manner with children. My little brother was immediately greeted warmly, and we adults were also given a charming welcome – with a glass of delicious sparkling wine. I was probably guessed to be a bit younger and left empty-handed – which made me chuckle. The dishes? Simple, honest, and incredibly delicious. Fresh ingredients, homemade pasta, perfectly seasoned – typically Tuscan and prepared with love. If you want to experience Florence off the beaten track and enjoy great food, this is the place for you. Value for money: unbeatable! Grazie mille e arrivederci!

The aperoll is out of this world. The food is simple and excellent. Everything is magical. You'll find it if you look for it. Don't miss it.

03/07/2025: We had a truly beautiful meal at BOrGO last night! Attentive and interactive service that was genuine — no saccharine shows here. The unexpected starter of ratatouille was exceptional, and that’s when I knew we were in for a real treat. House-made sourdough followed. It was also outstanding. All three of us absolutely loved our entrees (two from the menu — don’t sleep on the cappellacci with guinea fowl ragu — and one special) and our shared dessert so much that we booked a reservation for 48 hours later— our last meal before departing Florence.
