08/02/2025: A truly splendid restaurant. Small, but beautiful. Michelin star dishes. Top service and the menu is worth the trip. You would never imagine finding a place of this level in a small village like Radicofani.

19/01/2025: Truly a great experience!! I had lunch at Mimmo's at Ginestre in January and everything was excellent and looked after! Homemade bread, excellent pici with wild boar and very tender cheek for a second course which I highly recommend!

05/04/2025: Best gelato I’ve ever had. It’s creamy without dairy and the flavors were out of this world! Plus- the CUPCONE! Why is this the only gelato or ice cream shop that has this amazingly tasty and convenient invention??

05/04/2025: Wow. This was some of, if not the best gelato I have every had. Absolutely delicious. Fair prices too! All the flavors looked so good, it was hard to pick just a couple. I would recommend pistachio. It’s phenomenal.

14/02/2025: This is THE BEST pizza I’ve ever had!!! I literally dream about in now. The owner is a food genius, the flavor combinations were amazing!! We got there right before they officially opened for lunch, we were able to sit and have a glass of wine while we watched the owner work, it was fascinating. I can’t even remember exactly what all the different combinations of ingredients there were, but trust me… they’re all good! Get the sampler where you get a small piece of each pizza! The owner and staff were awesome and attentive, even with the crowds starting to pour in. Helpful hint, get there right when they open because they get super busy!!

27/12/2024: You pay by the gram and it’s not a bad price at all! Great service. My favorite was The whole wheat crust is to die for. We will come back.

09/02/2025: abito da oltre 17 anni in toscana e posso affermare siano i tortelli di patate e lampredotto tra i più buoni che abbia mai mangiato. prezzo decisamente onesto e porzioni abbondanti. bravi continuate così e tornerò spesso😉

29/03/2025: We just finished a fabulous experience at La Grotta. March is definitely slow season here but we have never been more welcomed or felt more "tended to" than our dinner at La Grotta. The dinner started with a nice pour of complimentary Prosecco and a small bite, followed of course by locally made bread and olive oil. My wife and I shared the stuffed artichoke and then the guinea fowl-filled ravioli to start the meal. For secondi, I had the lamb and my wife had the duck. All dishes were exemplary! I disagree with reviewers who comment that portion sizes are too small. True, they are not large, but all were beautifully presented and just right for our tastes. We will return on our next visit to Montepulciano!

04/04/2025: I had lunch at this restaurant alone for work. Excellent basic ingredients cooked by the owner's mother. They told me they made high quality pici all'aglione, so I asked and they were kind enough to make them for me. I don't think I've ever eaten such good pici. High expense but worth it. It's not a place for every day, but that's okay, more suitable for special evenings and anniversaries.

05/04/2025: Ormai è da anni che vado in questo ristorante e non mi ha mai deluso. Titolare e camerieri molto gentili e attenti al servizio. Tutto il menù è composto da materie prime di ottima qualità ed è composto sia da piatti di terra che di mare. Da fiorentina posso dire che la bistecca è speciale! Anche la pizza è molto buona e soprattutto digeribile. Templari=garanzia!

10/03/2025: Went for a short vacation in Tuscany, I ask the owner of the B&B for advice on where to eat a good Florentine steak near Santa Fiora. They recommend La Scottiglia. So I call, book and go. I have never made a better decision. They offer me 3 cuts, 1.4 kg 1.6 kg or 1.8 kg. The one in the photo is 1.8 kg. It melted in the mouth. Meat from their farm. 6 euros per 100 grams. Very honest price. Highly recommended.
