12/10/2025: Wonderful family run restaurant serving delicious freshly made food. But if you are Tiramisu, be aware they only make a limited number of servings per day, and they all get eaten. The Peposo, Tuscan beef stew, is exceptional as was the Creme Brulee which caramelized at the table. Patronized by locals you need to make reservations for the weekend.

11/10/2025: You can be sure you'll have the best steak. If you order fries with it, that's great too, and of course, with their homemade wine, they make the perfect trio.

I believe the location, the dining room where a wonderful lunch or dinner is served, and the dishes themselves speak volumes even more than the reviews themselves. Book and enjoy something unique. Kudos not only to the chef, who, by listening to his guests' preferences, can take you on a unique culinary journey, but especially to the staff, both in the dining room and, above all, in the kitchen. The moment you arrive, you’re greeted by the peaceful charm of the Tuscan countryside – a setting that immediately invites you to slow down and enjoy the moment. The location strikes a perfect balance between rustic and elegant, with thoughtful details that reflect a deep appreciation for both tradition and contemporary comfort. The service was excellent throughout the entire meal. The staff were warm and attentive, striking just the right tone – always available, but never overbearing. It’s clear that hospitality here is taken seriously, and that every guest is made to feel welcome and relaxed. We were offered a tasting menu personally curated by the chef, and it was an exceptional journey through refined and creative cuisine. The menu included a variety of intriguing elements: delicate raw fish, a luxurious truffle and potato combination, perfectly cooked linguine enriched with miso, followed by bold proteins like bison, suckling pig, and quail. Each dish showcased a clear culinary vision – combining high-quality ingredients with modern technique and thoughtful presentation. Most of the courses stood out for their originality and flavor. The raw fish dish was fresh and balanced, the truffle and potato pairing offered an indulgent yet refined start, – a fusion of umami and elegance. The meats were handled with care, each prepared to highlight their unique character without overpowering the palate. Not every dish was a “wow” moment, but the overall experience remained highly impressive. The few elements that were slightly less impactful didn’t detract from the coherence or enjoyment of the meal – if anything, they underscored the chef’s willingness to take creative risks, which we genuinely appreciated. One of the strengths of La Martinatica is how it combines an ambitious, chef-driven menu with the relaxed charm of its surroundings. There’s no pretension here – just a sincere dedication to quality, creativity, and the pleasure of good food. 17/10/2025: Complete experience 🍕, just steps from the Uffizi, elegant yet informal atmosphere. Seated on the terrace overlooking Piazza della Signoria: a magical atmosphere at sunset. The staff was attentive and never intrusive, with perfect service times. We chose a Tuscan appetizer, followed by tagliatelle with ragù and house lasagna: everything balanced in flavor. The wine list was well-thought out: the recommended Chianti paired perfectly with the dishes. Excellent homemade desserts (tiramisu and cheesecake) and the price was reasonable for the location.

16/10/2025: Do not hesitate. Book the reservation. We are at two Michelin restaurants on our trip and B.O.r.G.O. Was better than everything else we had. Gabriele was a fantastic host and chef. I will be recommending this restaurant to anyone I know going to Florence.

02/11/2025: We were pleasantly surprised by Osteria La Stanzina! The atmosphere is refined, welcoming, and intimate; the service is professional, courteous, and efficient; the cuisine offers original yet traditional dishes, with a syncretism that satisfies all palates: exceptional! I personally highly recommend the Tapilla di Maiale Iberico (Iberian Pork Tapas), absolutely unbeatable!

15/10/2025: Very good regional dishes. There's also a German menu, but you should order the Italian one. The dishes in German are different than you'd expect. Luckily, we had a local with us who explained everything to us.
