There's not much to say, Osteria del Teatro is a must-visit if you're spending a day in Cortona and the surrounding area. For lunch or dinner. The staff is extremely kind and professional. As stated on the menu, they invite you to ask for recommendations. And we did! Thank you so much, we ate wonderfully!

An excellent service and a wonderful atmosphere! It would be already enough for a special evening. But there is a fantastic food as well. The dishes are unique though they are within the local cuisine with the element of elegance and beautiful presentation.

We went for lunch as a couple, having found it in the Osteria d'Italia guide at the last minute. We had a great time; both the appetizers and the first courses were delicious (different from the usual fare), made with excellent ingredients. We'll definitely be back. Well done!

A typical Tuscan restaurant, highly recommended if you're looking for good pasta. The dishes are prepared with authentic flavor, and the care taken in the kitchen is evident, so I wholeheartedly recommend it. The ambiance and decor are ideal for immersing yourself in traditional Tuscany, with a welcoming atmosphere that perfectly complements the dining experience.

Very beautiful and well-kept place. I chose it from the Michelin website; honestly, I wouldn't call it an osteria, but more of a restaurant. The service was courteous and professional. The food was good, but not excellent, especially the tagliata and baked potatoes.

20/04/2026: We stumbled upon it by chance, but we'll be back even though it's not exactly close to Bologna for us, because we had a great time and the food was excellent. They have a very affordable set menu or à la carte. The Florentine steak was cooked masterfully...well done...well done!

03/05/2026: An excellent dining experience at this historic restaurant in Caprese Michelangelo, family-run for decades and offering a very good value. Start with a house platter, accompanied by warm, freshly fried focaccia, a delicious truffle salad, warm soufflés, and fried porcini mushrooms. The first courses are homemade and fully reflect the flavors of the region. Second courses include grilled pork, veal, and lamb, or, for those who prefer, a plate of local cheeses. You can finish on a sweet note with creamy custards, biscotti, or homemade tartlets. Oh... the house wine from nearby Umbria is highly recommended. Much credit to Alfredo, his partner, and their entire staff!
30/04/2026: We went to Cerro for lunch, and had a mixed antipasto and two first courses. The dishes were truly delicious. The hint of porcini mushrooms in the dishes was wonderful! The setting is very beautiful and well-kept.
