Both thr vegetarian and non very options were good. Place is clean and service was fast. There is a taxi abandoned right in front of the reaturant and it is a walking distance to the main square

But here professional people come into play, and the Michelin star is merely a confirmation of the harmony that reigns. In addition to being a culinary experience of the highest level, there is peace, joy, attention. I would go back a thousand times. Thank you!

Lo chef Nunziata porta in tavola piatti che fondono tradizione italiana e creatività, con sapori intensi e presentazioni raffinate.Serviti con classe dal personale di sala.

07/04/2025: Definitely still a good restaurant but worse than a few years ago. You won't stop craving mushrooms and truffles on Sunday with the fixed menu at €40 each all inclusive. All good, but nothing exceptional. There is some refresher but not with mushroom and truffle based things.

18/03/2025: We stayed 2 nights at the Buca di Michelangelo while visiting the La Verna Sanctuary at the beginning of a walking pilgrimage.  The tour company chose the place and booked the reservation.  It was a very beautiful location and our room (not in the main house) was very comfortable.  We had what might be called a two room suite in an adjoining building (it had a combination Living Room, Dining Room, & Kitchen, along with a nice size Bedroom and a Bathroom with a shower).  Everything was first class but the best part of the stay was the staff.  They went out of  their way to get us comfortable settled in our rooms,  they prepared outstanding meals for our group and were flexible with their dining schedule to meet the group needs.  I would definitely stay there again if I had the opportunity.

13/04/2025: Comida deliciosa, excelentes opciones de vino y un servicio encantador y atento. No podríamos haber pedido una mejor experiencia. Muy recomendable. También nos alojamos en el apartamento de la granja conectado con el restaurante y era encantador y limpio, y el desayuno era delicioso.

06/04/2025: Gran servicio, excelente comida, hermosa ubicación: 20 minutos de Siena! Una de nuestras comidas favoritas en la Toscana. Tripadvisor debería reducir su límite mínimo de palabras. No estoy escribiendo una tesis aquí.

05/04/2025: dopo tanto tempo sono tornato alla Panacea, in occasione di un viaggio; anche questa volta le aspettative sono state ampiamente ripagate... ero da solo e mi hanno portato un tagliere misto, nel senso che c'erano dentro formaggi, salumi fatti da loro, tartare di carne e anche delle carni salate e fatte a carpaccio... tutto ottimo così come il pane, infatti ne ho mangiato due cestini...! poi mi hanno portato la carne, cotta nel forno a legna... spettacolare... siccome ero indeciso su quale carne scegliere (nei frigoriferi di frollatura ce ne sono una ventina di qualità diverse) mi hanno portato due tagli diversi... sinceramente non ricordo il nome, ma i due tipi di carne erano una meglio dell'altra...!!! e poi il vino... sempre perchè ero indeciso, e non essendo un grandissimo intenditore di etichette particolari, mi sono fatto portare il "semplice" vino della casa... altro che semplice, non so chi glielo produce ma è un vino ottimo che non ha nulla da invidiare ai vini titolati...!!! confermo il giudizio positivo e consiglio vivamente questo posto...!

11/12/2024: We are a couple without kids. We were looking for a unique and quiet place to explore he landscape by car and mountainbike. We loved everything in locando del molino. The warm welcome, the kindness of the stuff the wonderful, detailed restored mill, the delicious meals makes the stay unforgetable. We recommed to book the half board. We definitly plan to come back. 17/03/2025: Il Locale è bello, ben arredato, accogliente e in un contesto bello. Ciò che mi ha spinto a fare la recensione comunque è la gentilezza e l'accoglienza dello staff, che è stato un inaspettata e piacevole sorpresa. Il cibo era buono, menzione particolare alla sovra coscia di Pollo davvero buonissima e gli antipasti davvero ottimi. Il prezzo è buono considerando quanto si spende a cenare fuori in posti meno affascinanti di questo. Consigliatissimo anche per le famiglie, non solo per il buon cibo ma anche per il trattamento.

13/04/2025: A hidden restaurant known only to Italian locals, a gem discovered through Chet GPT! Perfect for 30-month-aged Parmesan cheese, homemade olive oil, and dry-aged steak. The steak is so tender and clean that I keep eating it. Service, quality, and price are all the best!
