15/03/2026: Cannot overstate how good the food was. We ordered the ribeye chefs selection and truffle mashed potatoes. Both absolutely knocked our socks off. Best steak we have ever had hands down. Atmosphere was fantastic with it being in an underground basement with stone walls and arches that really reflect the history of the town. Service was excellant as well. Possibly most surprising was that the prices were absolutely reasonable. This restaurant could charge much more based on the food quality and atmostphere. Chef is an artist. Also, not crowded at all. Absolutely must come to this place.

The cuisine offers traditional Tuscan and Mediterranean dishes, with a focus on local, seasonal ingredients, such as handmade pici, soups, ravioli, and quality meat dishes, along with a well-selected wine cellar.

07/04/2026: I had a wonderful evening. The service, taste, and atmosphere were all excellent. We ordered truffle pasta and T-bone steak, and the pasta was served in two separate bowls. The steak was delicious, and we ordered a bottle of house red wine; the price was reasonable, and it paired well with the meat. For dessert, we were served sorbet and cantuccini, and the cantuccini was so delicious that I wanted to buy some to take home. The fried appetizer felt like fried rice cake sticks. It was savory and tasty, but I couldn't eat much because I was worried about getting too full. If I go back to Florence, I would like to visit again.

The food was incredible all homemade, traditional Tuscan recipes that were clearly prepared with love and care. Every dish was bursting with authentic flavor, from the fresh pasta to the slow-cooked sauces and rustic desserts. It felt like being invited into a local family’s kitchen. What made the experience even more special was the atmosphere cozy, welcoming, and full of character. You can really feel the passion behind everything they do. If you’re in Florence and want to experience genuine local food and the warmth of a true Italian family, don’t miss this place. It was one of the highlights of our trip!

03/01/2026: Highly recommended for lunch near the Strozzi Palace and the Uffizi Gallery. Excellent pasta, good service, and a comfortable atmosphere. Home-style, family-run food. The tagliatelle with pesto was wonderful, and the gnocchi with tomato sauce was also very good. We didn't take pictures of the main courses, but we thoroughly enjoyed them. Prices are typical for the area; not cheap, but not expensive either. Perhaps the best value for money we found in our four days in Florence. We were there a few days ago and didn't want to miss the opportunity to write a review. Thank you.

11/03/2026: A wonderful restaurant where you can enjoy an excellent plate of homemade pasta. The quality of the pasta is evident, as are the ingredients used to toss it. We ordered gnocchi with artichoke and burrata sauce, and tagliatelle with pistachio pesto, yellow datterini tomatoes, and salted ricotta. The work and quality behind the meal justify the reasonable prices (about €15 per dish). Friendly staff, simple and well-maintained restaurant. I highly recommend trying it at least once; I'll definitely be back.

15/03/2026: We've been back to eat here and are always satisfied. On Sundays, they serve a set lunch menu, and they even managed to accommodate the celiac at the table (and it was all delicious).
