04/11/2025: Discovered during Lucca Comics and Games, it was a lifesaver. They had Tuscan focaccia available in various flavors, a few combinations with drinks, and specials for the following days (from the third day of the fair onward, unfortunately I didn't have time to try them). Everything was delicious, and the place and the restrooms were very tidy and clean.

21/03/2026: Saturday night was ruined. I'd called to reserve days in advance and was told there was only one table left. Unfortunately, no one had specified that all the other tables would be occupied by a private party. This obviously wouldn't have been a problem if the guests had been in a separate room or at a table, but we found ourselves dining with loud music blasting from the small room behind us (with the door open) and about twenty people standing in front of our table in the bar area, drinking and making noise for the entire dinner. It would have been appropriate to specify the presence of the private party when booking, given that during our "romantic" dinner, we couldn't even speak across the table. Furthermore, the prices were high for rather meager portions (an €18 platter for a few slices of cured meat, some cheese, and two crostini; a second course of first courses cost €18 per person for less than half a portion per dish—the ravioli were good, but only three) and had a few flaws (pasta with liver killer described as "slightly spicy," which my husband, who loves spicy food, struggled to eat, and roasted onions smothered in oil and with fennel that wasn't listed on the menu). We paid €74 for an appetizer, two first courses, and two side dishes, only to end up ordering two takeout pizzas 10 minutes later because we were still hungry and hadn't been satisfied. The desserts might have been good, but just the thought of staying in there for another two minutes was a turn-off. The icing on the cake: Given the number of people in the restaurant, I asked for the bill at the table, but was told I had to go to the cashier, where I literally had to slalom through the crowd to get to the table. A nightmare right up until the end.

01/11/2025: La Botteghe di Donatello is an amazing restaurant, the atmosphere is cozy and pleasant, the food is excellent, and the service is outstanding. We went there several times during our stay in Florence, and every visit was wonderful. I’d like to give special thanks to Norbert, who welcomed us warmly and was very attentive and friendly. Without a doubt, an exceptional professional.

16/02/2026: My father, brother, and I went for lunch. We were pleasantly surprised by the selection of "supersonic" steaks, excellent meats. The owner even came out to present the cut of meat we requested: Chianina fillet and medium-aged steak with a good amount of fat. It was amazing! 😋. We drank a bottle of house wine, which wasn't bad. A wonderful surprise and experience. We must return to the area. We'll definitely return to this splendid "temple of cigarettes."

08/04/2026: I got the “Ravioli ripieni di ricotta e per con burro al timo” (ravioli stuffed with ricotta and pears with thyme butter) and holy moly it was godly. I also got the “Insalata verde” (green garden salad) which was just a bowl of lettuce. I really just wanted a vegetable and it did the trick. My partner for the “Gnocchi di patate al sugo di anatra” (Potato gnocchi with duck ragù) which was also super good! The food here was incredible! We didn’t get a lot of food because we weren’t too hungry but everything that went by also looked amazing. I would definitely go back!

06/04/2026: Everything was wonderful, Silvio is a great guy and listen to his recommendations, he's a true professional, you'll definitely be satisfied. The Picci with duck is superb. You absolutely must try the Tagliata with red wine! Coffee and Tiramisu are a great ending.

10/04/2026: Returning after twenty years and discovering the flavors that distinguish Bussé was absolutely priceless. Some dishes could be improved, but the overall result is a tasty and satisfying lunch. Recommended for anyone passing through.

06/04/2026: We spent Easter lunch at this restaurant in Pontremoli, and the experience was overall very positive. The atmosphere was pleasant and the food was good, making the day even more special. Special thanks go to the foreign waiter, who stood out for his kindness and attentiveness. Not only was he always present at our table, discreetly asking if we needed anything, but he also took care of the other tables with equal care. He also made sure that nothing on the menu was missing, such as honey, which he served promptly and professionally. His helpfulness made up for some of the other staff members' inattention, truly making a difference. Overall, I recommend this place and hope to return soon.

14/04/2026: Great Burgers You get a menu to customize your burger in your native language. The food was great, high-quality meat. The fries are made on-site with a potato ricer. The atmosphere is more like a fast-food joint, but it's okay!
