Papaveri e Papere In San miniato

Very beautiful and evocative environment, there is a beautiful window and in summer the environment outside certainly makes it. The waiters were very kind right from the start. We chose the seafood tasting in order to taste multiple courses. All the dishes were interesting and well executed, a couple of critical points regarding the cooking of the octopus (chewy, but very well roasted) and the bisque (it didn't taste good, unfortunately it ruined the whole dish) The dessert wasn't bad but the caramel was a little too forward and the ice cream didn't taste like much, but its function in the end was to give freshness and this it did. A positive note is the wine list, very extensive and with several important choices. All in all a wonderful experience, I felt very sorry for a waitress who unfortunately had no voice that evening, so she couldn't explain the dishes (in my opinion they could have sent someone else) It's worth coming!

Special and refined dishes. The tagliatelle with white truffle is very good. Kindness and professionalism. Fairly extensive wine list, appetizing menu but with a somewhat limited choice. Location in my opinion a little cold and with a table layout that could be improved. However, the environment was nice and the equipment was very pleasant.

As always, an experience worth living, excellent service and sublime food. Good guys!

What an exceptional restaurant this is, what a gem, a total discovery. The food, the service and the ambiance is perfect. We ate during the winter months and we can’t wait to dine during the summer in the beautiful garden. I can’t recommend this highly enough.

Super elegant place with attention to every detail. Very elaborate and truly excellent dishes. Cellar ready to satisfy every possible combination. I believe that there is a limit between price/quality ratio, and this is one of those restaurants that completely exceeds it.

Inizialmente c'è stato un attimo di perplessità e imbarazzo in quanto non avevano il tavolo disponibile, nonostante la prenotazione. Superato l'imbarazzo hanno trovato una soluzione per farci accomodare e la serta si è conclusa positivamente. Al momento di pagare mi è stato accordato anche uno sconto, quindi ringrazio, anche se certi errori non dovrebbero accadere in un locale di questo livello.

Non è un caso che Papaveri e Papere sia inserito nella classifica dei 10 migliori ristoranti italiani per rapporto qualità prezzo stilata dal Gambero rosso. Piuttosto c’è da chiedersi come riesca a mantenere un livello così elevato con prezzi di fatto uguali a quelli praticati prima del Covid e di una inflazione impazzita. La risposta forse è nella continua ricerca dei prodotti e nella passione per il proprio lavoro. Il menu’ che spazia dalla carne al pesce non lascia spazio al fine dining ma ad una cucina solida fatta di sapore e materie prime eccellenti (a partire dal tartufo bianco di San Miniato). Buonissimo (soprattutto per la qualità del tartufo ) il carpaccio di carne al tartufo cosi’ come gli spaghetti alle vongole con polvere di cozze e le Mezze maniche cotte nel brodetto di pesce con seppie e pesce bianco; nota di merito anche per il baccala’. Eccellenti anche i dolci ed in particolare la torta al limone con mousse di Cioccolato bianco, cialda di Miele e gelato allo Yogurt. Carta dei vini ampia e con prezzi non esagerati. Servizio veloce e professionale. Sui prezzi non dico nulla provate la cucina e poi giudicherete se La menzione del Gambero rosso è corretti

sono ancora qui a sedere, ed è il classico posto in cui non vorrei mai alzarmi, sia per il cibo, trattato in modo estremamente rispettoso, sia per il servizio, altrettanto riverente. Solo complimenti!
