25/03/2025: We chose this restaurant because it is Monday and it is hard to find a restaurant on Monday. And we were not mistaken because it has the best fresh fish, shrimp and other crudo. And also great and fast service. And a large wine list. Jio is the best restaurant owner I have ever met. It is very nice. And I was also surprised by the large number of liqueurs made from pistachios, melon, lemon and banana. Definitely 5 stars. You are the best. Thank you for the great service.

14/10/2024: We discovered this restaurant on Straccoligno beach on a Sunday in October, because with my girlfriend and our 2 month old baby, we wanted to have lunch by the sea, given the beautiful sunny day. Choice was no longer right. We ate some super good spaghetti with seafood and spaghetti with octopus, excellent fried calamari, prawns and octopus and concluded with a waffle filled with exceptional Chantilly cream and strawberries, all accompanied by a good white wine from Elba. Excellent value for money. The staff was super kind and welcoming, also considering that it was the last day of opening at the end of an entire season, which was not at all a given. The rest was given by the sun, the sea and the beach loungers, on which they kindly made us sit at the end of lunch to end a day in absolute relaxation! 😎 We will definitely be back! Thank you! 🤩

Il prezzo è idoneo al buon cibo che viene portato in tavola. Consiglio: insalata di mare freddo, bavette alle vongole e pecorino sardo, frittura di pesce e verdurine. E ultimo, ma non ultimo, il tiramisù rivisitato.

27/03/2025: You can eat excellent fish in Florence too! Place in the heart of the city, intimate, welcoming and well looked after. We were welcomed by Giuseppe, an excellent host, hospitable and friendly who was able to guide us in choosing the dishes and wine (all very inviting!) We started with a glass of Sauvignon and a mix of starters: the fried baby octopus with braised onions and the cod meatballs were sublime! Followed by paccheri with pistachio pesto, dried tomatoes and amberjack and sliced ​​tuna in a pistachio crust: two masterpieces! The fish was fresh and of excellent quality, each bite was a wave of delicate and well-balanced aromas and flavours, the original and elegant plating gave added value to the dishes. Also noteworthy are the two cheesecakes with which we concluded the dinner. Unfortunately, the photos do not do justice to an experience that exceeded all our expectations. After several days in Rome, Venice, and Florence (where we eat a lot of pasta), I have to say it's without a doubt the best pasta I've ever eaten. For flavor, texture, innovation, and presentation, it deserves a 10. We arrived before our reservation time, and Giuseppe was kind enough to bring us two glasses of wine while we waited—details that make all the difference with the friendly and approachable service. A cozy place with excellent value for money. Without a doubt, the best restaurant we've been to in Italy!

22/03/2025: We had dinner at this restaurant because we were given a Smartbox gift box, it seemed to us the most interesting restaurant in the area to try. We didn't have great expectations because we are not fans of this type of gift box, instead we had to change our minds. It was a pleasant discovery, the smartbox includes 3 courses (appetizer + first course + dessert) and also includes amous bouche, pre-dessert, small pastries, we didn't think so and it was pleasant. The dishes were delicious, the ingredients were quality and with perfect combinations. The staff was kind and the service was fast. The location is more like a wine shop than a restaurant, but still pleasant. We will definitely return to try the à la carte menu or the tasting menu.
