12/08/2024: Superb experience. We opted for the bistecca alla fiorentina with accompaniments. The meat was very well cooked. The recommended wine was very good and quite inexpensive (28€). The boss was very nice! Great experience!

26/07/2024: This place is just cool. Everyone who works here is kind, knowledgeable, and fun. The environment is cosy, welcoming, and easy. While visiting Florence recently, we happened upon this establishment. Tables and stools were set out on the street to allow people to congregate in the open air with their drinks. This offered a bit of a block-party vibe! We mingled with many locals and tried (and sometimes failed) expressing ourselves in Italian. Everyone was gracious, accommodating, and warm. They have a wide selection of craft beers, and they know what's good!

04/08/2024: Very good restaurant which serves homemade dishes at attractive prices. It is a little away from the crowds which is a big advantage, plus there are quite intimate terraces on the street. The service is OK, it just lacks a little enthusiasm. Otherwise it's a good address.

26/08/2024: nel chianti si ha sempre timore di trovare le classiche trappole per turisti, con scarsa qualità e prezzi alti (tanto chi li rivede più) ... non è il caso di questo ristorante. Pranzo agostano in famiglia, unici italiani del locale ... trattamento semplicemente fantastico ... i pici all'aglione, piatto semplice ma realizzato in modo divino, a seguire fegatelli realizzati dal cuoco, tra i migliori mai assaggiati, i prezzi sono più che onesti anche per la lista dei vini, la location è molto piacevole sopratutto il giardino interno, il servizio gentile ... che dire ... bravi e continuate cosi ... se posso tornerò presto.

13/08/2024: The place is modest and welcoming, just how I like it. The pizzas and first courses were really good but please, please put at least 80g more pasta in the pici all'aglione, I finished the dish in three forkfuls!

23/08/2024: Abbiamo mangiato in questo piccolo locale nel centro di Piombino (appena fuori dalla via principale) ieri sera e sono rimasta davvero colpita. Piatti eccellenti a un prezzo onesto (ormai un miraggio quasi ovunque altrove), in aggiunta a un servizio rapido e accogliente. L’ho già consigliato a tutti, e sicuramente tornerò anche io. Bravissimi!

15/08/2024: Excellent and abundant Assunta lunch with local home cooking. Everything was excellent from starters to desserts. We will still enjoy what we didn't manage to finish for dinner. Excellent place, not exactly touristy but where it is absolutely worth stopping.
