03/05/2026: We started off a bit stiff, but we changed our minds thanks to the great attention and professionalism shown later. We ordered three T-bone steaks: truly excellent meat and cooked to perfection. The baked potatoes and delicate beans were also very good. The cecine pasta as an appetizer is a must! We paired it all with a very respectable house red wine. They also offered a vegetarian/vegan option with a very good tomato pasta dish. Excellent value: the final bill was very reasonable for us (about €150 total). I'd say it was all good, recommended!
03/05/2026: Excellent menu. Quality food, excellent service. For seafood lovers, I recommend the fried shrimp, calamari, and vegetables. But overall, everything was delicious.

What really makes the difference, however, is the staff: friendly, smiling, and always available, capable of making you feel at home.
A must-visit for all lovers of Indian cuisine.

09/04/2026: During a work trip in Florence, we stopped here for lunch (my birthday lunch!). Everything was more than delicious, from appetizers to main courses (in our case vegetarian). The Malai Kofta, naans, rice, lassi were all exceptional! Will definitely come back and recommend to everyone that enjoys a good Indian cuisine. The waiters were so kind to offer me a little birthday dessert for free, with candles and music 💛 unforgettable, thank you again!

22/05/2026: Wow - this the best dinner we have had so far in Italy. I had the lasagna which was very delicious, however, my wife had the Gnocchi and it’s the best gnocchi i have ever had. The staff is also very helpful and attentive. I recommend getting a reservation because it can get full. Highly recommend!!

03/05/2026: We decided to celebrate my daughter's birthday here. It was a surprise, and the restaurant even prepared a bouquet of flowers for dessert, along with a beautifully presented plating. The Fiorentina steak was described as one of the best we've ever tasted. The plating, quantities, and flavors of all the dishes truly delighted us. Dogs are welcome. The staff is always ready to make guests feel comfortable. For five of us, we spent €318. For those who prefer, they even have a private room with a dedicated waiter. For those who smoke at the entrance, there's a corridor room with covered sofas. There's a doggie bar just outside the door.

07/05/2026: My favorite restaurant for dinner in Lucca. Tuscan beef and the most amazing spaghetti with raw shrimp that cook in the heat of the pasta are my first choices. Gracious staff and creative recipes prepared perfectly in a beautiful setting are what distinguish Osteria Nova from my other top picks in Lucca.
03/05/2026: We had a fantastic evening at Osteria Nova, where modern Italian cuisine truly shines. The “Bistecca alla Fiorentina” was a standout—perfectly cooked and full of flavor.
The service was exceptional! The young, friendly staff were attentive, making us feel right at home. The pasta dishes were beautifully crafted, and the wine selection complemented everything perfectly. To top it all off, the mousse au chocolat was a delightful indulgence.
With its lovely atmosphere, Osteria Nova is a gem. We highly recommend it for an enjoyable dining experience that we can’t wait to repeat! 🍷✨

26/04/2026: I only knew this restaurant by name, and mostly for its seafood. Excellent food (fish, of course), generous portions, excellent customer service, and a more than reasonable price. The only downside, but this is where parents come into play, was the proximity of a child who had been screaming all evening. Otherwise, a well-deserved 5 stars.

14/05/2026: An absolute gem. Small, family owned and operated. Maria is the incredible talent in the kitchen, while Marcello literally runs the whole front of the house….by himself! Service is flawless and on point. Absolutely amazed by the energy and kindness of this man.
The food was so good we came back again. Everything we tried was exceptional.

If I had to give advice to the owners of this place, I'd suggest they do some soundproofing, because the place is a bit too noisy and you end up hearing what's happening at other tables without wanting to.
23/04/2026: Always number one. Since they opened, now almost 12 years ago, I've always enjoyed going there, and aside from a slight downturn during one period, I've never been disappointed. They're good, kind, and always honest. I've received discounts on the final price several times.
An honest way of doing business that people rightly appreciate, and the results are evident; the dining room is often full, so it's best to book a few days in advance.

05/05/2026: This restaurant is excellent for pizza, and the prices are very reasonable. The Margherita is 8 euros, and the staff are extremely polite, friendly, and professional. They also serve seafood; I tried the shrimp and fried calamari, which were both excellent.
04/05/2026: I went there because it was close to the hotel.
I had a reservation, but it was still available around 7:15 PM.
For a starter, I had fried sardines, followed by linguine with bottarga (cured fish roe pasta).
I'm embarrassed to admit it, but it was my first time trying bottarga pasta, and I was surprised at how delicious it was. It's added another option to my list of Italian food choices for the future.
Although my Italian is terrible, I managed to order in English, and the staff were very helpful, making for a very pleasant meal.

07/04/2026: Il Boschetto di Chianni is a complete success! The food is exactly what you'd expect from authentic Italian cuisine. On top of that, the service is exceptionally friendly; both the staff and the owner are warm, attentive, and always ready to help. Highly recommended!
Everything we ate was a 10/10, especially the beef fillet and the pizzas.
05/04/2026: Beautiful setting, with just a few tables for attentive service, a good wine list, a pleasant and relaxing atmosphere, an outdoor space in the woods with a children's play area, excellent quality, cooking, and plating, and friendly staff despite the busy Easter Sunday!
