01/04/2025: Tutti i piatti proposti dal pecorino fritto all'ossobuco al pancino di maiale sono stati un grande trionfo di sapori. A questo aggiungerei la cortesia del personale con Barbara che ci ha letteralmente coccolati con consigli corretti conditi da grande simpatia. Il proprietario poi ci ha leggermente ritoccato il conto e ci ha fatto concludere con cantuccini e vin santo. Ristorante eccezionale

28/03/2025: Passing through Tuscany we decided on advice to stop for dinner. Much more restaurant than trattoria, both for the environment and for the type of menu. Few first courses but a wide choice of steaks, the reason why we went. Different meats with different costs but absolutely correct and adequate for the quality. The service although impeccable and attentive, in my opinion lacks a smile and a little pampering towards the customer.

25/03/2025: Locale dove il pesce "pescato" fresco la fa da padrone. Cucinato con sapienza non delude mai. Il rapporto prezzo/qualita' vi stupira'. Da quando l'ho scoperto non l'ho piu' lasciato.

23/03/2025: Cibo di buona qualità, posizione buona per una passeggiata sul lungomare ma decisamente troppo lenti. Siamo entrati alle 13 ed alle 15 abbiamo ricevuto il secondo. Ci hanno avvertito che le scelte di piatti diversi avrebbe allungato i tempi ma un pranzo di due portate ciascuno in oltre 2 ore è troppo.

11/04/2025: Good welcome, too bad the cook keeps complaining in front of our table. Our child's pizza was forgotten when it arrived at the table Our meat dishes and fries were cold so we wanted to eat all 3 of them at the same time. They still offered us the digestive.

09/04/2025: We went with the hopes of eating a delicious Tuscan steak, our reservation time was 20.15. We placed our order at 20.20. 1 kg T-bone arrived at 21.20, weighing 1.4 kg (we learned this on our receipt when making payment). Where did you see that it took 1 hour and 5 minutes for medium-rare meat? The taste was average, the nerves of the meat were not cleaned enough and the outside was quite hard. We added it to the list as a bad experience. We paid 168 euros at the restaurant we chose based on previous comments. However, the service we received was not even worth 60 euros.

05/04/2025: In Florence, or other famous cities, I don't trust places way out in the open, with tourists reading the menu and saying "okay." I seek out local gems that are uniquely interesting, not just in their offerings of food, but in their heart and personality and the overall vibe. This was an outstanding dinner, one of the highlights of the week. To start, my wife had an incredible, simple salad of artichoke, lemon and parmesan that I picked at. She followed that up with orecchiette with slightly spicy turnip tops, and I had an incredibly delicious sirloin steak paired with Marco's recommended Montepulciano. Most importantly, after a mere couple of minutes, Marco and Damiano and Irena treated us like friends, even family. I will never forget these beautiful people and the special, love-filled food they made for us. All of it more than fairly-priced, too! Cannot recommend this place enough!!

05/04/2025: The dog here is delicious. The portions are small, so I think it would be good to order three. Be sure to drink wine as well. Ask if there is anything made at home. It seems like everything is homemade.

31/01/2025: Well my opinion is a bit biased because I am the sister of one of the owners. In any case, there is no doubt that it is one of the nicest places in the country, with attention to detail, excellent quality food and loving staff! Highly recommended for a good breakfast, a delicious lunch or a cozy aperitif. Wheelchair accessible.
