14/08/2025: Typical Mexican restaurant in the center of Florence, offering tacos, burritos, and excellent artisanal tortillas with a variety of toppings. The prices are moderately high, but the quality is excellent. The staff is very friendly, especially the owner!

02/09/2025: Visited in March 2013 — Giovanni himself greeted me at the door and took my early booking with warmth. This is a family affair (his brother runs Il Latini around the corner, and their father’s portrait watches from the wall), with much of the produce coming from nearby farms. Antipasti were a highlight: varied prosciutti, finocchiona, and fresh ricotta (9.0–9.5/10). Crostini with liver patè and lardo captured Florence’s cucina povera at its best. Off-menu baccalà alla fiorentina with beans was hearty if slightly oversalted (8/10). Pear and pecorino tortelli were rich, lifted by leeks and almonds (8/10). Desserts like panna cotta with strawberries and cantuccini were competent closers. Service was attentive and genuinely hospitable throughout. Bookings are essential, and it’s clear why: this osteria balances tradition, quality, and welcome in equal measure.

29/08/2025: Amazing experience! The staff were so friendly and attentive, service was super fast, and the food was delicious. We shared a pasta and they kindly split it into two plates, which was such a nice touch. The steak was incredible and we were so full, but they still surprised us with sorbet and cookies. Truly one of the best meals we had in Italy!

11/09/2025: Excellent restaurant in the center of Florence, just steps from the San Lorenzo market. The kitchen offers an interesting menu with traditional and more unique dishes, all made with seasonal, top-quality ingredients. The chef's dishes are served with care and passion! All the dishes were delicious. Welcoming atmosphere, impeccable service, and a huge thank you to Dario and Chiara!

09/09/2025: Mutton Peshawar was rich and flavorful! The cream, curd, dry fruits, and cashew powder created a luxurious gravy. The mutton was tender and the sauce had a beautiful nutty sweetness. Royal Mughlai flavors executed perfectly.

03/09/2025: What can I say except that we have one of the best restaurants "of all time" here! The produce is fresh, the staff is very friendly, the dining room is simple and unpretentious, and above all, the cooking is incredibly masterful. The truffle pasta is sublime, and the beef tagliata with Parmesan and arugula is to die for! As for the wine list, it offers some truly wonderful dishes! There's no doubt we'll be dining here again when we return to Florence.

08/09/2025: The staff was very friendly and attentive, even down to the smallest details (they even left a plastic cup and a small fork for our little girl without us having to ask). We had tortelli lucchesi, a beef fillet, and two desserts. The tortelli were very good and flavorful. The fillet was very tender, and the meat was excellent. The desserts were also good.

29/08/2025: We dined in the dining room. They served excellent schiacciatine, a first course of tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms, and baked potatoes. All accompanied by excellent local wine.
