You are guaranteed to enjoy yourself here. It started with the already great Valdobbiadene. The food is great, the service is nice and fast, the wine selection is also good. Wife had ossobuco and I had lamb chops in pistachio dust. (However, they are not on the permanent menu.) And watch out! For the first time since I learned how to make tiramisu according to Emanuele Ridi, the woman stated that they have almost as good here. Specifically, that she is personally a bit disturbed by the fact that they have pieces of chocolate there. Otherwise it's perfect. We had a great Brunello Di Montalcino for the main course. We were disturbed only by the frequent bangs from the closing doors. They don't have that very well resolved.

The staff were so welcoming and accomodating of us turning up bang on opening time with a toddler in tow (even though I am pretty sure they were just sitting down for their staff meal). Wonderful service and beautiful food. The osso bucco and risotto was lovely and my husband really enjoyed the chef’s Florentine steak and potatoes.

Everything is excellent, starting from the owners, the service, the waiters and waitresses, it feels like a very familiar place. Not to mention the food was excellent, everything we tried, we spent three consecutive days trying all the dishes... And we couldn't do it logically... Congratulations, congratulations again, congratulations, keep going!

Delicious Florentine steak, intimate atmosphere. Most of the guests were local residents, which proves the quality of the place. I recommend.

Andati per cena a San Valentino, il locale è molto caratteristico, cucina toscana e vini molto molto buoni. Il Peposo BUONISSIMO! Ho apprezzato molto l'ambiente elegante ma non troppo, la gentilezza dello staff e il tocco in più: musica anni 80 in sottofondo ad un volume perfetto. Abbiamo passato davvero una bellissima serata.

Veramente una bella scoperta grazie al suggerimento di un'amica, spero di avere la possibilità di tornare in futuro... Cibo ottimo, posizione invidiabile e ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo! Cosa volere di più?

We didn’t expect this over here, looking like the inner court of a large house/small farm. Limited but excellent menu. The liver was just great. Good service as well, it just took some time (which was OK)

05/04/2024: This year is our 3rd time going! And then three days in a row. We like that Dario is always present, willing to take a picture with everyone. 2020 was the first time we've been and the prices and menu are still the same! Great that it is possible! First of all, the tartare is delicious! All other pieces of meat in between too. Finally, the Florentine steak is also delicious! It is true that sometimes you get a piece of meat that is a bit hard due to the BBQ or a piece with too much fat, but then you can say this and ask for another piece of meat. You will be nice and full at the end of the evening! You know half the table and without you knowing it the bottles of wine are gone!
04/04/2024: Needless to say: booking a lunch or dinner here is truly an experience. And if it is true that today it is also a great commercial marketing operation, the food (especially the meat) is superlative, whatever menu you choose. The atmosphere is always joyful, and Cecchini himself takes care to greet all the guests. The staff is attentive and thoughtful. Reservation essential.
