10/03/2026: The restaurant is located in Castelvecchio, in the Valleriana above Pescia, right next to the parish church in a beautiful location, overlooking the valley and offering outdoor seating on the terrace on nice days. Traditional Tuscan cuisine, generous portions. The pappardelle with wild boar, the homemade pasta dishes, and the Tuscan tripe are excellent. The pizza, cooked in a wood-fired oven, is very good. The tagliata and wild boar with olives are also excellent. The service is fast, although the place can sometimes get crowded; reservations are recommended. Convenient parking in front. Suitable for families, couples, and groups. I would gladly return.

The cuisine is local yet refined: you can sense a careful selection of ingredients, many of which come from their family farm. The owner is very friendly and accompanies the experience with excellent storytelling about Volterra. Recommended!

08/04/2026: This restaurant was meant to be! It's a true culinary experience, not only for vegans and vegetarians but also for those following other diets! Vegan Italian food is a real discovery; everything is cooked with refined techniques using local ingredients. The dishes are stunning, both in terms of texture and taste. The welcome is warm; this couple loves what they do, and it shows! Finally, the decor is incredible, with a glass floor above ancient Etruscan ruins.

01/04/2026: Excellent food, a relaxed atmosphere, and friendly staff. The portions aren't large, but they're excellent. Try the black truffle tartare and the soups, which are both delicious and unique. The prices are a bit high for some dishes, but the experience is definitely positive.

The owner and all the staff were always kind, welcoming, and helpful, making us feel at ease right away. The real highlight is undoubtedly the food: the quality is excellent, and the meat is simply delicious, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. The attention to detail in selecting the ingredients is clearly evident. A place I definitely recommend, whether for a lunch with friends or for anyone looking for quality and courtesy. 11/04/2026: If you want to eat something truly special, this shack is a must-see. Here, the lampredotto isn't just food: it's an experience. Soft, flavorful, perfectly cooked, and served with that green sauce that makes you want more. The tripe is simply spectacular: rich, fragrant, and with a flavor that speaks of true tradition, made with care and passion. And then the boiled meat... incredible. Tender, juicy, and full of flavor, the kind that makes you close your eyes at the first bite. Each dish is prepared with care, and it shows: here, they don't mess around, they really eat.

08/04/2026: Incredible experience! The restaurant is in the Michelin guide, but it doesn't have any stars yet; however, it's certainly only a matter of time before it gets one. Amazing atmosphere, impeccable service, and wonderful food. I highly recommend it!

22/03/2026: Make reservations, especially on weekends. There are only a few tables and the place is small, quaint, and therefore unconventional. The menu includes traditional dishes, well-prepared and reasonably priced. Ideal for couples.

19/11/2025: High-quality artisanal gelato Dark, Malaga, hazelnut, amaretto, coffee, not to mention the Pan co Santi flavor in October... I can't wait for spring to come and try this delicacy. And the owners are incredibly kind. The best of the best in Siena. Try it and believe it!

12/04/2026: I had the wild boar, a standard dish, very dry, and a portion fit for a small bird. I don't think I'll go back.

31/03/2026: Visually, the place looked very authentic, but unfortunately, that's the only plus. Guests' preferences are irrelevant here. I asked for a Filetto al Brunello di Montalcino and specified that I wanted it well done. The waiter nodded and said it was perfect. But when the meat arrived, it was completely raw and rare inside, not even medium. I told the waiter that this wasn't the doneness I'd ordered, to which he responded with a "stunning" response: it was impossible to cook this steak well done. Why he hadn't told me this up front remains a mystery. He suggested I cut it into pieces and have it cooked that way. I agreed, happy that I'd finally get what I'd ordered, but disappointment awaited me here too. When they brought my dish again, the slices were cooked a bit more well done, right at medium. But still not well done. I didn't have the energy to argue anymore, and I was too hungry, so I ate them, but I'll be honest, I think this kind of service is disgusting. If a chef's morals, religion, or any other reason prevent him from preparing the meat the way a customer requests, they should at least warn them in advance (although I can't imagine why it's impossible to cook the meat properly; that's the bare minimum). I was angry, my impressions were completely negative, and I didn't enjoy the food at all.

06/03/2026: We were staying in Stada at a farmhouse down the road about 2 minutes away. This restaurant is beautiful inside and out. The food is very nice and the service is professional. We liked it so much that we went back on our last evening in the area. The peposo is wonderful!!!
