Ballerini was a great finding on our way to the train station. I am glad we did not have breakfast in our hotel. The food is fresh and delicious. The pomodoro panini with focaccia bread is a must. And the pastries….it is hard to decide which one to take. The staff is very friendly and the place is very affordable. After finding this place, we came back for breakfast every day! 🫶🏼 Highly recommend this gem.

The staff were very kind to me, even though I can barely speak Italian. It's a place with a lot of locals, and it's a little far from the tourist areas, so you can spend a relaxing time there. And best of all, the brioche is delicious!

The coffee and croissants are really nice, but not the best I've ever had. Overall, though, the price-performance ratio is unbeatable! The staff are really nice, and it's one of the best "breakfast" experiences I've had.

Very good food, took one star off because they do not serve real coffee, but Nespresso. Personnel not very friendly, they sometimes ignore you. We did come back because the food really is very good and the have a cosy little terrace on the street.

05/05/2026: Great place to have lunch in the city center! Delicious food, friendly service. View of the square. I recommend!
20/04/2026: The best restaurant of our Florentine stay, and that's saying something. Located on Piazza della Signoria with a view of the Palazzo Vecchio, the restaurant boasts an ideal location: right on the square yet slightly removed from the crowds. You can enjoy the setting without any of the drawbacks. Attentive service and delicious dishes. The bill reflects the quality, of course, but so does the price. We left without the slightest regret. Special mention goes to the fried artichokes served alongside: an absolute delight, worth the trip alone. It's surprising that Ristorante Frescobaldi Firenze's Google rating doesn't better reflect this level of excellence.

22/05/2026: Aperol €7 is a bit steep, but apparently reasonable for Florence. The waitress was very friendly and the atmosphere was lovely. Unfortunately, there was a small mishap when we paid, but it was rectified after we mentioned it.
20/05/2026: Wonderful bar with great staff and very good caffe, cocktails & wine. Highly recommend! Beautiful outdoor atmosphere:)
