We stopped by to sit outside and taste some Montepulciano wines. They have a nice selection and we enjoyed our brief stop .

Wow. We had an amazing dinner here with great gluten free pici pasta. Service was outstanding also. Would definitely recommend this place, it was a highlight of our Italy trip.

We stopped by a couple of times for a drink over this past week, whilst visiting Montepulciano, and received such friendly and warm treatment from the staff. A special shoutout to Antonella who made both our visits wonderful.

Great food, great service. Not your ordinary primi and secondo you will find so often. We loved their approach to giving a nice twist to the traditional ingredients and turning them into delicous plates. Also the dolce were so nice we could not get enough.

We went in for wine only, but Lorenzo took excellent care of us. This is a beautiful location, with a great wine selection and wonderful atmosphere. Don’t forget to keep going down each consecutive set of stairs as the space continues to open up the deeper you go.

The best tiramisu I've ever had. Great fried food. I didn't like the local beer. Price is fair for the quality.

The restaurant was very elegant and refined, and the bread was excellent! I even ordered an extra portion. They also provided appetizers and desserts, just like a Michelin-starred restaurant. The seafood salad, chianina beef sauce pasta, and spikela we ordered were all delicious! The food was superb, and the wine was excellent too. However: the restaurant was excessively quiet, and the staff seemed to be deliberately creating this atmosphere, which I felt was a bit over the top. One staff member (who looked somewhat like a mixed-race Asian) even came over and intentionally reminded us to keep our mouths shut and not make noise that would disturb other guests! After that, we became very careful with our words, almost whispering as we chatted. I felt this reminder was very impolite, and thankfully my guests didn't understand Italian, otherwise they would have felt very insulted. Everyone's eating habits are different from childhood. In Montepulciano, you'll encounter tourists from all over the world. If you go to Japan or China, they might intentionally slurp their noodles. The restaurant should turn up the background music instead of letting the atmosphere become so chillingly quiet!

We went straight to try the bistecca alla fiorentina and it didn't disappoint. Very good, with a great wine list. Plus, once the meat is served, they bring it to you on a hot stone so you can add your own touch or keep it warm.
