20/07/2026: My ragu tasted like boring lasagna; I can cook better at home. At these prices, that shouldn't happen. There were restaurants nearby that were significantly better for less money. The restrooms were also very worn.

16/07/2026: Very good food, and the menu offers a good mix of local products and a few innovative touches. Good off-menu options and a wide variety of fish and meat options. Excellent wine selection, including good wines by the glass. The atmosphere is pleasant for couples or groups of four, and the service is kind and friendly. As is often the case in Italy, a few things add to the already high price: filtered water is €4 a bottle, and the cover charge has now risen to €4 per person.

02/07/2026: Two weeks ago, we had the most wonderful evening with excellent food, perfect service, and a beautiful sunset view! We booked here on a recommendation. The drive through the mountainous landscape was exciting, and we were initially unsure if we were in the right place, but upon entering the unassuming house, we were warmly greeted by Giuseppe himself and shown to a lovely table on the balcony. He cooked the meal himself, and we were looked after by him and a friendly server. We hadn't seen the menu beforehand, so we left sight unseen and weren't disappointed: everything was presented with meticulous attention to detail and tasted absolutely delicious! There were always more little surprises, and at the end, we had a pleasant chat with Giuseppe. Thank you so much for the wonderful evening; if we're ever in the area again, we'll definitely be back!

25/05/2026: If all of Castelbuono is talking about Fiasconaro, you have to change the subject and stop at Palazzaccio, a completely renovated restaurant with friendly service and quality cuisine made with excellent ingredients! Almost everything is homemade... a relaxing lunch or dinner without going overboard. Typical local cuisine that aims to give you a different experience. They've succeeded! Fairly priced!

17/05/2026: This one deserves all the credit - the welcome, the food, the value for money - all excellent. We came in early for Saturday, the chef himself welcomed us in, we had a tour of the kitchen and in general had a great experience. The tasting appetizer menu of six dishes, the lamb chops and the suckling pig were freshly made and excellent. So was the dessert. The restaurant filled up by 9:30pm, while we came in at 7:30pm. We'll, the Michellin listing is well deserved.

07/07/2026: I was disappointed with my experience here. I ordered a glass of white wine without checking the menu first. When the bill arrived, I was surprised to see that I had been charged **€8 for a single glass**, which is considerably more than what I've paid at other restaurants in Palermo and elsewhere in Italy, where a similar glass is usually around €4–€5. When I politely questioned the price, instead of receiving an explanation, the waiter simply told me that there were other restaurants I could go to. I found this response dismissive and unprofessional. For me, the issue is not only the price but the way the situation was handled. Good customer service matters, especially when a customer raises a legitimate question. As a woman traveling alone, I couldn't help but wonder whether I was treated this way because I was a tourist. I hope that wasn't the case, but the experience certainly left me with that impression. I've attached a copy of the receipt and photos so others can make their own judgement. 09/06/2026: We stumbled upon this place by chance, drawn by the music and atmosphere as we walked by. We ordered a mozzarella and tomato crudo sandwich, a beer, and an Aperol. Nothing disappointed us, and as a non-beer drinker, the bartender took excellent care of me, helping me choose the perfect beer for me.

12/03/2026: A pleasant discovery! We were celebrating a graduation. I contacted the owner, explaining that we weren't local and would have to arrange everything over the phone. He was extremely helpful and courteous. We agreed on the menu, and he designed the cake, which was delicious, as were the rest of the dishes. The service was impeccable and courteous. We felt truly pampered. Well done!

It's the best place we've eaten in the whole city, and the service was incredibly attentive and helpful, always with a smile. I 100% recommend the Sicilian pesto with eggplant. Amazing.
