My absolute favorite in Palermo. Simple, authentic cuisine of the best kind, exactly what we'd been looking for. Simple ambiance. The surroundings are so-so. The food is among the three best I've had in Sicily so far. The pasta was fantastic, perfectly al dente, and everything tasted absolutely amazing. And the delicious food more than makes up for the less-than-ideal location. It seems completely authentic. If this restaurant were in our hometown, I'd probably eat there once a week. We came back here after four years and specifically sought out this trattoria. We're going back again today. Regarding the other negative reviews: our server was very friendly. The regular portions were large, plenty big enough for us. We didn't order a set menu where the individual portions seemed smaller. The cover charge (coperto) for bread is standard in Italy. Tipping isn't customary, but that shouldn't be a problem if it's politely declined.

You eat well at a fair price. Excellent fish and friendly service. Recommended.

If you're looking for a really good restaurant without having to go to Palermo's pedestrian street, I recommend this trattoria. It's incredibly good and very inexpensive. A pasta and grilled meat appetizer buffet with a large beer and a Sprite cost €32 for two. We went twice. Thanks to the very friendly service as well.

I discovered a really lovely place where you can eat delicious homemade food at very reasonable prices. The welcome was very friendly, the waiter was very kind and gave great advice on what to order, and the chef even offered us a plate of fettuccine alla francesca that was absolutely delicious! Typical Sicilian hospitality! Thank you!
