14/02/2026: If you're a tourist with culinary expertise, skip this experience. The food is decent, nothing special, with long waits between courses and very small portions for the price. Regarding the service, they made a mistake; we had a reservation and went outside, and then they came to find us. They corrected it, and we decided to give it a chance. The atmosphere was very cold and austere, which is perhaps the area where they need to improve significantly. What really disappointed us were the excessively expensive and unreasonable drink prices. A glass of wine that was quite bad cost 8 euros, and two beers 10 euros. As a customer, I felt like I was being ripped off, and I wouldn't recommend it for that reason. You leave with the unpleasant feeling of having been cheated.

11/02/2026: I finally found a restaurant that wasn't too salty. It was day four of my trip to Sicily. Almost all the restaurants were salty. This place had a good balance of flavor and was absolutely delicious. The bread was warm and delicious, which was nice. The squid ink appetizer was especially delicious! I really want to eat this again. The shrimp tomato pasta with bisque had a sauce that seemed to contain shrimp head guts. It was rich and delicious. I usually don't like overly rich foods like shrimp, crab guts, and sea urchin, but the balance was perfect, so it didn't feel greasy. Plus, the wine paired with it was refreshing and delicious, which paired well with the seafood! However, the ragu sauce pasta was average. I'd love to try other dishes, but my Palermo itinerary is over now. I'll visit next time.

09/03/2026: While searching for a good pasta with sardines, Palermo-style, we found a delicious one! The sardine meatballs were fantastic! The baked anelletti were good, although they lacked a bit of firmness and crunchiness. The service was top-notch, except for one of them with a few shortcomings (not serving the woman first or not clearing away used dishes). The atmosphere was beautiful and relaxing, with the right background music. Highly recommended!!! It's a shame to leave Palermo. I'll miss it.

30/01/2026: Aside from the owner, Ciccio, who is truly the best, you can sit down and enjoy a wide selection of beers (including craft and international ones) and drinks that much more "renowned and tischi tosco" establishments don't have. If that's not enough, you can eat while you drink, with sandwiches, antipasti, burgers, piadinas, and even desserts. Located right in the heart of Palermo's nightlife, it's a hit with tourists and locals alike.

02/01/2026: Great experience, clean place with a nice atmosphere. I went with some friends and we ordered a burger with caramelized onions... VERY GOOD. The service was top-notch; the blonde girl who served us was incredibly kind and friendly. ✨

17/11/2025: We had a fabulous day touring and enjoying a cooking class in the comfort and gracious hospitality of Patricia’s beautiful home. It was the most delicious meal I had had in Italy to that point, as she sets a high standard to match👍🏼👍🏼 . I would highly recommend anyone take advantage of the opportunity to spend time with her and enjoy her culinary talents! 💕

15/03/2026: At Mafone's table that evening among simple dishes that tasted of the sea and of home. The bruschetta shone like little islands of warm bread crostini with baby clams and sea urchins, the salty flavor that spoke of the shore and the fishermen's dawn. A friend shouted poetry, poetry, then the steaming pasta, embraced with cuttlefish, octopus, and calamari, an intertwining of the sea and expert hands that transformed a Saturday evening into a small celebration. The glasses mingled softly, with the sparkling wine that tingled the tongue like a sudden laugh. And around the warmth of friends, that doesn't need great words just a toast, a knowing look, the breaking of bread together. Thus the evening passed slowly, among the scents of the sea and the cuisine, and the tavern became a port, to return to with the hunger of the heart and the joy of sharing. 🍷🌊 Daniela LoRito

22/09/2025: I've been here several times. Always very good, simple local cuisine, and the staff are very friendly. I recommend it to everyone. P.S. Park wherever you can and walk to the restaurant to avoid problems. A walk back after a large meal will do you good. While waiting for your food, there's a butcher shop next door that sells excellent raw sausages.

19/11/2025: An exceptional restaurant in the heart of Palermo. It offers refined cuisine in an intimate and welcoming atmosphere, ideal for a romantic evening or dinner with friends and family. The staff is extremely friendly, helpful, and attentive to every request. The cuisine is an explosion of delicious flavors.
