06/05/2026: A wonderful experience in a refined setting. My wife and I had lunch there a few days ago. The food was very good and carefully prepared. The kindness and friendliness were abundant and natural, a rarity. If we return to Monreale, we'll definitely visit you again.

02/05/2026: We went to Taverna del Pavone and had a truly wonderful time. The atmosphere was pleasant, and the food was satisfying from start to finish. We tried a seafood pasta dish and a pasta alla Norma, both excellent: flavorful, well-prepared, and made with quality ingredients. The appetizers were also very good, as were the desserts. In particular, the cassata was very fresh, delicate, and truly delightful; the chocolate dessert was also delicious. Overall, it was a lovely experience, with carefully prepared dishes and excellent service. Our only small suggestion is to slightly expand the gin selection on the menu and, perhaps, serve the tonic water separately, so each customer can adjust it to their own taste. Otherwise, absolutely recommended!

09/04/2026: I miss the food on paca street but I don't miss that young girl handling my money and then grabbing my bread with the same hands no gloves and smashing the bread down putting all that filth for my money and my bread they probably don't care what she usually don't it's just plain old dirty when you look at the surface dirty but no one paid that any attention because the food is excellent just the health standards are not there the lex mkt stand has the best pizza around

04/05/2026: This pizzeria is highly recommended. Located just outside the busiest part of the center and with a pleasant terrace in one of Monreale's typical narrow streets. We received good service and the pizza dough was of good quality. We also tried the fried calzone, which was very tasty. The house blonde beer was also highly recommended. The prices are very reasonable for a location like this!

02/07/2026: A simple bakery that makes VERY good cuzato bread; the ricotta bread is also good. Very friendly. They also serve drinks. You can eat at a table in the square. RECOMMENDED!!!

26/07/2026: The pizzeria was way below expectations! The waiters were very kind and always available! The quality was really poor...the dough was made with grains and seeds, no comment, believe me! We paid a considerable amount for the quality offered. Aside from the fresh food...I personally won't go there again!!!

08/04/2026: After a long time, I stopped by this magical place again on Sunday, where I was once again enchanted by their special IRIS, just like when I was a child. Delicious, fresh, crunchy, and infinitely delicate, highly recommended and never disappointing, always warm and bursting with ricotta, with that contrasting flavor of chocolate chips. In short, a delight to eat right near the Monreale Cathedral. For me, this is the best, indeed, the true ORIGINAL IRISI.

07/07/2026: The ice creams are delicious and completely natural, especially the granitas. The service is great, although they do lack a restroom. But you can enjoy a great ice cream on their terrace; the flavor is fantastic. They have a huge variety of flavors, and you'll have a great time. 100% recommended, although, I repeat, they really need at least one restroom to wash your hands.

This experience fits perfectly into the breathtaking landscape, much like a tile in a Byzantine masterpiece's mosaic. I highly recommend booking a table on the small outdoor balcony to enjoy the same experience we did and make your visit to Monreale truly memorable! 20/07/2026: We arrived around 4:00 PM, and this was one of the few restaurants still serving food. The food was excellent (ordered meatrolls), the staff were kind, and both the view and the interior were absolutely beautiful. Highly recommended!

13/07/2026: I've eaten at Villa Mirto many times and have never been disappointed, so I decided to celebrate my graduation there, too, and I couldn't have made a better choice. For me, it's the place with the best quality/price ratio in the entire Monreale area and the surrounding area! The ladies who run it were incredibly kind, always available to accommodate any request I had in customizing the menu and organizing the dining room. They decorated it beautifully and were incredibly quick and efficient with the buffet, looking after me throughout the evening. It's a rustic place with a traditional feel, and the dining room we were in is surrounded by greenery. With a little updating and landscaping, it would be even more beautiful! Perfect for those looking for a rustic and charming place with excellent traditional Sicilian cuisine.

11/07/2026: Wonderful place, above all expectations, genuine food, delicious, staff very attentive to everything, but the wonderful thing is the attention they have for the animals, kept with love, care in everything, cleanliness, organization, everything impeccable, highly recommended both for the food and for experiencing a day with the family in total relaxation between nature and animals.

20/01/2026: A charming place that combines excellent traditional food with the chef's unique interpretations. The location is beautiful and well-kept. The owners are delightful people who strive to please their guests in every way. The maître d' is professional and attentive. What more can I say? If you want an elegant, romantic setting with excellent food, this is the place to go. I forgot to mention that it's a restaurant very suitable for large events. Everything will be perfect! We've tried it on several occasions (weddings, baptisms, and a 25th wedding anniversary).

04/07/2026: I've been to several events and highly recommend them. Excellent food, a great atmosphere, and helpful and friendly staff. My personal tip: take the road to Corso Calatafimi Alta, otherwise you risk taking too long and taking unpaved roads.
