20/10/2025: The pizza is excellent, and you won't encounter many tourists since it's located a bit outside the city. The ambiance is less pleasant than restaurants in the old town, but it's a very authentic place.

The only downside is the food portions... which I found a bit small. In my opinion, it needs revisiting. I plan to definitely return.

27/11/2025: A beautiful, photogenic artists' village (two streets🥰) where you can visit all six locations for just €6. There's a lovely terrace on the central square; restaurants don't open until 7 p.m., so we'll have to come back another evening.

22/11/2025: Good evening, let me start by saying that I ate WELL. I had a really good pizza. Light dough. Excellent toppings. I had a 4-cheese pizza with porcini mushrooms, truly delicious. My companions and I had 2 rustic local appetizers, of course. Then I had pizza, as did my wife. The others ordered a pasta dish and 2 grilled meats. Excellent ingredients here too. Calm and professional service. The girl who took our order was excellent, as was her colleague. Both, as they say: they were on point. They did their job very well. We will definitely be back, especially since we live not far from you. Thank you for the evening and I'm satisfied with this pleasant discovery. Keep up the good work. Bravo!

30/11/2025: Yesterday, I went to dinner at Baronia with my wife. The main room was occupied by a birthday party, so they seated us in the second room. Behind us was the DJ booth, hired by the birthday boy. At first, nothing unusual happened; the music was at an acceptable volume. But at a certain point, around 9:30 PM, they started the party, turning the music up to an unacceptable level: we couldn't talk to each other, and above all, it was quite harsh on our ears. We asked the waiter to turn it down, but nothing changed. Then we asked the owner/manager of the place, and again nothing changed. We quickly finished our pizzas and left. At the cashier, the owner quickly apologized, "but..." that "but" sounded as if she wasn't responsible or couldn't do anything about it, which is unacceptable because it means having first-class customers who deserve a certain level of service and second-class customers who can adapt to the circumstances. The evening was certainly not relaxing, but above all it was the owners' attitude, which was completely indifferent to the (second-class) customers, that made us unhappy and decided not to return.

28/11/2025: A historic, rustic, pleasant, clean, well-heated, and welcoming place! The food was incredibly plentiful, high-quality, and delicious, just like the owners, who welcomed us warmly and made us feel at home right away. They were courteous, attentive, and ready to satisfy our every desire. Ample parking, excellent value for money—in short, exceptional! We had a great time and will gladly return.

From the first visit, the farmhouse won us over with its authentic charm, spaces designed down to the smallest detail, and a warm and welcoming atmosphere that immediately puts us at ease. Every corner speaks of passion and dedication. But what makes this place truly special is the attention with which each guest is welcomed and pampered. A special thanks goes to the director, Francesco, who with great professionalism and availability guided us through every phase of the organization, turning our every dream into reality. Thanks to him, we felt at ease and confident that we were in good hands from the very first moment. A heartfelt thanks also goes to the maitre d', Giusy, who with her kindness, precision, and attentive eye oversaw every moment of the day, from the impeccable table settings to the perfect management of service times. Her presence truly made the difference, allowing us to experience our special day without a care in the world. Our guests were thrilled with both the high quality of the food and the service, always smiling and punctual. Many have told us they've rarely attended such a thoughtful and organized wedding, and much of the credit goes to the entire staff at this wonderful farmhouse. Thank you for giving us a memory we'll cherish forever. If you're looking for a venue that combines beauty, professionalism, and human warmth, I can't recommend this farmhouse highly enough: it will be the perfect setting for your special event.

02/11/2025: A dinner that was a journey through techniques, ingredients, and bubbles. I went to the MEC Restaurant in Palermo for an evening event: a four-handed dinner with Carmelo Trentacosti and chef Alessandro Mecca, paired with a selection of Steinbrück and Vieille France Champagnes. The museum-restaurant, housed in a historic building opposite the Cathedral, is where elegance is never ostentatious, but meticulously crafted. Soft lighting, minimal furnishings, and a suspended atmosphere leave room for the experience. The journey begins with "Pasta e tenerumi," but not as you'd expect: elegant, transformed comfort food. Then comes the reconstructed cherry tomato—a small work of art that looks like a fruit but actually encapsulates all of Sicily. Shrimp, cherry, and orange granita surprise you with their sweetness and acidity. Pane e ricci is like a salty caress. Then comes a beautiful and sublime tomato Bavarian cream with burrata and Aspra anchovies: precise, colorful, perfectly balanced. The buttered escalope from Mecca is a stylish exercise in simplicity, followed by the smoked mackerel fillet from Trentacosti, with saffron, sweet and sour onion, and caper powder: a real treat. Then comes the risotto with black lemon and bottarga: savory, creamy, elegant. The monkfish ossobuco is a second course disguised as seafood comfort food. The roast lamb closes the savory portion, before two desserts that compete in aesthetics and flavor: – a creamy and compact hazelnut cake – a cacio e pear tart with beetroot ice cream and fennel powder that stunned everyone (in a good way). The Champagnes were a perfect match: bubbles never intrusive, but present, accompanying each step with personality. And the final coffee? A single-origin Peruvian, perfectly roasted, with a clean finish. An unforgettable dinner. Not just for the menu, but for the entire setting. I was pampered, inspired, and felt part of something special. And in such a setting, everything seemed to make even more sense.
