31/03/2026: I found this place thanks to the reviews, and even though I don't eat sugar or gluten, I allowed myself to try the cannoli. They were indeed extremely sweet and satisfying, especially after climbing La Rocca, as a snack on the beach, or on the train to Palermo. So yes, I highly recommend this bakery for its quality and local atmosphere :)

01/06/2026: The raw materials used for the dishes are excellent, the atmosphere pleasant, and the staff courteous. Unfortunately, however, this all seems disproportionate when comparing some of the details of the location and the attention to detail in the dishes with the prices, which therefore seem excessive.
A major flaw is the wine list, characterized by exaggerated markups and the lack of service by the glass, a shortcoming that should be addressed today, given that effective technologies exist to better preserve opened bottles, allowing customers to enjoy them while respecting the alcohol limit for driving.
A good place, but one that still needs improvement.

19/05/2026: The ambiance is okay, the restrooms aren't up to Central European standards, but they're clean. The food was absolutely fantastic. The prices were fair. Overall, highly recommended for a good lunch, especially if you arrive by ship. It's a short walk from the port and not overrun with tourists. Authentic and delicious cuisine.

07/04/2026: For the meal you see in the picture: a small pasta, a small salad, some bread, a glass of wine and a digestif - I paid almost €50.
Nothing in the qaulity of the food justified such a rip-off.
With so many other great options in the area, you can easily find a better meal at a much better price. I'm not surprised there were only tourists in the restaurant at peak hour, and not a single Italian - and that the place was half-empty.

05/06/2026: The food was ok, but very overpriced. The sea urchin pasta was 20 euros and only had 4 pieces of sea urchin. The two people who worked here were sitting on the table right next to us and were smoking while being on their phone. It's a family owned restaurant so they were constantly fighting right next to us and it wasn't a pleasant experience. The dad is the only cook there so service was extremely slow, and when we wanted to pay the lady just pointed at the cashier and continued smoking. The waiter gave us attitude and wasn't very friendly either. The food was great, but the service was horrible.

18/05/2026: We booked here through The Fork and found a quiet, elegant atmosphere. The caponata was superb as an appetizer, followed by a plate of busiate pasta with swordfish and cherry tomatoes that was perfect. I was already full, but I still had room for dessert, as the atmosphere was so pleasant.

07/06/2026: On the second evening of our week-long trip to Palermo, we were approached about eating at this restaurant. And it was an absolute stroke of luck. The food was so fantastic that we ended up coming back every single night. Everything we tried was incredibly delicious. We even always got table number 15 with the sunshade, and my wife even got smaller portions.
If we ever come back to Palermo, we would definitely eat here again.
