18/05/2025: Trovato per caso, arancino sia al ragù che al formaggio molto buono , poi prese lasagne e cipolle fritte . Tutto molto buono. Ha solo 5/6 posti a sedere , è più d asporto ma molto buono ed economico . Lo consiglio .

After spending quite some time looking for a place that truly reflects the island’s essence, we were lucky to come across this beautiful gem. The ambiance, the flavors, and the use of traditional recipes all resonate deeply with the Sicilian landscape and the warm feeling you get while exploring its culture and nature. Every dish felt like a tribute to the region with fresh ingredients, rich flavors, and a simplicity that speaks volumes. You can taste the love and tradition behind every bite. It’s not just a meal, it’s a Sicilian experience. The staff was just as impressive. We were warmly welcomed and taken care of by Ganmoffo, what a genuinely kind and attentive person. His service added even more to the entire experience. Without a doubt, when we return to Sicily (and we absolutely will), Makanan Restaurant will be one of the first places we revisit. Highly recommended to anyone who wants to experience the real taste and soul of Sicily.

15/02/2025: Giunta dopo due giorni di studio matto e disperato, digiuna da due giorni, appena entrata, mi sono resa conto che era SAN VALENTINOOOOO ed io ero una single e per di più non munita di prenotazione!!Ho temuto il peggio, ma alla fine sono stata accolta bene. Nonostante il temibile menù fisso di San Valentino, ci siamo accordati per un'ottima tagliata e contorno di patate, n.2 calici di rosso locale per gradire. Tutto di di qualità. Ho conosciuto anche Peppe e Valeria (gentilissimi) e ho concluso la serata con ilarità! Rapporto qualità prezzo buona. La location molto accogliente. Ciao Ragazzi!!!!

29/05/2025: Attention...to all the pilgrims who are doing the Palermo Messina but also to the tourists passing through Caltavuturo, you absolutely must stop at this restaurant. A treasure chest of tastes and unique products will open up to you, expertly cultivated and cooked by the very talented Host. He welcomed me with warmth and passion explaining the processing of pasta with ancient grains, the mustard of his production, oil, Badda beans, in short, a unique experience. Not to mention the desserts with carob flour.

25/04/2025: Discovered almost by chance after a visit to the fortress (truly beautiful, but little appreciated), this restaurant offers excellent quality food, chosen and cooked with skill. The craft beer prepared with local raw materials is also excellent. The homemade bread was also delicious!

They pampered us and made us feel at home, walking on horseback in the greenery was regenerating. And to finish, an excellent aperitif.
