01/04/2024: I’m always trying to be balanced on my ratings and when I use the 5 stars it means that it cannot be better from my standpoint….. and this one cannot be better from mine or ANY STANDPOINT!!! MICHELIN GUIDE, where on god’s green earth are you???!?!? Let me just say that from the appetizers to the bread, dishes, and desserts it was a joy for the palate and ALL WAS DONE IN-HOUSE…. And ALL WAS DONE BY THE CHEF ALONE!!!!!! And ALL WAS CLOSE TO 1 star Michelin so I’m asking again, where are you Michelin when such genius of a chef exists!!!! I’ve never seen anything remotely like that in my life…. How can one be a chef, a baker and a pastry chef at the same time and be at least excellent on each count?! That was honestly mind boggling and if you ever step foot in Palermo and proud yourself as having a palate, then you HAVE to go there!!!! Starting with you Michelin inspectors!!!!!!

28/03/2024: We had a great evening at A‘Cuncuma. The tasting menu was easily adapted to allergy needs and an exiting experience. Very friendly service by the sommelier. She proposed a very affordable but very well fitting wine to accompany the menu. The chef, who came to the table, did a great job. We will be back when coming to Palermo.

04/04/2024: It is ideal if you want to eat in a soberly elegant environment, with punctual and efficient but not pressured service. Excellent a la carte dishes, varied choice, just enough to ensure quality and taste.

21/03/2024: Beautiful experience, presentation of sublime and very tasty dishes with a touch of personality, the place is clean and tidy and very welcoming, friendly and professional staff, if I happen to pass through Palermo it will definitely be my restaurant to go to for dinner

06/04/2024: A very chic, modern little restaurant. Loving, friendly service, very attentive. We had fried octopus, pasta with lamb ragout, both very good, and fish fried with oranges and almonds as well as fennel and carrots and two very tasty desserts. A wonderful evening. Mille Gracie!

19/03/2024: Yet another high-level restaurant in Palermo, located in a very central position, in the court area. Very original, elegant and refined place, I loved the background music, soft jazz. I was greeted with a welcome prosecco and an appetizer of guacamole and excellent sea asparagus. I chose as a first course guitars with cuttlefish ink and ricotta, an excellent combination, and a really good orange-crusted croaker. To conclude I had a fried sphinx, a lot of calories but it was really worth it. Honest prices, qualified and friendly staff, and generous portions, in short, everything was perfect.

05/04/2024: Raw seafood platter is great. Red prawns were best we had in Sicily. Squid ink pasta very nice Grilled seafood pasta was cooked perfectly Boiled fish was good Best meal we had during our 1 week trip in Sicily Make sure to book in advance. Dinner was completely booked out, so had to book for lunch the next day. Lunch was also packed

03/04/2024: We had a good time: both the raw and the two first courses were good, with a slight preference for the busiata with pesto and prawns. Well-kept location, attentive but not intrusive service, friendly owner. If I had to make a note, I would have liked a little more choice in the raw mix, also considering the final price.

12/03/2024: Sono tornato dopo qualche tempo in questo ristorante ubicato in un antico palazzo del centro di Palermo e confermo l'ottimo giudizio espresso in passato. Il locale è molto bello, con parti delle antiche mura a vista. Il personale gentilissimo e attento. I piatti saporiti e ottimamente presentati. Insomma, uno dei migliori ristoranti della città. Prezzo adeguato.

03/04/2024: we went to this restaurant driven by the excellent reviews, and we actually left very very satisfied! we took an appetizer of fried food with prawns and calamari, but the thing that pleased us most was that the prawns were already peeled! the first courses were very good, the pastas were made with care, excellent cooking and well-matched seasonings. very intimate and private environment. we will definitely return every time we visit Palermo! greetings from Catania

24/03/2024: We were a party of 5 that visited Palermo for 4 days and really love to eat good. This was definitely our favourite. Very professional and welcoming staff (with father and son as the maitre en sommelier). The specials of the day were amazing en incredibly fresh. Must do when in Palermo. 16/03/2024: Absolutely spectacular. The food was creative in all the right ways and the service was perfectly attentive but not overbearing. Pietro was fantastic! Just what we were looking for to try some regional specialties. Definitely recommend the tasting menu - seasonal and delicious. We thought the fish course was a tad overcooked but still delicious in its zebra preparation. Make sure to try the chef’s homemade limoncello with your dessert.

06/04/2024: Trattoria where you can enjoy not only excellent food (sublime tuna ammutticatu) but also the atmosphere of places of the past. An obligatory stop if you are passing through Palermo.

31/03/2024: We arrived at this restaurant after consulting "osterie d'italia" and I must say that this time too they got it right. Friendly staff, they found us a table even though it was almost full. Good food and family atmosphere. Recommended 👍

05/04/2024: Wow, my last restaurant visit in Sicily and the best so far. If you don't come to eat here, you haven't been to Sicily. The food was very delicious, the service was very attentive, the atmosphere was very appealing and the patron had everything in view. I'll be back on my next trip to Sicily. A very clear recommendation!!!
