31/07/2026: My partner and I had a very delicious meal here. The staff (Francesco & other waiter) is very attentive and the food is amazing (fresh pasta and unique dishes) , I wish I stayed longer in ortigia to go back and try more! Loved the oil sample they gave us, great location and overall great dinner/evening. I would definitely come back if I visit again. The neighborhood cat greeted us as well :)

11/07/2026: So, we booked an aperitivo for 27 people well in advance. I'm sorry to have to write that I, and we, were disappointed with the food: it wasn't great; in fact, luckily no one was wearing dentures, otherwise they would have left them there on the plate! A piece of advice for Bar Valentina: work harder on this aspect, because you can't serve cold, hard rotisserie to people who only let you know five days in advance. And above all, creativity exists in the kitchen! We were told there would be breadsticks with prosciutto, but perhaps you argued with the delicatessen owner, since there wasn't any of that. I feel sorry for you, because you're losing customers who might have returned. I hope this review is taken as an incentive to improve, because we all have to improve in something in life. We've written this review because the quantity and variety of food we perceived at the table didn't satisfy our guests, regardless of the total number of kilos of rotisserie prepared. The joke about the delicatessen owner was ironic and related to the type of service we received. The availability of the reserved platform is still appreciated.

08/07/2026: If there were a 10* rating, it would be a perfect 10! Great coffee, delicious ice cream, and sweets. The owner, I think, was the owner, a very nice guy. The terrace outside is shaded. I highly recommend it; it's a must-see if you're nearby!

04/08/2026: The most beautiful beach resort on Isola delle Femme, a quiet, well-maintained place with excellent food. All the staff are super efficient and polite. Walter at the bar, Giuseppe at the reception desk, Tiziana and Carolina in the dining room, and Alessia at reception—all wonderful people.

10/05/2026: A very large space, well-organized internal service. Excellent pastries, a wide variety of Sicilian and non-Sicilian specialties, delicious ice cream, and a deli to boot. There's an indoor dining area for lunch or aperitifs, or other drinks with friends, and there's also a tobacconist and Sisal point. The spaces are well-maintained and clean. The staff is knowledgeable, professional, and helpful. I enjoy an excellent frothy coffee with cocoa made by Simona, perhaps one of the best between Pelermo and Isola delle Femme.

18/07/2026: The best seafood pasta I've ever had! Fresh, large portions, and incredible flavor. I recommend it to everyone. In my opinion, it's the best pasta I've ever eaten.

15/07/2026: A very charming, welcoming, and refined atmosphere. We ate lunch in the shade at 35°C, so obviously we opted for air conditioning. But in the evening, it's best to eat on the terrace, with an incredible view of the marina and the Gulf of Sferracavallo, under a beautiful red sail. Foreword: it's called Fresco because they serve whatever's fresh they find... so the menu can vary depending on the day and, above all, the weather. Marcello, the owner, welcomes us and immediately informs us that in addition to the first courses, the menu also includes clams, shrimp, and amberjack ragù. I opt for the busiate pasta with amberjack ragù, and my partner for spaghetti with clams. Using the garlic as an excuse, they calmly let us know that, garlic or no garlic, it's not a problem for them because everything is made fresh (excellent!)... the wait is only that of cooking, or little more. The dishes are beautiful and plentiful. The amberjack was excellent, well-balanced with oil, rich in mint, with fried zucchini and toasted breadcrumbs: excellent. The spaghetti with clams was very good. All washed down with a glass of sparkling wine (Babbio by Gorghi Tondi). At the end of the meal, they offered us an excellent lemon sorbet and coffee. First time, but certainly not last. A must-try...and highly recommended. Price around €30 per person, but as we all know, anyone who wants to eat good fish already knows that's the price. But in this case, at least you spend your money without any regrets and leave satisfied...recommended!

25/05/2026: A waterfront venue on Isola delle Femme. You can sip excellent cocktails or enjoy a pinsa, a burger, a sandwich, a salad, or many other culinary offerings... I recommend coming at sunset... gorgeous!

27/06/2026: Left extremely disappointed honestly. The food was ok, nothing special at all. We got the lobster fettuccine — barely any lobster meat in there. The pistachio shrimp pesto sounds better than it actually is, also barely any shrimp. The tiramisu was straight up inedible. I hate food waste but we had to leave it. The ladyfingers were hard, and it did not taste right. It felt like they just threw it all on a plate and gave it to us. Which I am convinced is what actually happened because we waited 40 minutes for it and only got it after saying we would rather cancel that order. There seems to be only one competent person in the entire restaurant. We had to ask for the same thing multiple times and only one of the servers was of any real help. That poor man was running around making sure everyone was taken care of while taking orders from all the other employees. I went to pay and asked for an itemized bill because I was waiting for another thing to go wrong and it did. Could only get the receipt after I paid to realize we got charged twice for the dreadful tiramisu. I got the difference in coins. Truthfully, if it had been any other place I would’ve left it as a tip. The one useful server apologized multiple times and was a gem. I hope he finds a new place to work.

23/07/2026: An excellent restaurant that doesn't look like much from the outside, but the service is impeccable and very friendly, and the dishes are delicious and beautifully presented. Highly recommended!
