10/01/2026: Really bad experience for 1 January. Total chaotic service, 5 persons ordered, after 1h20min 3 persons got some food, not entirely what ordered, served ad hoc, when it was ready. So 4 of us were watching the one who was eating, all in different time. Asked for salt-pepper-oil cca.6x and never got them. 2 of us went home without eating any food, hungry and angry. Absolutely no communication between staff members, waiters although we spoke a multiple time about our order. Requested to speak with a manager or chef of the kitchen and the answer was to pretend they do not speak English. In the end offered a minor discount on the consumed food. The service all in all: ridiculous and so poor that I would give negative rate if it would be possible. Due to the location the restaurant will always have customers, but listen: the city offers so many other places where the service kind and fast, the food is tasty and the ambient is much more cozy. This osteria is not recommended.

26/02/2026: An excellent experience that I highly recommend. Professional and courteous staff. Intimate and private location. The food is excellent quality. If I had to find a flaw, it's clearly subjective: the portions are a bit large. It's a shame to leave food behind, especially when it's excellent, as it was here. The prices are commensurate with the service provided, and the 50% The Fork discount was applied correctly. We'll be back.

18/01/2026: It's been +/- three months since we came here, so sadly we do not remember all the details. It was probably average to fine, we came here twice, and so the dark chocolate flavour must have been nice enough to make us want to come back for a second try.

21/03/2026: A truly negative experience. The place was poorly maintained, and the chef greeted us with a promise of unique dishes and spectacular pizza dough, but nothing truly special. We opted to order hot appetizers and pizza. We waited over an hour for the hot mixed pizza (and there were only six other people in the place besides us). The chef personally told us that the reason for the delay was that everything is made fresh there, and the real surprise was the arrival of the hot mixed pizza with frozen potatoes. Unfortunately, it's clear that the customer is being considered stupid! The pizzas with special yeast-free dough, naturally priced higher for this "specialty," were tough, and the ingredients were of extremely low quality. Obviously, the total price of each pizza is worthy of a Michelin-starred restaurant. Despite a discount applied by the owner following a mix-up with the reservation on The Fork, the price remains exorbitant. I recommend a little more humility: the higher your customer's expectations are with your fine words and the presentation of supreme uniqueness, the more you have to prove it with facts, and this is definitely missing.

The food is distinguished by the high quality of the cuisine and the meticulous selection of locally sourced, carefully selected and top-quality ingredients. The only slight disappointment, not attributable to the impeccable management, concerns the careless behavior of some customers with their children.

26/12/2025: The menu wasn't updated online. We sat down and found only ready-made pasta sauces displayed at the counter, and a very salty pasta with clams, off-menu. Fresh fish by the kilo? None. Fish meatballs? Purchased pre-made and of poor quality. Swordfish rolls were very dry. The worst thing was that fried calamari, marinated shrimp, and pasta with bottarga were delivered to the table next to ours (all off-menu dishes that no one had informed us about). The only positive note of the lunch was the seafood salad. Never again.

28/10/2025: A very warm welcome, a smiling waiter, and quick service. They changed our wine because there was a problem with the one we were initially served. They didn't charge us for it and even offered us a complimentary digestif.

26/10/2025: The perfect place, a discovery of the 2025 season. Local, seasonal, and top-quality ingredients. The bruschetta tomatoes are aromatic and fragrant, with a touch of good extra virgin olive oil. The mussels are of excellent quality, fresh, perfectly prepared, firm, and not rubbery, with a delicious sauce of their own, seasoned so that the seasonings don't overwhelm their flavor. Next time, I'll ask for a spoon, because it would be a shame to leave such a wonder on the plate! The raw red shrimp from Mazzara del Vallo served with a drizzle of citron sauce and pink peppercorns. A masterpiece! The grilled swordfish is simply divine... The new team, led by Carlo and Mauro, make every effort to ensure guests feel comfortable and satisfied with the service. The atmosphere is friendly and relaxed. I consider this a prime example of how customer service should be. Attentive, kind, and genuine. I will be back, and I highly recommend it!
