14/10/2025: Giuseppe and his wife were charming, and the service was just like home. If you don't like spicy food, don't risk it; it's loaded with pepper. The only thing is that they give you the bill as a handwritten number and don't detail what you consumed. The price was high compared to other restaurants where we've had better and better meals, and we couldn't verify it. If you're vegan, don't fall for it. They'll serve you dough with sauce. They simply remove ingredients from their meals to make them vegan-friendly, but they don't add any vegetables.

21/09/2025: A hidden gem. Cozy terrace with a view of Palermo. We had lunch here. The service was friendly, fast, and very attentive. The caponata, pasta, and gnocchi were delicious. Highly recommended.

08/07/2025: It could be considered a paradise for any celiac sufferer. Everything is gluten-free, and there's a wide variety. You can try all kinds of gluten-free desserts, including the typical cannoli and arancine. We had a mini calzone and a sliced ​​pizza. We also took four arancine with ragù to eat later. There are two small tables for eating outside. There's no table service, so you have to buy what you want there, pay for it, and then sit outside.

17/09/2025: An exceptional little place in the center of Via Maqueda, the main street. The decor, the welcome, and the quality of the food were all perfect. The fish was excellent, as were the menu items! If you want to eat well and eat a little lighter than the fried foods the city offers, this is the place to go. We're going back again today.

10/10/2025: Awesome place we popped in on a Wednesday early for their lunch. No reservation and were seated. Restaurant is beautiful as you’re surrounded by their extensive wine offerings and the menu is simple but delicious. We shared their tartare, cacio e pepe, and pork tenderloin. The Cacio e Pepe and tenderloin were exceptional. The wine options are extensive and we chatted with the owner and selected a delicious white for lunch and two excellent bottles to take with us. The owner is a gent and we had some great conversation with him and he was kind enough to give us a bottle of local honey which is delicious. Next time we are in Mondello we will be back as this is comfortably the best restaurant in the area.

10/10/2025: Excellent dishes, from appetizers to main courses to dessert, with impeccable quality ingredients. The wait times are moderate, but largely justified by the care taken in preparing and presenting the dishes. The staff is courteous and helpful. Thanks again.

15/10/2025: Pizza isn't served until 7 p.m., which is a shame, because that's what the Landen is famous for. We had a great meal here two years ago, including lots of pizza, and everything was very good. Today at 12 p.m., we had mussel soup and original spaghetti carbonara, delicious but hearty. It's definitely worth waiting until the evening.
