04/08/2026: We chose the albacore tuna specials of the day and were truly satisfied. The seafood salad was excellent, the tuna caponata delicious, the pasta with clams delicious, and the paccheri with eggplant and albacore tuna delicious. To finish, an excellent dessert of a chocolate and almond ring cake with Modica chocolate fondue. The cuisine perfectly combines tradition and flavor, showcasing quality ingredients, while the service was friendly and attentive. I recommend this place to anyone who wants to savor authentic Sicilian cuisine in a relaxed and slightly jazzy atmosphere. 🎷

20/07/2026: Excellent food, well prepared and presented. Unfortunately, one of the waiters had the guts to crack a joke he thought was funny when an American tourist at the next table said his name was Michele, and he started making a series of comments like, "Michele... like The Godfather... Don Corleone... well done." It might seem innocent, but it fuels stereotypes that some of us Sicilians try to shake off, and it's unacceptable to hear that. When the tourist mentioned that he made films for a living, the second joke came out, "Oh, well done, you have to do The Godfather again, etc." Incidentally, seeing that sloppy Spritz that's served everywhere these days is also a shame.

23/06/2026: I wanted to try stigghiole the day before at the Ballarò market, but I found them here before leaving Palermo. I'm glad I ate theirs, as well as panelle and crocchè, caponata, and fried eggplant. All at a very fair price.

08/08/2026: The place was very pleasant, with excellent service and a pleasant atmosphere for conversation. The food, however, didn't meet my expectations. One pizza had a watery top, and the dough was quite heavy. However, I prefer my pizzas to be more well-done and the dough to be more delicate. I also like it when the ingredients are evenly distributed on the pizza, but this wasn't the case. It wasn't worth it.

06/08/2026: A great Italian restaurant with an English menu. Italians visit here, and you can really feel the atmosphere. The food is delicious and the atmosphere is great.

10/06/2026: A great place, Mehedi is an excellent hookah master. It's just a shame the tobacco selection is so limited. They only have Adaliya and Al Fakher.

07/04/2026: For the meal you see in the picture: a small pasta, a small salad, some bread, a glass of wine and a digestif - I paid almost €50. Nothing in the qaulity of the food justified such a rip-off. With so many other great options in the area, you can easily find a better meal at a much better price. I'm not surprised there were only tourists in the restaurant at peak hour, and not a single Italian - and that the place was half-empty.

18/05/2026: Terrible evening ! we arrived for our meal at 7.30 and the starter was delicious but took some time to arrive. our main course was accidentally given to a different table and so my husband didn't get his until 9.40pm!!! i had long finished mine. My fish was NOT very nice but his food was good when he got it. The bill was wrongly calculated and we had to point this out- . The staff seemed too busy and stressed though our waitress was lovely. all in all very disappointing as who wants to basically eat alone or almost not at all! our hotel refommmeded this place so maybe they just had a bad night.

The pasta was outstanding and the fish impeccably fresh, all at prices that felt remarkably fair for the quality on offer. The atmosphere is relaxed and authentic, the service friendly and efficient, and the whole experience felt like discovering a restaurant that locals would rather keep to themselves. If you’re looking for genuine Sicilian cooking rather than a tourist trap, Osteria Mercede is an excellent choice. ★★★★★

When a place does so well, you can see the passion behind every detail. In the Kitchen: Chef Gianfranco Parisi is a force of nature. His dishes are an experience for the eyes and the palate, combining technique, flavor, and a unique charm. At the Bar: Francesco Gaiano is a master behind the bar, with exceptional drinks and great professionalism. At the Bakery: Massimo in the pizzeria churns out spectacular pizzas, with perfect dough and cooking. In the Dining Room: Giovanni Fiorelli and the entire team welcome you with such attention, kindness, and energy that make you feel immediately at home. A beautiful atmosphere and an extraordinary staff that all pulls in the same direction. When you come here, you experience the region at its best. Highly recommended, I will definitely be back.

They guided us through the organization with impeccable professionalism, making us feel cared for and pampered from start to finish. Special praise goes to Roberto, the Maître d', who looked after us throughout the evening. He was simply exceptional. Always present, smiling, attentive, discreet, and tireless. She handled every moment with rare care and dedication, making us feel at ease and allowing us to enjoy every moment of the party without a care in the world. She's someone who does her job with all her heart, and that truly makes all the difference. And then the food: extraordinary. 18/06/2026: I celebrated my 25th wedding anniversary with a ceremony on site. The owners and their staff made this day perfect down to the smallest details. Roberto, the head waiter, and his staff were attentive to everything. The food was excellent and plentiful. Highly recommended.

26/03/2026: I always rely on Freccia Bar because it's close to home, and it's become an indispensable point of reference for many useful everyday services. Besides being an excellent bar, it also offers truly convenient tobacco services: from purchasing train tickets to picking up and shipping parcels, and even purchasing tax stamps. Lately, I've been using them primarily for train tickets and parcel management, and I must say the service has always been quick and efficient. The staff is extremely kind, professional, and always available, all topped off with a friendly attitude that makes every visit enjoyable. Highly recommended for those looking for convenience, courtesy, and a complete service all in one place!
