24/01/2025: In any case ....! If you eat pizza in any way you won't go wrong as it is cooked well and also very good! Otherwise, if you want to eat other dishes such as white meat or other types... make an excellent choice, everything cooked freshly and with really good flavours, Mario Luigi and all the staff manage to make you feel in an atmosphere like at home👍 🍜🍷 The wine 🍷 is quite good as is everything else.

A round of applause to the owners who, with great attention, studied the menu to recommend the best dishes, taking into account my intolerance to garlic, thus guaranteeing me an impeccable experience. As indicated in the title, the only small note (which is not exactly a flaw but could cause confusion) is that the restaurant is not part of a chain or franchise (which for the writer is a great added value).

14/01/2025: I had the pleasure of dining at Paloma in San Maurizio Canavese and I can say that it was a fantastic experience! The meat served is of the highest quality, cooked to perfection and with a unique flavour. The service is impeccable: the staff is welcoming, professional and always attentive to guests' needs. Also not to be missed is the truly exceptional selection of beers, which completes the meal perfectly. A place that I highly recommend to those looking for quality and an unparalleled culinary experience! And what about their amaro offered by Filippo at the end of the meal? Sublime!!! We'll see you guys again in February 😊

27/01/2025: Ottima trattoria d'altri tempi,provata per la prima volta nella nostra visita a Torino (città natale)nel quartiere di Barriera fi Milano,dove siamo cresciuti... atmosfera retro e familiare,servizio attento e simpatico e cibo squisito...torneremo sicuramente sperando che l anima del locale e i suoi gusti restino sempre gli stessi...da un collega torinotrapanese..

11/01/2025: Arm yourself with patience, if you want to eat a Farinata Top and a fabulous pan pizza, there is always a long wait unless you book very far in advance. For everything else, Pizzeria da Gino is a great place, courteous staff and sublime quality. Recommended, definitely recommended.

24/12/2024: Excellent experience at "Il Bisogno", with genuine and well-prepared dishes that highlight the quality and craftsmanship of the ingredients! We tried two specialties: pumpkin gnocchi with amaretto and Sorrento-style gnocchi au gratin. Both dishes were delicious, with handmade, all-potato dumplings that melted in your mouth. The combination of flavors was perfect, with the sweetness of the pumpkin and the aroma of the amaretto marrying beautifully, while the Sorrento version offered irresistible comfort food. The desserts are also excellent!!! We tasted the trifle and pistachio tiramisu, both home-made. I highly recommend "Il Bisogno", a culinary experience to remember!

24/10/2024: Unexpected Giordano Bruno! A delightful place with quality products both in terms of packaging (shoes) and food: platter with many delicious cold cuts (from finocchiona to loin to mortadella, which I generally don't eat) and special cheeses (various tomes) including smoked burrata . Jams and honey and fried flowers. Then tongs and sweets. Unique tiramisu, very good cream and chocolate millefeuille. Then beers and many really good wines (Castellano Ceste). Kindness, plenty of parking and discounted shoes if purchased at dinner!

06/01/2025: Trattoria in the historic and central part of Turin. The cuisine is good and the service is good, the wine list is extensive but with rather high prices compared to the wines available.

25/12/2024: I came across this restaurant by chance and we were pleasantly surprised! Very elegant and refined environment. Really high quality and refined food. I ate the best egg of my life. Incredible how they managed to enhance such a simple ingredient. The price is proportionate to what they offer. Super recommended

18/01/2025: I make this report with a spirit of continuous improvement because the food and environment are excellent. The waiters are normal but could: - greet you at the entrance, - check with your eyes if the customer has needs, - don't just take the orders but check if the table has been cleared promptly, clean and if the paper napkins have run out, - Offer you sweets in addition (I selling), - Frequently checking the state of the bathroom, and adding hand paper when the customer reports that they have finished it, is a small flaw.

17/01/2025: Christmas lunch at Maremoro; attracted by the excellent reviews of this place, we decided to stay for the whole family and, I'm sorry to say: I was extremely disappointed. The place, internally, is very well looked after and the staff are kind and efficient but you go to a restaurant to eat well and here, as was also evident from the many leftovers taken away from our table, left by all the guests, not by one particularly picky, this look just didn't work. What disappointed me most was the preparation of the dishes which, despite high-sounding names, as is increasingly fashionable, do not keep their promises and premises. At the beginning there was a "chef's amuse-bouche", wrong in size (too large) and in preparation (a sort of large cream puff stuffed with too much tuna mixture); followed by a "green apple marinated salmon", consisting of pieces of salmon served together with pieces of very little scented green apple, which made the dish totally unrelated. The next starter was a carpaccio of amberjack where the fish had a decidedly too strong flavour, well beyond the normality of this very noble fish. The pea cream in the last entree was excessive. Moving on to the first courses, I was curious to try the homemade cocoa, with yellow cherry tomato sauce and scampi tartare. Well, I found this dish really wrong, both in taste (a mixture of acid, sweet and bland which was therefore annoying), and in presentation (the carpaccio was on the pasta without any shape); the same goes for the plating of the risotto with prawns, pumpkin cream and coral from the prawn itself, where, in addition to unevenly cooked rice, there was the coral cream placed practically at random. The only dish I liked was the second course, tuna tataki, artichoke slices and parmesan flakes, but it was little consolation. Total cost: 65 euros + wines, which for being Christmas is more than honest but, frankly, I would have preferred to pay even more, have even fewer dishes, but made better than those I ate.

17/01/2025: Pranzo di Natale al Maremoro; attratti dalle ottime recensioni di questo locale, abbiamo deciso di pernotare per tutta la famiglia e, mi dispiace dirlo: sono rimasto estremamente deluso. Il locale, internamente, è molto curato ed il personale gentile ed efficente ma in un ristorante ci si va per mangiare bene e qui, come era evidente anche dai molti avanzi portati via dal nostro tavolo, lasciati da tutti i commensali, non da uno particolarmente schizzinoso, questo aspetto non ha proprio funzionato. Ciò che mi ha più deluso è stata la preparazione dei piatti che, a fronte di nomi altisonanti, come va sempre più di moda, poi non mantengono le promesse e le premesse. All'inizio c'era una "amuse-bouche dello chef", sbagliata come dimensioni (troppo grande) e come preparazione (una sorta di grosso bignè farcito con un eccesso di impasto al tonno); seguiva un "salmone marinato alla mela verde", costituito da pezzi di salmone servito insieme a pezzi di mela verde molto poco profumata, che rendeva il piatto totalmente slegato. L'antipasto successivo era un carpaccio di ricciola dove il pesce aveva un sapore decisamente troppo forte, ben oltre la normalità di questo pesce molto nobile. Eccessiva era poi la crema di piselli dell'ultima entree. Passando ai primi, ero curioso di assaggiare le caserecce al cacao, con riuzione di pomodorino giallo e tartare di scampi. Ebbene questo piatto l'ho trovato davvero sbagliato, sia come gusti (un misto di acido, dolce ed insipido che risultava quindi fastidioso), che come presentazione (il carpaccio stava sulla pasta senza alcuna forma); stesso discorso per l'impiattamento del risotto con gamberi, crema di zucca e corallo del gambero stesso, dove, oltre ad un riso cotto in maniera poco uniforme, c'era la crema di corallo messa praticamente a caso. L'unico piatto che mi è piaciuto è stato il secondo, Tataki di tonno, lamelle di carciofo e scaglie di parmigiano, ma è stata una magra consolazione. Costo totale: 65 euro + vini, che per essere Natale, è più che onesto ma, francamente, avrei preferito pagare anche di più, avere anche meno piatti, ma fatti meglio di quelli che ho mangiato.

26/01/2025: Everything was perfect, the only flaw was the presence of groups in the room that created background noise that made it difficult to talk to each other. Excellent and wide selection of quality wine, nice and tasty food (braised meat, tomini and tartare worthy of mention) we will be back soon!!!!

19/01/2025: Bellissima atmosfera, ancora meglio andare in Primavera vendendo il Lago a due passi fuori dal ristorante. Ottimo menù degustazione, curato e sfizioso, con la possibilità anche per i celiaci di concordare opzioni alternative. Ideale per cene di coppia.
