31/01/2025: It's my regular stop on Fridays: it's like being at home, among friends... Eating well 😌 Angelo and Gilda (in strict alphabetical order) always welcome you with a smile, as if you were a relative. You feel pampered, every now and then they stop by for a chat and a laugh. And while you make yourself a cutting board, a spritz and a pinsa, choose the shoes to buy for your girlfriend, at always affordable prices. And then in my opinion Angelo is identical to Alec Baldwin when he was young 😊

04/02/2025: Delicious Sunday lunch in this small restaurant, hidden among the streets of a tiny and charming village in Valdisusa. We tasted original and very tasty dishes, prepared with impeccable skill: from the "capunet" (rolls) of dark cabbage, filled with chestnuts and fondue, to the artichoke with confit cherry tomatoes, to the risotto with cod and candied orange, to the "gobbi" a sort of elongated ravioli, of ancient local tradition, with leeks and black carrot cream, and then a veal cheek in civet that melts like butter... not to mention the desserts (what a wonderful eggnog!) and an impressive wine list, especially Piedmontese but not only Excellent raw materials, recovery of traditional recipes reinvented with creativity, impeccable service, a welcoming and refined environment make this our first experience at Matilde's an opportunity to certainly be repeated. The bill is absolutely in line with everything else. Valuable!

26/01/2025: Delizioso pranzo domenicale in questo piccolo ristorante, nascosto tra le viuzze di una minuscola e affascinante borgata della Valdisusa. Abbiamo gustato piatti originali e gustosissimi, preparati con maestria impeccabile: dai "capunet" (involtini) di verza scura, ripieni di castagne e fonduta, al carciofo con pomodorini confit, al risotto con baccalà e arancia candita, ai "gobbi" una sorta di ravioli allungati, di antica tradizione locale, con porri e crema di carota nera, e poi una guancia di vitello in civet scioglievole come burro... per non parlare dei dolci (che zabaione meraviglioso!) e di una carta dei vini, soprattutto piemontesi ma non solo, ragguardevole Eccellenti materie prime, recupero di ricette tradizionali reinventate con creatività, servizio impeccabile, ambiente accogliente e curato fanno di questa nostra prima esperienza da Matilde un'occasione da ripetere senz'altro. Il conto è assolutamente in linea con tutto il resto. Pregevole!

18/02/2025: Passare da 2 euro a 2,50 euro a pezzo di tavola calda è una cosa assurda. Andavo in pausa pranzo con colleghi. Noi siamo lavoratori e a noi non hanno aumentato la paga. Scegliero un altro posto meno caro. aumento ingiustificato. ci vuole rispetto

25/01/2025: Stasera dopo anni che vado da loro a ritirare le arancine e non solo,sono rimasto deluso. Prezzo anno nuovo è passato a 2.50 contro i 2e di prima. Paio di anni fa era passato da 1.80 a 2. La cosa che mi piaceva di più che le arancina si sa sono fritti nell'olio,ma la cosa che ci è sempre piaciuta che erano asciutti non unti. Stasera giunto a casa oltre l'amaro del rincaro di 0.50 centesimi sul singolo è stato l'arancino in se,trovato inzuppato di olio! O hanno cambiato metodo oppure hanno rifatto saltare d'olio gli avanzi del giorno,anche perché passando di presenza un'ora prima per prenotarli ho notato la vetrina una decina messi li e mi ha fatto strano sabato alle 17 avere ancora residui mai visti esposti. Non vorrei che hanno preso 4 di quelli e ripassati nell'olio per la seconda volta. Risultato rincaro non indifferente e non croccante e asciutto come li hanno sempre fatti.

15/01/2025: Excellent food, in a trendy location, high-quality raw materials blended with wisdom in the kitchen, friendly and super efficient service, usually in a trattoria by definition, even if it has now added take-away service with delicatessen, the staff is minimal, in in this case I must say that instead it is capable and numerically available which makes the service also fast which doesn't hurt at lunch especially where time is always limited, furthermore the prices are absolutely in line and more than affordable also given the period of hardship with galloping inflation, plus I also found a range of good wine labels at correct prices, what can I say a discovery thanks to my friend Davide, who took me there, definitely worth going back .

14/01/2025: A simple but nice place. Modest prices for both lunch with an à la carte menu and dinner with a fixed menu. Nice choice of wines. I recommend it.

20/01/2025: I love this restaurant; I come there very often because the food is delicious, as is the spicy sauce they make (which I absolutely love), the place is cute and the owner is adorable! A positive note should also be noted for the bulk wine, both white and red, and for the presence of the 'Cabane' from the 'Cantine Povero' for the bottled red! At lunch there is the possibility to choose between various modular menus and everything is always delicious! Absolutely must try!

01/03/2025: Siamo stati a cena in quattro sabato 1’ febbraio, ovviamente con prenotazione ( pure ricordata il giorno prima per conferma orario), quindi: - Il tavolo per noi non c’era, abbiamo atteso che ci venisse trovato un posto e preparato un tavolo per quattro. - la signorina/ra che faceva le veci di responsabile, oltre a non porci un minimo di scuse ha preso la comanda con freddezza e con zero disponibilità ad una domanda, anzi… - poco dopo sono entrati altri clienti ed anche con loro c’è stato un problema di tavolo, a quel punto la suddetta signora ha sbattuto, con tutta forza e sbuffando, credo l’agenda delle prenotazioni sulla scrivania della cassa provocando un frastuono tale da scuotere tutti i clienti presenti. - alla richiesta del conto, ci e’ stato comunicato ad alta voce dalla cassa…. ma sono modi??? Sul cibo direi “senza infamia e senza lode” ma sul servizio una vergogna in primis per la maleducazione del personale e nello specifico la signorina/ra che gestiva la sala quella sera ( alta con capelli scuri) ; la stessa signorina man mano che si alzano i commensali inizia a spostare tavoli e sedie provocando rumore ed enorme disagio e disturbo a chi e’ ancora seduto a tavola, confermato anche dai commensali di altri tavolo vicino a noi. E poi vi dico, ma cambiatele almeno una volta le posate: neanche nelle più pessime piolacce succede questo. Non credo che sia proprio il vostro mestiere!!

29/12/2024: Typical Piedmontese trattoria. As soon as we arrived we were greeted with a simple aperitif. The starters are good and the homemade first courses are excellent. The Tajarin with porcini mushrooms and the agnolotti with roast sauce are absolutely recommended. Friendly and helpful service. The only flaw: if you have to go to the bathroom, ask carefully for information to avoid finding yourself in a dark room guarded by a black Rothvailer (as happened to us).

30/01/2025: All good but slightly expensive. No flat wuau effect, but that's subjective. The products are fresh and good. Nice place. Great selection of wine.

05/01/2025: Nice discovery in the center of Turin. Ligurian cuisine with an interesting menu, which often changes according to the season. the vegetable millefeuille was wonderful, as was the revisited capunet. I will return often.

07/01/2025: Very clean environment, super attentive and kind staff and TOP food. I RECOMMEND THIS RESTAURANT, we went there after a Juventus match and without a reservation, it was 9pm and we were welcomed with a smile and kindness, they made us sit right away and we ate really well.
