23/05/2026: I've been in Ivrea for a month, and countless locals have told me this restaurant is one of the best in the area. After dining there, I can absolutely see why.
It's a true experience of authentic Piedmontese cuisine: excellent food, a warm atmosphere, and kind, welcoming staff who immediately make you feel at ease. The place was packed with locals, which I think is always one of the best signs when you're looking for a truly good restaurant, not just one geared toward tourists.
What I particularly appreciated was that the restaurant didn't try to be too formal or pretentious. Instead, it focused on the important things: quality ingredients, generous portions, good service, and an atmosphere where people can truly relax and enjoy the evening. The atmosphere is casual yet refined, lively without being chaotic, with that authentic Italian energy that's hard to find elsewhere.
I started with a fish appetizer from a seafood buffet that, from what I understand, changes daily based on the availability of the catch. Everything was very good and flavorful, and it was a great way to start the dinner. I then continued with an excellent pizza: simple, tasty, well-made, and truly satisfying.
Overall, it was one of my favorite dining experiences since arriving in Ivrea. Good food, authentic character, pleasant staff, and an atmosphere that makes you want to stay longer than expected.
A place I absolutely recommend to anyone looking for an authentic and enjoyable experience in the area.
