07/06/2025: Che dire…. Posto meraviglioso e cucina ottima. Siamo stati accolti dal proprietario in modo amichevole con il quale durante la cena abbiamo dialogato amichevolmente. I piatti da noi scelti ci sono stati presentati in modo impeccabile ed erano anche ottimi. Ampia scelta di bottiglie di vino da soddisfare tutti i palati, è nota molto positiva la possibilità avere anche piatti senza glutine.

25/06/2025: I'm sorry because the pizza is really good, the waiters are very kind (especially the guy at the cash register) but forgetting the dessert is not a good thing especially when the place is not very crowded. The kitchen needs to be reviewed because they are very disorganized. We ordered chiacchiere with raw ham and buffalo mozzarella but a plate arrived with 3 buffalo mozzarella balls inside, very disappointing with no "Woow" effect, I hoped to see the classic buffalo mozzarella (you should specify if you have buffalo mozzarella instead of buffalo mozzarella). Good chiacchiere, good and abundant ham but 13€ no way... Price in itself thought out, aesthetically nice environment, quality staff but the kitchen staff should be more organized because it makes the place lose points. Reservations are recommended.

The pizza becomes more than a simple dish, but like an artist you compose it among the choices on the menu: you start with the choice of dough, the shape and finally the components. For me, classic dough with speck, gorgonzola and walnuts. During the (short) wait, two very good croutons arrived. The pizza is really good and I will definitely return as soon as I am in the area. Highly recommended

The restaurant offers typical Piedmontese dishes in a homely style. The dishes are very good and the price is really reasonable. Highly recommended!

24/05/2025: Beautiful restaurant under the arcades of Cherasco. Excellent value for money. I recommend the ravioli del plin burro e salvia. Excellent service, fast and attentive. The young and kind waitresses are excellent. We brought our big dog with us and they offered him water. Free biscuits made from pasta di melina brought with the coffee. Highly recommended!!

06/04/2025: An evening of romance and good food. Last night my husband gave me a surprise: very perfect!!! The San Pietro restaurant in the pedestrian area of ​​Limone has always been a must for those who want to dine (or have lunch) in a restaurant with an elegant and old-fashioned setting. The tables, rigorously round, are arranged in such a way as to guarantee the privacy of the guests. In the center you can admire a large wooden table on which stands, among other things, an exceptional display of cheeses. We were sitting next to the fireplace. Truly superb menu. I have celiac disease and a lot of attention was paid to me: fassona meat marinated with herbs, crumbled egg yolk and sweet and sour onion. The meat is very tender, tasty and not at all salty. My husband enjoyed a very soft lamb paté (at room temperature and not frozen as often happens) with brioche bread and caramelized onions. Applause-worthy first courses: for me risotto with sausage, Barolo and goat's blue cheese. Perfect cooking and delicate flavor despite the tasty ingredients. For my husband, an extraordinary tagliatelle filled with wild boar stew: a unique flavour, unparalleled softness and, to conclude, the owner of the restaurant delighted us - in every sense - with a soft zabaglione expertly prepared in front of us! Truly a huge round of applause to the chef and his team for giving us a wonderful evening! See you soon

The location is splendid: we had lunch in the outdoor garden, very well-kept and pleasant. The menu offers both the possibility of choosing à la carte, and two menus - one dedicated to local specialties and one based on fish. The dishes are well executed, abundant and very tasty. The selection of desserts is also interesting, all of which are made by them. Convenient parking nearby.

A round of applause also for the cleanliness of the premises, with particular mention for the tidy and well-kept bathroom, a detail often overlooked, but here synonymous with attention and respect. In short, Il Verso del Ghiottone is not just a restaurant: it is a place of the soul, where time slows down and each course tells a story.
