The food court in the mall is the emptiest, and after waiting 15 minutes without seeing any of the workers (who knows where they're hiding), I decided to eat somewhere else. Embarrassing!!

06/04/2026: Wonderful welcome, kind and friendly, and everyone was truly competent with top quality dishes and despite it being a holiday, some shops were open and allowed us holidaymakers to take a digestive tour thanks to the city of Alba and thanks to the restaurateurs of the INEDITO VIGIN MUDEST for welcoming us at the last minute and thus allowed us a last day of holiday to remember.

05/04/2026: We dined at this restaurant with high expectations, having booked well in advance (about two months) and chosen a predominantly fish-based menu. Unfortunately, once we arrived, we discovered that the menu had been completely changed a few weeks earlier, becoming largely meat-based (especially veal, which I don't eat), without any prior notification. Considering the restaurant's caliber, we believe such a significant change should have been communicated in advance, giving guests the opportunity to confirm or change their reservations. The situation was made even more unpleasant by the fact that I don't eat veal: out of five appetizers, I couldn't eat three. When I mentioned this, I was told "no problem," but in reality, I was served an incomplete dish compared to the other diners (a risotto missing the main ingredient, while the others were served with its meat sauce). Unfortunately, the service also didn't live up to expectations: the crumbs were never cleaned up throughout the entire dinner, the placemat was soiled, and none of the staff noticed, so much so that we had to ask for a replacement. Furthermore, the water was placed on a small table behind us, and we had to ask the waiter to pour it, without any spontaneous attention from the staff. That said, the place is very beautiful, well-kept, and pleasant, and the staff was always courteous. Precisely for this reason, we would have expected greater customer service and more careful management of the overall experience. Overall, a disappointing experience compared to expectations, especially due to the lack of communication and service that didn't meet the expected level.

05/04/2026: Exceptional Easter Brunch! The quality of the food is truly top-notch, compliments to the chef! The service was prompt and friendly, and special mention goes to Patrizia, the fantastic head waiter. An experience to be repeated without a doubt.

04/02/2026: I can't quite describe the feeling I felt when we walked through the doors of Osteria Ra Ca 'D Baruc other than returning to the warm and welcoming atmosphere of home. It might have been the way they greeted you as if you were an old customer you hadn't seen in a while, or the exposed brick walls, the beams, or the roaring fireplace... perhaps all of them combined. There's no set menu, just a series of dishes, each more delicious than the last, based on Piedmontese tradition with a few twists to make them even better. I think it will become the place we'll go with family to celebrate important and less important events.

07/03/2026: A wonderful and meticulously maintained restaurant, but when we requested well-done cooking, two of the three dishes we ordered arrived almost rare, resulting in less than half of the food (basically the outer part that was well-done). When we pointed this out, we were met with a simple "sorry," and the dishes weren't that cheap... what a shame!

07/11/2025: We visited this restaurant during the truffle fair, with high expectations for the menu and location. Upon arrival, we were welcomed downstairs into a room where the tables were far too close together and overcrowded, right next to the kitchen entrance. We had hoped to enjoy the view from the upstairs. I had also asked about the option of a birthday cake, but the only option was to choose a dessert from the menu and add a chocolate message on the plate and a candle. I think that for this price range, this arrangement and the lack of the option to personalize a dessert are unacceptable.

12/04/2026: A very welcoming restaurant in Barolo, with a relaxed and convivial atmosphere. The food was exquisite, partly following Piedmontese tradition and partly reinterpreting classic cuisine. A sommelier is available to advise on the wine list.

08/04/2026: Debora Alberto 1/5 14 minutes ago on Google Debora Alberto 1/5 right now on Google I don't usually like to give negative reviews, but in this case it's absolutely necessary, firstly because of the room management's attitude and secondly because of a whole other set of standards that a 4-star hotel should have, but in this place they aren't even close to meeting them. 1. Safety: steep stairs without a handrail to reach the "suite"; 2. "Suite" with lots of quotation marks; a hole in the parquet floor and up to that point; stained sheets that were changed by the receptionist upon request; and well, poor attention to detail in general. What shocked us was that the next morning a light bulb hanging at head height exploded, having accidentally knocked it directly onto the bed in my partner's face. The staff was unable to handle the situation; they seemed confused and annoyed. Furthermore, they didn't offer a refund for the "suite room," etc. They even reported to "Booking," the booking site, that we didn't show up to avoid a negative review. Truly, truly horrible behavior. We will never return!!! It's not a 4-star hotel; in the morning, they arrive at breakfast with sugar packets counted. Given its location, it could even be a nice place, but the amenities are lacking, and the security and staff are incompetent!!! Rating: 0!!

08/03/2026: A splendid and impeccably maintained location; unfortunately, the cuisine still needs some improvement to fully live up to the setting. The initial wait was a bit long, but overall bearable: the location and the view help you enjoy the moment. Expectations were high, especially since it's a place we'd love to return to. A few small adjustments to the dishes would be advisable: • Octopus alla Luciana: tender and flavorful, but slightly dry and cut with a knife not exactly suited to the task; • Tagliolini with cacio e pepe and mussels: tasty, but these also arrived a bit dry. An interesting note about the bread: we were told "we'll bring you some warm bread soon"... we expected it to be freshly baked, but instead it was lukewarm but cold in the middle—hard to understand why. The portions were still good, and the dishes were tasty overall. The unsolicited discount at the end was appreciated. Overall, a positive experience: we'll be back.
