Locanda in Cannubi In Barolo

At his restaurant, we were welcomed with truly special kindness and attention: we felt not just like customers, but like guests in the house. Excellent cuisine, a pleasant atmosphere, and impeccable service, made even more special by his professionalism and kind heart.

Very nice location, tasty dishes, excellent service, the only flaw was the €12 dessert. We didn't like it. The quality and price didn't match the type of dessert.

I am ashamed to admit that we have eaten at Locanda in Cannubi several times and this is my first review. Most often with my wife and occasionally with a friend. It doesn't matter much as the reviews would have all been the same......TERRIFIC. The restaurant is well situated a few minutes out of Barolo with a wonderful view and a very warm ambiance. The food is very creative at every level and every course and is one of the few places I have a dessert. If you are lucky enough to have a reservation during truffle season (not easy to get) it is just spectacular. Add that the staff are very professional and very engaging from the first minute you encounter Gianni B. looking to make a reservation until the last goodbye. My wife and I eat out 150 times a year and know the difference. Locanda in Cannubi is so special that wherever we are in Italy we somehow route ourselves through the Langhe to eat there. A real treat and cannot wait to be back.

A truly excellent experience at Locanda in Cannubi. The location is simply spectacular, with a breathtaking view of the Langhe that creates a unique atmosphere. The large windows flood the rooms with natural light, and the well-spaced tables ensure comfort and tranquility. We were here for a confirmation and had a wonderful time. The food is excellent, carefully prepared and meticulously prepared. The staff is always friendly, smiling, and helpful. The excellent value for money is also noteworthy. I highly recommend this place and will definitely return.

The food is so good it's almost impossible to put into words – you simply have to experience it for yourself. Every course is a delight. The staff is incredibly attentive and warm; you immediately feel welcome. And the ambiance? It's hard to beat. Nestled in the vineyards of Barolo with a breathtaking view of La Morra. It doesn't get any better than this. Highly recommended – we'll be back! 🙌

Suspended in the hills of Barolo, we found ourselves at a lunch with former colleagues. The menu was pre-arranged. The portions were small. The wine was served sparingly. The dessert was unremarkable. Price: €70. The place is pleasant. Perhaps the fixed menu was a letdown. Try the à la carte menu.

Beautiful place with a panoramic view, parking, and excellent service. The price is reasonable for what you eat and how you are served. Highly recommended.
