07/03/2026: A wonderful and meticulously maintained restaurant, but when we requested well-done cooking, two of the three dishes we ordered arrived almost rare, resulting in less than half of the food (basically the outer part that was well-done). When we pointed this out, we were met with a simple "sorry," and the dishes weren't that cheap... what a shame!

01/06/2026: An excellent pizza in Neive, combining tradition with impeccable service! 🍕✨ After several stops dedicated to the rich traditional cuisine of the Langhe, our bodies were crying out for a good, healthy pizza! We found this place with an old-world atmosphere, where the pizza turned out to be truly excellent. A particularly positive note: the fantastic option to choose your favorite type of dough! The real highlight of the evening, however, was the waiter: a young but incredibly talented man. When it comes to restaurants, this is exactly the quality of service you expect! Welcoming, friendly, and professional, he makes you feel immediately at home without ever losing an ounce of professionalism. If I had to make a small constructive comment, there are just a couple of details missing from the excellence: The appetizers: the idea of ​​an open fridge at the entrance leaves a bit to be desired; it would be much better to have them freshly prepared from the kitchen. The wine list: It could be enhanced by offering a few more unusual, niche, and less commercial labels. The decor: The retro style is beautiful, but it could use a little more attention to detail. Neive desperately needs a place that's both historic and contemporary! The pizza is excellent and the service is excellent... it's just a tiny step away from perfection. We'll definitely be back! Highly recommended.

01/06/2026: Good service, excellent pizza and excellent dough, prices fairly in line, except for the wine... 1/4 of a house wine at 9 euros seems a bit high. A few too many tables, it was a bit cramped.

05/05/2026: I discovered this place while walking around the small village of Barolo. The welcome was warm and inviting so I reserved a table and came back 45 min later. Menu of typical regional dishes and a very impressive wine list of local and other wines - though I’m not sure one should drink anything other than Barolo or local grape varieties when sitting in the village of Barolo. I had a fantastic Risotto made with Barolo and had a Local dessert with a glass of Nebbiolo (the local grape) and the bill came to a very reasonable €30. Highly recommend. Local, authentic, welcoming.

11/06/2026: Very nice place with retro decor. In my opinion, the food is quality, but the cooking lacks a bit of passion and care. The first course was bland and undercooked. The second course was the same: the meat was grilled without a drizzle of oil or even a little rosemary or other herbs. They forgot about the baked potatoes in the microwave, so much so that they were still overcooked 15 minutes after they were served. Meanwhile, they charged a whopping 50 euros per person. This isn't a criticism, but if someone who's on the go for work comes into your restaurant full of enthusiasm to have a peaceful dinner, why don't you put a little good humor into it to make them feel at home!?

07/11/2025: We visited this restaurant during the truffle fair, with high expectations for the menu and location. Upon arrival, we were welcomed downstairs into a room where the tables were far too close together and overcrowded, right next to the kitchen entrance. We had hoped to enjoy the view from the upstairs. I had also asked about the option of a birthday cake, but the only option was to choose a dessert from the menu and add a chocolate message on the plate and a candle. I think that for this price range, this arrangement and the lack of the option to personalize a dessert are unacceptable.

05/05/2026: The food was plentiful, and even though there's a fixed menu, they were willing to offer excellent alternatives. The ravioli al plin were delicious. The staff was courteous and friendly.

07/05/2026: What a discovery! This place offers traditional dishes alongside unexpected new options, all made with top-quality ingredients. We went on fish night and it was a wonderful surprise. The staff was incredibly helpful and professional, and the wine list contains some hidden gems. Highly recommended.

07/05/2026: Business lunch, good appetizer. Excellent rib-eye steak and chocolate salami to finish off in style.

11/05/2026: The food and the atmosphere are very good. However, the way guests are treated leaves much to be desired! After our visit, the owner accused us in a very rude tone of not showing up despite having a reservation!?! We then sent him photos of the food and even the bill, but we never received an apology for his inappropriate behavior. Mistakes can happen, but one should also have the decency to admit them.

20/04/2026: We returned to Alba this year and again to All'Osteria, which did not disappoint. Local dishes, excellent ingredients, well-cooked and beautifully presented. Portions are generous, and service is attentive and courteous. Prices are reasonable. The new location is larger, with outdoor space as well.

14/05/2026: This was our final meal before leaving Italy. Even though it was only a short 3-day trip, this meal was honestly better than the Michelin-starred restaurant we visited the night before. Incredible value for money, full of care and flavour. The milk gelato was also the best I’ve ever had. Definitely somewhere I would return to, I genuinely highly recommend it.

13/05/2026: Fantastic food and wine. The pasta with spinach was the best we had on our trip to Piedmont - wow! Top wine at absolutely great prices 🍷 🇮🇹 great company who were very loud - hence 4 out of 5 stars for atmosphere. Will come again at the first opportunity! ❤️ Grazie mille🙏
