27/12/2024: Ci siamo fermati al nostro arrivo ad Alba per un pranzo veloce. Buona l’accoglienza anche perché il locale era vuoto. Proposta molto interessante anche per i vegetariani. Vitello tonnato rivisitato molto gustoso. Forse il prezzo un po’ eccessivo visto che abbiamo chiesto due calici di vino, un antipasto due secondi e un dolce 85 euro.

27/10/2024: Update October 2024: Yesterday we visited Livia's gelateria for the sixth time this year, 3 times during our summer vacation, 3 times during October. We tasted at least 8 types of ice cream – I cannot describe this flavor experience!!! Every type was wonderful and Livia is creating new types of special ice cream all the time. Additionally she taught me how to prepare chestnuts for dessert. I am sorry that I do not have a caravan to buy ice cream for my freezer at home… I hope to return to this gelateria next year! Thank you so much!!! Today we visited Livia's gelateria for the second time this year. We tasted five types of ice cream – every taste was WONDERFUL. Livia is a warm-hearted and patient person who taught me wonderful things about local products (e.g. Ramassin grape). Furthermore, her German language skills are excellent. When I return to Piedmont I will certainly make a stopover at Livia's gelateria. Thank you so much!

11/11/2024: Dietro ad un passaparola della Zocca emiliana siamo riusciti ad arrivare da Filippo! E che dire…la realtà è stata maggiore della immaginazione: i tajarin,il coniglio,la sua insalatina,la pesca caramellata bastano per inginocchiarsi davanti a questa eccellenza di chef che diventa una persona umile e normale quando passa al tavolo perché vuole sentire le critiche e magari anche due parole sul Blasco per poi dire, grazie di essere stati qui. Circa 310 km ci sono voluti per arrivare ma sicuramente a breve li rifaremo perché meritano la destinazione! Grazie Filippo di questo atelier di arte culinaria!

09/11/2024: Ein Herzlicher Empfang und eine freundliche Aufmerksamkeit den ganzen Abend lang. Wo unsere Italienisch Kenntnisse versiegten, half Filippo in besten Deutsch aus. Wir genossen Kaninchen vom Grill mit besonders zart knusprigen Röstkartoffeln dazu. Da an diesem Abend weniger Gäste da waren, wurde uns als Nachschlag das ganze verbleibende Kaninchen samt Beilagen angeboten welches wir, hungrig vom Radfahren begeistert annahmen. Ich fand dies das beste Essen auf unsrer 5 Tage Piemont Tour.

05/03/2025: Cela fait maintenant plusieurs années que nous retournons à Alba pour la fête de la truffe blanche et à chaque fois nous nous rendons dans ce restaurant. L'accueil est largement supérieur aux autres établissements. La qualité des truffes est irréprochable. Les plats et charcuterie tous délicieux. Bien situé sur la place principale, le restaurant est séparé en 2 parties. En haut, esprit brasserie et en bas, une jolie salle de restaurant avec une carte légèrement différente.

25/01/2025: Consistency. This is the best word to describe the excellent food, service, and atmosphere. Among my top 3 favorite restaurants in Alba. Very extensive and good wine list.

02/03/2025: Unbeatable value for money - the food is delicious and the guys who work there demonstrate a working attitude that is a pleasure for the eyes. Highly recommended. Obviously on crowded evenings it is noisy, because we Italians don't know how to live in the world.

28/01/2025: Typical location of a place for takeaway pizza and tables, well maintained and very clean. The girls who welcome you always have a smile for everyone and are VERY KIND. the pizzas are for all tastes, the burgers are very good and plentiful, the desserts are delicious... the prices are really excellent! In short, it's a must try. Congratulations also to all the guys who make the pizzas and all the other dishes! 😋😋😋

30/03/2025: Highly recommended! I stopped by for lunch by chance and then came back a few weeks later for dinner. Good food, relaxed atmosphere and very kind staff! I recommend the meat (we tried both the battuta and the tagliata) and the tiramisu.

11/03/2025: Delicious dishes of typical Piedmontese cuisine with homemade mayonnaise and tuna sauce. Variety of dishes, and mixed appetizers served at the table. I tried the polenta and really liked it. The wine is also good. Next to the restaurant there is also a bar. Reservation recommended

01/03/2025: Consigliato da amici abbiamo cenato in questo ristorante che domina Frabosa Soprana: personale gentilissimo e servizio impeccabile. Ordinato Taglierini al sugo di Funghi, Cannelloni al sugo di carne ed un favoloso Coniglio alla cacciatora con contorni di patate e bietole saltate allo burro 😋. Carta dei vini essenziale e di qualità per i prezzi proposti. Tutto squisito, prezzi contenuti e porzioni generose. Torneremo sicuramente.

03/02/2025: Family-run establishment where nothing is overlooked. Very welcoming room in which there are hygiene products of their production, impeccably managed restaurant, high quality food and truly romantic atmosphere, breakfast as we like it, not a huge serial buffet but selected dishes of their own exquisite production. Visit to the cellar and tasting managed by a truly knowledgeable young sommelier who understood our tastes and recommended excellent wines which we willingly purchased. You can see the family's pride in doing things as best as possible. This season we did not enjoy the beautiful outdoor space with swimming pool, but the beautiful and organized spa made us forget about the bad weather. Really recommended. Strategic point to comfortably visit the Langhe towns.
