Average food, and quite expensive for what we got. Probably good for Rome
We were encouraged by the good news, and it did not disappoint, tables with Indian diners and then we thought... this is the place we were looking for.
The place lacks warmth but the food is delicious

Very delicious food, very tasty and good amount, the waiters were very nice, asking if you need something or if everything was ok , the place is nice, good atmosphere and clean. During our time in Rome we came 2 times and it was always a very nice experience!

Raghu and Pravesh provided amazing service. Helped us choose our dishes and allowed us to customize them to our liking. The madras lamb and chicken were outstanding. The servers were extremely polite and thorough in their service.

Ci ritorneremmo

Our first evening in Rome was a Sunday and we were still adjusting to local time (vs. when we got hungry for meals). Some restaurants close on Sunday, though this place was open. A fair percentage of restaurants don't open until 6:30 or 7 p.m., but this place was open earlier. Plus it was relatively close to our hotel. We opted for dinner here.
The restaurant is located at the end of the street within 2 blocks of Via Nazionale. A lot of the Italian places we ate at throughout the trip had similar interior décor. This place at least looked different from them with Indian art, etc.
The menu had at least a major overlap with dishes we were used to seeing in Indian restaurants in the U.S. We were able to find things we wanted, and I thought the food was good. It tended to be a bit sweeter than the same dish in the U.S. but was flavorful. Maybe that's per local tastes?
As in all the restaurants during our trip, 'tap water' is not an option. It is bottled (either 'still' or 'with gas'). That isn't a complaint, just an observation. Also, a lot of restaurants had ~ 1 Euro per person 'cover charge'; I'm not sure why. Prices here were reasonable.
Though the pasta is usually very good in Italy, at some point you may want a break from it. If so, this place is a good option.
