Very small bistro. Without a reservation, you have to ring the doorbell and wait. But the food more than makes up for it. Friendly and honest service.

Excellent food quality and preparation at fair prices. Highly recommended. The space is small and it can be a little uncomfortable eating so close to the people at the next table, but it's definitely worth it.

A truly delightful and superior experience.
The best pasta carbonara I had during my stay, the desserts were incredibly delicious, and you can tell it's made fresh to order.
You need to make a reservation. You ring the bell, and they let you in with your reservation.

"One of the best bistros we've tried in Rome," Anita recommends.
Rione XIV Bistrot is one of those places you stumble upon by chance and end up recommending to everyone.
We ordered the carpaccio to start, which was very well prepared, fresh, and perfectly cooked. The carbonara had a homemade flavor, without any artificial ingredients, just as it should be. And the saltimbocca to finish, tender and with a perfect balance of sage and ham.
The place has a lot of charm, an intimate and well-maintained atmosphere. You do have to ring the bell to get in, though—a detail that adds even more character.
A must-visit if you're in Rome and want to eat real Italian food, without any gimmicks.

One of the best places we've been to in Rome. Quality pasta, fine products and the flavors - wow!
The tiramisu is perfect, and the atmosphere is exceptional.
I wouldn't miss it!

Followed the reviews and they didn’t lead me wrong! We showed up at opening after a Vatican tour and sat right away for a table for two. The food was amazing. I got the eggplant parm (which is gluten free!) and it was great.
