Shiso Restaurant

21/04/2026: I had dinner at this restaurant with a friend. The restaurant is small but welcoming, with an open kitchen and a varied menu. We sampled many dishes, and all the food was of excellent quality and carefully plated. The service was excellent. Despite it being a weekday evening and not many people, they served the courses sequentially, as if it were a sort of tasting session, allowing us to fully enjoy each dish without any rush. I would recommend expanding the wine selection a bit, but otherwise, it gets top marks. I will return for other occasions.

16/06/2026: Probably the best Japanese restaurant in Rome. Unfortunately, there's always a long line. They don't take reservations for kaiten. Prices are moderately high, but definitely commensurate with the quality of the food.
13/06/2026: A true Japanese-style restaurant. Good food, a relaxing atmosphere, and friendly, knowledgeable staff.
