The truffle dishes are excellent! We tried the fondue, the beef, and the pasta. The service is very friendly and the atmosphere is warm and inviting! We went there several times during our stay in Rome.

We absolutely loved La Taverna Lucifero in Rome. Honestly, it's a place we wholeheartedly recommend. In our opinion, it's the perfect restaurant for truffle lovers. The truffle pasta was absolutely delicious: perfectly cooked, expertly seasoned, and above all, a very generous amount of truffle. My partner was in heaven. The meat with truffles is also excellent, very flavorful, generous, and beautifully presented. But what's truly wonderful is that even if you're not particularly fond of truffles, this restaurant is well worth a visit. The menu is very varied and comprehensive, with numerous cuts of meat, fondues, including meat fondues and Chinese fondues, as well as desserts. So there's really something to please everyone, whatever their tastes. I had a mixed salad with ham, and it was delicious. The products are of very high quality, everything is well-prepared and generous, and this is immediately apparent on the plate. The menu isn't endless, which is often a good sign: here, we felt that the dishes were carefully prepared and the ingredients chosen with care. Another very welcome point: the service is quick and efficient, without ever being rushed. And above all, the staff is simply lovely. We have rarely been greeted with such kindness. It was a bit busy, but not overcrowded, and despite this, the team remained smiling, attentive, and pleasant from beginning to end. At the end of the meal, they even offered us small almond cookies, a thoughtful touch that touched us deeply. The overall atmosphere of the restaurant also greatly contributes to the enjoyment of the experience: everyone seemed happy to be there, the customers looked delighted, the atmosphere was friendly, warm, almost joyful. This makes you want to stay even more and come back. In short: delicious food, a very extensive menu, generous portions, fast service, and truly charming staff. An address we will treasure and where we would gladly return on our next trip to Rome. A very, very, very big favorite.

My wife and I have visited Italy several times and we have been to several different cities. Taverna Lucifero is our favorite restaurant in all of Italy. Amazing food and an incredibly welcoming atmosphere.

We had wonderful pasta and a steak with green peppercorns. All tasted wonderful. The service was great. We will be back for sure. Buono!
