Nestled in a winding narrow cobblestone street close to a lively wine bar, with the cooks gathered at the entrance, it was tempting not to walk inside this small windowless restaurant. But Lucifero was a delight, and we’re glad we did. The truffle and duck fat gnocchi was our favourite dish. The hosts were very friendly.

Typically being in Rome i find it hard to find a good resturant. Many are tourist traps and often are very expensive for not authentic italian food. This place is the exception! Food was incredible! This place is definitely now moving forward a go to hands down.

This restaurant came recommended by two connections and did not disappoint. The service was fast and friendly. Family enjoyed all of their plates and experience as I followed along with my suggested courses by the maitre d’. No soliciting, no raucous. This is a place to come, sit, relax and appreciate your food and time.

If you’re a foodie and always try to find the best food, look no further!
Everything was exquisite.
The melted cheese with black truffles was heavenly and we almost fought over the last piece.
Beef dishes were both very flavorful, creamy and cooked to medium perfection. Potatoes tastes great. Pasta with black truffles was the best we’ve had in Italy - thinner and less doughy spaghetti. Nothing needed any additional seasoning.

The food was off the charts. The duck breast was the perfect blend of sweet, savory, and salty. Truffles were hand shaven onto the house made pasta and steak, which were both prepared perfectly. Wait staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, the owner even gave us espresso and dessert wine on the house. 10/10 would go again.

We felt incredibly welcome, got a table even without a reservation, and the food was fantastic. Filet with porcini mushrooms and scallops with truffles, mmm!
