03/11/2025: Good, great restaurant, I couldn't say more. It's been around for a long time, and has stolen the hearts of several generations. I'm returning after a long time, on a busy evening. The food is quality. I was disappointed by the parmigiana, as was the bruschetta with tomato, artichokes, and olives (I'd revisit the plating). I didn't find the wine (Dolcetto d'Alba) to be a perfect match for dinner. These are minor details; the broccoli was fantastic, as were the chicory and the meat. Perhaps too many sprouts scattered here and there. I would have highlighted the sprouts, perhaps by explaining why they're there... and what kind of sprouts they are. The staff, however, was excellent; they were extremely clean, quiet, and smiling. Congratulations.

01/11/2025: Always a guarantee, with a chic yet familiar atmosphere, excellent food made with consistently fresh ingredients and light, flavorful dishes, and impeccable, fast staff. Customer service is excellent, and the quality/price ratio is good. I recommend making a reservation.

Probably the best seafood restaurant in central Rome. The service is also remarkable: punctual, friendly, and helpful. Always a divine experience at Matermatuta.

I left a negative review primarily because you were rude at the restaurant (with the same comments you've just written), telling me I didn't like your ramen because "I'm used to instant noodles" or "I'd probably never tried ramen before." You made me feel uncomfortable, and I didn't enjoy my experience at your restaurant. I ordered takeout out of courtesy, and I never throw away food, even if it's not to my taste.

14/10/2025: Impeccable service, friendly and attentive staff. The atmosphere is refined and welcoming, perfect for both a dinner with friends and a special occasion. The first courses are truly tasty and beautifully presented, and the second courses are equally delicious: fresh fish, cooked to perfection. Highly recommended, I'll definitely be back!

15/08/2025: The place is modern, well-kept, and very beautiful in the residential center of Ostia between the ferries and the Panfili. The coffee and croissants are very good, the bill is also very reasonable, and the staff is very friendly and helpful. We were very dissatisfied and disappointed by the owner's behavior, known for being a bit arrogant and unfriendly. We arrived late at 11:00 for breakfast and were told we couldn't have breakfast. He then told us we could have breakfast at the counter, and then we asked for a table since they were preparing it somewhere else entirely. The problem is that later, around 12:00, other people came in, and he welcomed them freely without saying anything, going to serve them at the table himself when we were supposed to get our own cups and croissants and bring them to ourselves. This was a different and unbalanced service that left much to be desired.

10/10/2025: Haven't you really been here yet? It's a great place! Right in the city center, available anytime if you're craving something delicious. Delicious, hearty dishes, revisited with imagination while respecting traditional flavors, explode in your mouth and leave you feeling so happy! But above all, delicious and served with a smile in a relaxing and pleasant atmosphere. You come here as friends, not customers...even if you sit at the tables outside.

12/09/2025: As with the rest of the chain, the meat is very good. Here in Guidonia, the atmosphere is relaxed and the staff is friendly. I'm not adding photos because I don't usually take pictures of dishes; I prefer to spend time with those around me. 😉😁 I ordered the lunch menu, a very generous salad with chicken, hard-boiled egg, green beans, and cherry tomatoes. Excellent!

14/09/2025: Small, pleasantly decorated restaurant. Warm welcome and excellent cuisine, especially the fresh pasta they make themselves. The tonnarelli alla pescatora and alle vongole are a must-try. The desserts and wine list are excellent. Despite being in a highly touristy area, the restaurant has managed to stand out by creating its own unique atmosphere.

03/10/2025: An interesting discovery! The atmosphere is refined and welcoming. Antique and modern pieces are beautifully combined. The staff is friendly and never intrusive. The food selection is interesting, using quality ingredients. The fusilli al ferro with peperoni cruschi is excellent. Highly recommended, whether for an intimate dinner or an outing with friends or family. I loved the way they bring you the bill!
