02/07/2025: Just a lovely simple place with a family set up. I went to Rome and stayed nearby this place several years ago and forgot to write a review. Mama makes great pizza dough in the back and the son at the front was very welcoming and helped me to choose pizza. I’m from the UK where pizza is rubbish but, as you can imagine, if I’m writing a review after nearly 9 years it must be good. Thanks everyone there! Grazie mille!

05/06/2025: The boss is so kind. I needed breakfast early in the morning, but the nearby McDonald's said it would open at 7, but it was closed, so I went to this store on my way home. It was early in the morning, so they didn't have pizza, but the bread, coffee, and cappuccino were cheap and delicious. It was a shame that I found out about this on the last day of my trip. I hope to see you again next time.

08/06/2025: Wij logeerden met 6 personen in een AirBnb-appartement in de Via Sicilia. Dit restaurant was onze onderbuurman. Iedere keer als we er langs liepen was het restaurant vol, dus dan moet het wel goed zijn. Na 2 keer elders gegeten te hebben reserveerden we hier. Lekker buiten op terras. Mooi voorgerecht om te delen, de obers dachten met ons mee wat te kiezen. Helaas ging het daarna stortregenen. De ijverige obers probeerden voor ieder een oplossing te vinden. Toevallig kwam er binnen een grote ronde tafel vrij. Wij hebben daar verder gegeten en genoten van de gezellige sfeer. Alles was top, eten, drinken en bediening. Daarom zijn we nog een andere avond teruggegaan, zelfde ervaring maar dan zonder stortbui! Wij vinden dit restaurant een aanrader met dank aan de gezellige obers.

01/07/2025: A point of reference for a Sunday lunch or last minute dinner. Everything is good from pizza to spaghetti with clams. My favorite is the millefoglie with cream and strawberries, really delicious, delicate and light. The two girls in particular are fast and kind.

06/07/2025: Paccheri alla positana, my favorite dish!! You can taste the freshness of the fish, the sauce is delicious and the portions are generous. I have always ordered take-out and they have always been punctual and courteous, the dishes arrive still hot, highly recommended!

05/07/2025: Neapolitan-inspired pizza. Crust, but undercooked in the center and a bit rubbery. Average first courses and good prices. Total chaos and almost impossible to talk in the place. Only 2 bathrooms, but at least 4 would be needed, given the turnout. Service ok. Parking impossible.

23/06/2025: Best place in Rome! Always extremely fresh and extremely delicious. The cod sandwiches are something truly unique, definitely worth a special trip to this place. I only wish that other cities had something comparable...

02/07/2025: The quality of the pizza is very good, we went mid-June and, even though there were quite a few people, the Frittini arrived in a few minutes and the pizzas in about ten minutes! Recommended! ;)

23/06/2025: Great food. We really like the pizza dough, Congratulations. The service is always friendly and helpful. The environment, given the building, is very spartan even if well-kept. Simple but good on the outside. Inside, given the shape of the building, it can be a bit noisy if there are a lot of people. Even at the last minute they found us a place even though it was Saturday. I would say everything OK.

26/05/2025: The place is nice and we can't say we ate badly, but: we were extremely disappointed by the fried battered vegetables that only saw the shadow of vegetables; the artichoke and sausage lasagna was good, it's just a shame that the base was a little overcooked; the gnocchi had a smell of laurel that we believe was used to prepare the ragù sauce and for our tastes it was a jarring note; the gratin fennel was very good. Fair prices. P.S. it is not expected that you can reply to the owner's response and so I will explain my comment on the battered vegetables more clearly: there was such a negligible quantity of vegetables (the one with the courgette contained half of a thin round!) that they were in fact fried batters and not fried battered vegetables. I didn't write that the lasagna was burnt - we wouldn't have eaten it - but that the base was a little overcooked. I hope my comment is clearer.

07/04/2025: Wonderful discovery during the visit to the Soratte bunker, which is just a few minutes walk away. Encouraged by the excellent reviews which have been fully confirmed. Informal but very nice restaurant, with an excellent and kind welcome. Menu not at all banal, with very beautiful and tasty dishes; with particular attention to seasonality. Definitely recommended!!!

04/06/2025: My score is based on my last visit, third in a raw. Since I've got a promo pizza omaggio (didn'task for, they presented it to me), decided to reserve and visit the place. At the door was met by a person, who later I got was the owner, who told me that I didn't reserve through the right link and can't use this pizza omaggio now. Considering this really a formality I suggested that right now I click the link he wants and we end up this argument - he regarded this impossible. In the subsequent communication we had, I was informed that this promotion is a marketing approach, I would say trick, for filling-in the restaurant at low times, since it is not such I am not welcome unless pay in full. He spoke a lot about values and fate, and what was really shocking to me is that through his values, customers appear to be nothing more than walking wallets that have to be used in the most efficient way. They or we are considered naives that can also be taken advantage of or fill-in gaps. This ruined my perception about this place and as I clearly stated to the gentlemen he made a returning client like me a lost one. Something which didn't seem to bother him much and which confirms what I wrote above - no customer centricity, embraced by the management here, which for me is crucial for the hospitality industry. To be honest the matter with the pizzas was really small - 2 of them are €15-20 for me, which probably for the owner is an investment of no more than €5-10. But it shows an attitude, which matters for me. Another depiction of this attitude the checkout procedure - you have to go to pay to the bar and get a plastered paper with OUT written on it. Felt a bit like a prisoner, allowed to step out. This paper is to be presented at walk out. Small thing, but also showing the way of thinking of the management here. Customers are considered thiefs, captives, need to be under surveillance. That's pretty, pretty not well. Above that case, I would say that the place is discent, interesting as a concept. The food is average - not great, but also not bad at all. Some things as the grilled calamari and insalata di salmone were really good, some things as the linguine alle scampi e bottarga di muggine and one of the burgers not that good. Vibes here are not my cup of tea. The thing that made me return several times is the waiting staff - met some great professionals hrre, really cooperative and I believe customer focused, some of them speaking English, which is not that often in the area.

06/07/2025: This restaurant offers truly exquisite dishes. The menu is rich and varied, with a wide choice of first courses, second courses, side dishes, pizzas and desserts. You can also find gluten-free pizza, but it is absolutely necessary to call first to ask for availability. It is worth it: it is a real treat, handmade by them and not frozen!

22/06/2025: Artfully prepared food and below average prices. Warning the level of the dessert is definitely lower than the first courses and main courses, common products that can be found everywhere. I felt it as a discordant note.
