I can honestly say I ate the best pasta in Rome here. From the outside, it looked like a small place, but inside it's large and quite elegant. Their tiramisu was also very good.

I ate an excellent cacio e pepe.

A very charming place where we immediately felt at ease. The staff is competent, well-trained, and able to accommodate every guest's request. The food is excellent and the portions are generous. We had tagliolini cacio e pepe and grilled lamb accompanied by a quarter of Cesanese wine! Finally, we couldn't miss the crème brûlée for dessert. The view of the grill as soon as you enter is stunning, and I recommend visiting the wine cellar.

I'll start with the only negative aspect: to park you have to go to the paid public parking lot in front. There's no free parking nearby. Let's get to the positives. Everything. Friendly staff. Super fast service, even too fast 😁 The portions are so generous that they even offer the option of ordering just half a portion. True and authentic Roman cuisine. It's a shame you can't try it all. I had tagliatelle all'amatriciana and tripe alla romana. My wife had linguine cacio e pepe, peppers, and panna cotta. Half a liter of red wine and water. €45 was a total bargain. Don't underestimate the strategic location opposite the Villa Gregoriana, it's spectacular.

This restaurant was recommended by several people and then I understood why. It's a very nice place, the staff are friendly and knowledgeable, and the cuisine is wonderful. They also don't joke about the wines, the typical Lazio cuisine is excellent, the cacio e pepe is amazing, as is the tripe. Highly recommended.

A true Italian restaurant, just the way we like them, with excellent and plentiful food, pleasant and friendly but very efficient service (the waiters are all FBI agents, don't tell!). And all of this creates the kind of atmosphere we love.

June 12, 2026 Almost a year later, we stopped by for lunch again, and it's a confirmation: the atmosphere is still typical and authentic, the staff are incredibly kind and helpful, the food excellent, and the grill is still burning. The Paglia e fieno and Amatriciana are stellar! It's a shame we were in such a hurry, otherwise we would have had a dessert and a glass of wine. 2025 - We stumbled upon it by chance between trains on a Sunday in August, and it was a wonderful discovery! A restaurant that's not at all touristy, with an authentic trattoria atmosphere and truly excellent Lazio cuisine. Tagliolini cacio e pepe and tagliatelle paglia e fieno, all homemade pasta. Mixed berry cheesecake, also made by the chef. Fast service, friendly waiters, and professional with their suggestions. A place where you go to eat well, not to "taste" or have a "sensory experience." Even if we're away, we want to return for the grilled meats; we've promised ourselves we would.
