There were a lot of people, the tables were very close to each other. They served us quickly enough, but it was a bit stuffy. The oxtail was mediocre and the lamb ribs were too dry to cut and were too dry. It’s better to go to la Scala in Trastevere directly opposite, there are much fewer people there and excellent food (I recommend taking caccio e peppe with lime and shrimp). The price is not much different.

excellent lunch, there were three of us and even though there was a long queue to enter we managed to sit outside without waiting too long. excellent first courses, but also the artichoke alla giudia, an experience worth repeating.

This was recommended to us and we had really high expectations, but both pastas we had were not that rich in flavour. House wine was good though and service was excellent

Amazing cacio e pepe, super fast service even though the place was full of people. A special mention to the waiter, Piero, very attentive and friendly despite the rush hour and the queue outside. Absolutely recommended!

I had the Spaghetti Carbonara they were good but not better than in other places. Did not understand the hipe for this restaurant.

Cercavamo un posto semplice e di cucina tipica Romana e devo dire che è stata la scelta perfetta qualità prezzo eccellente cortesia e velocità nel servire. Consiglio vivamente di provarlo.

Ero già stata nel 2019 ed è sempre una conferma. Atmosfera, cibo, qualità del cibo e personale: tutto perfetto. Andrea (futuro dottore) ci ha accompagnato in modo squisito. Da provare e riprovare e riprovare e riprovare ….

15/12/2023: Esperienza meravigliosa, trovata casualmente splendida scoperta, accolti come in famiglia, qualita degli ingredienti top, birre artigianali buonissime, ci torneremo!
09/12/2023: Locale piccolo ma curato, personale tutto gentile e solerte. Fritti molto buoni, asciutti e croccanti. Pizza ottima con impasti leggeri, soffici e digeribili. Le pizze gourmet sono veramente buone e particolari con ingredienti di alta qualità e accostamenti d’effetto. Ottime le birre.

13/03/2024: The place is very nice and the food is very good. The waiters are very kind. The restaurant is surrounded by greenery. I really enjoyed the pool.
13/03/2024: Excellent experience at the Villa Alta restaurant, not being from the area we returned for dinner after a long time discovering that the pizzeria has given way to a restaurant with attention to the smallest details, with a menu that varies according to seasonality and which uses typical products of different regions while remaining faithful to the cuisine of Rome and the Castelli Romani, passing through the wine list where you can find proposals from all the regions and a wait staff attentive to recommending the best combinations, to finish a very elegant and welcoming location. A pleasant re-discovery that will bring us to this restaurant more often despite the distance.
