01/12/2025: I went here for lunch with friends and we immediately knew it was a good place to go because we had to book three days in advance. The three-day wait was worth it. The dishes were all delicious and captured that Roman essence that's slowly disappearing. The wait staff was extremely kind and always ready to suggest dining options. The prices were fair and probably lower than many of the trattorias we visited. Da Emilio is an experience not to be missed if you're in Rome as a tourist like me, because for them, you're not a tourist but a guest.

23/11/2025: I didn't know that chicken cacciatore, Roman-style eggs, and spaghetti with clams and soy were typical Chinese dishes! Rude staff, chicken trio with almonds that tasted like tofu, chicken that didn't arrive, vermicelli in an unidentified sauce that tasted like nothing, everything super spicy and pointless! We had a kind of octopus with vegetables where there were two pieces of octopus and the rest was just dry, tasteless vegetables full of pieces of chili pepper. The restaurant is also a bit expensive for the quality of the food. However, for 3 of us, we paid more than €100 for a terrible meal, and the arrogant and rude guy at the cashier told us if you don't like a dish, don't order it! Genius of the day, if you don't try it, how can you know if you like it or not! Don't worry, we won't set foot in this restaurant again, which in our opinion has nothing original Chinese about it!

06/12/2025: My wife and I went to dinner at this place that someone recommended to me. I don't know if I happened to be there on the wrong night, but things didn't go well at all. We ordered a mixed platter and a half portion of tripe. The platter was very good, no complaints there. The cured meats were good and of high quality. Tripe? It didn't arrive. And so, that can happen on busy nights. Meanwhile, the lights go off and on several times during dinner. And so, technical problems happen. Next, we ordered gricia with pistachios and oxtail stew. The gricia wasn't bad, but my oxtail stew was literally charred. It even smelled burnt. And so, that can happen, so I asked for a replacement. And that's when the real problem happened. They brought it back to me on another plate, with the same burnt smell, and I realized they'd just changed the plate and added a "non-burnt" piece. But the dish still smelled burnt, and there was a piece that was practically charred. And that's not fair. I don't accept the mockery. I send it back and ask for dessert. The disassembled cannoli. Well, it wasn't a disassembled cannoli. A cream with a little Nutella, a splash of pistachio cream, and a broken wafer (not a cannoli wafer) on top. It didn't taste bad, but it had nothing of the cannoli flavor. In the end, after removing the oxtail and tripe, we spent 60 euros. I don't think I'll go back, although I'm sure the grilled meat isn't bad, because when I saw it go by, it looked excellent. But my experience was truly negative.

27/11/2025: For me, this is the best Roman trattoria in Garbatella. Excellent food and generous portions. There were 20 of us and we ate very well. I always love returning.

20/10/2025: This is undoubtedly my favorite restaurant in Ostia. It's located inside the Stagno Park, a truly pleasant location, also suitable for families with children. The food is good, and the waiters are extremely kind and professional: they really do their best to accommodate their customers' requests. Another plus is that the restaurant is open during the holidays: at Christmas and New Year's, they offer a nice menu at a fair price and organize evenings with live music. Personally, I'd think it would be nice, at least for New Year's Eve, to add a small prize or extra detail to make the evening even more special. There are, however, some aspects that, in my opinion, could be improved. For example, the desserts aren't always up to par: the Caprese, in particular, I find a bit dry, and the ones listed on the menu aren't always available. Table availability is also worth considering: even though I'm a regular, if I don't book in advance, I rarely get a seat, as it's often full. Furthermore, the restaurant only offers takeout and pickup, but does not offer home delivery through platforms like Deliveroo or similar. Another small point worth mentioning is that the Fork app is no longer available. While no discounts were offered there, it was still convenient for booking and earning points, which is an added bonus for regular customers. Finally, I noticed that in the past they offered small discounts for loyal customers, but now they don't. It's nothing major, but such a gesture is always appreciated and, in my opinion, it makes those who return often feel valued. Overall, however, I recommend this place for its overall quality, the courtesy of the staff, and their attentive service, even during the holidays. I think a fair rating is 4 out of 5 stars.

24/07/2025: We stopped by Sa di Tappo somewhat by chance, as it's close to where I'm temporarily staying. What a wonderful and unexpected discovery! We ate and drank very well, and the owners treated us like friends. The place is also delicious! Highly recommended, and we'll definitely be back!

06/07/2025: Unfortunately I can't know if it was good. I called to reserve two seats on Saturday evening, the lady who answered the phone with a laconic 'hello' (without even saying the name of the place) first told me no then called me back to tell me that there were two seats. happy I told him we were coming but when I said I had two dogs he suddenly told me he could only put me outside. I said yes but when I arrived, having never been there, I found myself on two high stools and a barrel as a table (nice if you didn't have two dogs that on the stool is not the best). on the sidewalk practically on the road (I thought there was a veranda). at that point my wife said we were leaving because we didn't want to eat in the middle of the smog, the answer was goodbye without even looking at us. (I would like to point out that there were three free tables inside and they didn't seem to be booked) 1 if he didn't want us he could have avoided making us get there (clearly he didn't want dogs, it was enough to say so on the phone) 2 I think that a person with such empathy perhaps shouldn't do this job. I'm sorry because making a criticism is never pleasant, the place seemed nice but this attitude is really ugly and senseless. of course we won't return and we don't recommend it.

21/11/2025: A place you wouldn't expect. Very simple, with indoor and outdoor space. They make round pizzas, pan pizzas, pizza by the slice, and takeout/delivery. They do a lot of work with just... The staff is wonderful, very friendly and kind. The place is very clean. It's not a fancy place for refined eaters, but I can assure you that if you want to eat properly, they make phenomenal Roman-style pizzas. We also had the opportunity to try the fried food, regular supplì, and nduja...truly out of this world, super stringy and crispy on the outside. The pizzas are excellent, with a puffy and crunchy edge, a thin center, cooked to perfection; what can I say...everything is perfect. The prices are super competitive for 5 people, including 5 pizzas, 4 supplì, 2 potatoes, two beers, a Coke, and water, all less than €12 each. Do I recommend it? Yes, yes, and again. I will definitely be back. Great EnGió, congratulations!

03/11/2025: Sometimes the day turns out better than expected. I got a bonus on a website (shown in the photo) and decided to treat myself to dinner. The pasta was wonderful — smooth, aromatic, and with that perfect taste you want to savor.

21/11/2025: Convenient parking in front, fair prices, perhaps even low for the quality and preparation method. The raw seafood was good, the pasta was good, and the appetizers were overall good! The staff was always attentive, kind, and courteous! It was a lovely, delicious lunch! About €100 per person, a more than fair price! See you next time!

01/12/2025: Mapo tofu fried rice pad thai I was sick of wheat flour, but I visited this place three times lol They also do takeout, so I took a lot to my room and ate a lot. If this place didn't exist, my trip would have been difficult ㅠㅠ And it's really cheap ㅠ Most of the menu items are 5 euros Everyone is friendly and nice❤️ If you ask them to make it spicy, they'll make it spicy.

07/12/2025: Vini e Buffet is a very simple wine bar that hides a family restaurant with great potential. The service is a bit aloof but fast, and the place doesn't have many seats, so it fills up quickly. The menu isn't as carefully crafted as the presentation, yet what you get is a true explosion of flavor, especially their tonnarello cacio e pepe. If you find yourself in this place, don't be fooled by its aesthetics; come in, sit down, and enjoy some excellent home-cooked food. Congratulations!

Alas, the quality of the food I ate didn't seem above average... maybe it was a coincidence because it was Saturday? I don't want to think that... or believe that. They can grow, but the quality has to be superior.

08/11/2025: A wonderful discovery!! A very welcoming place with super friendly and courteous staff, it's like being with family!! Excellent dishes, from the starters to the main courses, top-quality pizzas with a truly talented pizza chef, and the burgers are definitely worth trying!!
