🧭 Location Trattoria located in Via Mecenate near the Brancaccio Theater and Piazza Vittorio Emanuele II, quickly reachable from the metro stop of the same name. 🪑 Local The place is a bit small and lacks tables, but all in all there is also space to go with the family or even with a small group of people. 🤵 Personal Friendly and professional, on many occasions they proved to be available and it also happened that they clearly showed how much they wanted to make a good impression. We were also offered a cacio e pepe bruschetta with bacon; courtesy definitely appreciated. 🍽 Menu Rich in starters, first courses, second courses, side dishes and desserts of all kinds. The choice of the first course was difficult, so much so that in the end I decided to enjoy three first courses which did not make me regret the overall final expense. 🥓 Raw material Excellent, in particular unprecedented PGI bacon and pecorino. Trust me, the quality you will find here is not understandable through simple words, you have to experience it first hand. 🍝 First courses (amatriciana PGI, cacio e pepe, carbonara) As mentioned above I "had" to try an amatriciana, a cacio e pepe and a carbonara, all three extraordinary to say the least, I would say sensational. Pasta cooked to perfection, crispy and tasty bacon, more than the right quantities. The skill in executing traditional Roman recipes is clear and evident: the amatriciana is certainly the best I have ever tasted, the cacio e pepe definitely balanced in flavor and the carbonara undoubtedly well made. Impeccable plating, especially beautiful to look at. 🍮 Sweet Warm and filled chocolate soufflé. Nothing to say except the slightly exaggerated price (€5.50) 💶 Score 9/10 I paid the right amount, considering quantity, quality, location and costs of other more well-known restaurants but definitely not comparable to this restaurant. ❗ Conclusion Absolutely recommended, it will be a fixed stop every time I get to visit Rome again. P.S. The quantity and words used in certain negative reviews are incomprehensible, especially from foreign customers who will certainly have had little to do with pasta in their lives and people who were expecting the bill for an aperitif at the bar. I chose it because it was close to my hotel and because of the Google Maps rating. The price is a little high. The seasoning didn't suit my taste.

Yesterday I went to try this trattoria located near the Brancaccio theater and I was struck by the goodness and freshness of the starters. Exceptional first courses, the pappardelle with winter flowers is fabulous. Top.

The real Roman trattoria pappardelle with fabulous wild boar ragù and then the excellent lamb huntsman, the waiters and the owner were super kind and quick in serving too, the prices were average, I'll be back. Optimal

Very good food! Service a bit cold and in a rush! Especially there’s not a lot of people in the restaurant.

Booked for 5 they placed us at two tables for two. Another 5 people who arrived after us and without reservations were placed at a table of 6. Even though there weren't many people at the tables, the service was quite slow. The spaghetti with clams was absolutely tasteless, the Coratella was decidedly good. We were asked how many portions of bread we wanted. Each portion consisted of approximately two half slices of bread and a bag of breadsticks at the modest price of €2 per portion. The price definitely disproportionate to the value of the food and service.

It was only last week that we found this little gem located near the Colosseum in Rome. The primi piatti we had for lunch were excellent, and the conversation we had with the chef was memorable. A place to return to.

Viele Köstlichkeiten aus der römischen Küche finden sich hier, die meisten mit einem neuen Touch. Die Portionen sind wirklich nicht allzu üppig - für mich war das ok, aber große Esser sollten das wissen! Schade, dass auch hier der nächste Gang kommt, wenn man noch am vorherigen am Kauen ist.
