28/08/2025: I had a wonderful meal at the Ristorantino del Castello di Bracciano. I chose an appetizer, a first course, a dessert, and a glass of wine, all truly thoughtful and delicious. The service was impeccable: the waiter Samuel was extremely kind, attentive, and ready to offer recommendations on both the dishes and the wine pairings. A pleasant experience that I definitely recommend!

25/08/2025: Hi, I'm Alessandra. I came for lunch today with my family. A friend and colleague recommended it to me, recommending the food. We ate very well, accompanied by a glass of Chianti and a delicious tiramisu. It was an excellent first course, beautifully cooked. Pappardelle with wild boar ragù was delicious. 24/08/2025: Yesterday we had the pleasure of dining at a truly welcoming hosteria with extraordinary food. The appetizer was one of the best I've tasted in recent memory, so rich and carefully prepared. The first and second courses were also excellent. One detail we really appreciated was the attentiveness of the staff: the pasta we ordered was immediately divided into two separate portions, a truly courteous gesture. The entire staff was attentive, kind, and helpful. We will definitely be back again; it was a wonderful experience! ♥️😋👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

20/08/2025: A welcoming, clean, and efficient place. The dishes are unique, but they cater to all tastes. They even cater to children, offering simpler dishes with homemade pasta. Everything is delicious, well-cooked, well-seasoned, and beautifully presented. What can I say? If I ever come back to Subiaco, I'll definitely be back. Prices are fair, not excessive, but not cheap either, but the important thing is to eat well! Highly recommended.

20/09/2025: My new favorite place. At first glance, the atmosphere and welcoming atmosphere might seem like the restaurant's selling points, but that's only because you haven't tried anything yet. The cuisine is amazing, served in a casual, homey atmosphere. The vibrant wine list has a story to tell if you take the time to listen.

04/09/2025: Today was a messy and tiring day from the start, but eating here made it the perfect day. It was the best meal I've had in Rome. I went for lunch and it was so delicious that I went again for dinner this evening. I think delicious food and a friendly smile really make people happy👍🏻 Everything was delicious, but the dish in the second photo, the risotto with squid and mussels, was the best! 27/08/2025: The best meal we've had in Rome. The menu is small but carefully curated. We ordered the Mediterranean bluefin tuna, which was cooked to perfection and paired with a rich, smoky sauce that balanced the flavours beautifully. For dessert, we enjoyed a mascarpone mousse atop a fresh strawberry glaze. The whole experience was enjoyable and look forward to visiting again.

18/08/2025: You still have a long way to go, in my opinion. I strongly advise the owner to be attentive to his customers. But air conditioning is a must in Rome's summer, and if the door is open, you'll understand it's all pointless. I don't recommend it, despite the social media hype. There are better places in Rome, honestly. What a shame. The quality of the meat wasn't bad, but it's a shame about everything else, which is important for a careful customer like me. Don't forget it. I'll respond to your comment below: I understand everything, but if he had truly paid attention to the customer or even asked what was wrong with my leg, there wouldn't have been any need for my review.

01/08/2025: While visiting Rome, we were looking for a pizzeria near our rental apartment. We were delighted to find this pizzeria! The pizzas are really good, with that crispy, thin crust typical of Roman pizzas. The icing on the cake is that the owner is very friendly and cheerful! We will definitely be back! Thank you!

09/09/2025: I wish I had more than 5 stars to give to this place. I discovered their rice gelato nearly 20 years ago and it is still as good today as it was that first time. It’s like they took an incredible rice pudding and froze it. I’ve never had gelato so good. On my last trip I went as many times as I could and still can’t get enough. The rice flavors especially blew my mind. The folks working here are very kind, and offer some unexpected but delightful pairing suggestions.

28/08/2025: We were seated immediately and given water, but that was the only positive part of the experience. We then waited over 20 minutes before anyone came to our table. When someone finally arrived, there was no welcome, no explanation of the menu—just a curt “give us your order.” We asked about drinks and were told the sommelier would come by, but after another 15 minutes no one ever showed up. At that point, we gave up. In total, we sat from 8:45 to 9:20 and had nothing but water. Meanwhile, every other table seemed to have 3–4 staff attending to them, which made us feel completely ignored and unwelcome. When we explained we were leaving, the response was dismissive and full of attitude. We’ve dined at multiple Michelin-starred restaurants across Italy, and the service has been outstanding everywhere else. Here, it was the worst experience of our trip. Honestly, the pizza place across the street that we settled on was far more welcoming and ultimately enjoyable.

28/08/2025: From the moment we arrived, the experience was confusing and unwelcoming. The restaurant doors were locked with no instructions on how to enter, and there was nobody at the reception area to greet us. We were seated right away once we got inside and given water, but oddly, it was placed on a side table out of reach, leaving us to get up and refill our own glasses since nobody came back to do it for us. After that, we sat for more than 20 minutes without anyone approaching us. I tried to make eye contact several times and couldn’t even meet eyes with a single employee. When a server finally did come over, there was no warmth or hospitality, just a blunt “give us your order.” We asked about drinks and were told they take your food order first at this restaurant, which was weird considering the table next to us had wine and food menus when we sat down. We were told by the server that a sommelier would come by after placing the food order, but no one ever did. Instead, another staff member dropped off a few breadsticks after 30+ minutes with no drinks or food, with no acknowledgment of the missing drink order, curtly told me to move my menu out of his way. I explained it was still there because I hadn’t been able to order a drink, but he couldn’t have cared less. The entire interaction felt dismissive and rude. All the while, other tables had multiple staff members hovering over them, making the lack of attention to us even more glaring. When we finally decided to leave, the staff’s response was apathetic at best, and again, delivered with attitude. We’ve visited several Michelin restaurants across Italy, and the service has always been extraordinary. This, however, was the worst dining experience of our trip. For a restaurant with such a reputation, the indifference and rudeness were shocking. In the end, the casual pizza place across the street treated us far better and was infinitely more enjoyable.
