I think I ate one of the best fried artichokes in the world.
In addition to the à la carte menu, the restaurant offers both meat and fish tasting menus.
Perfect service with spot-on wine recommendations.
For a romantic dinner, it's a great choice. Highly recommended.

19/04/2026: The setting and atmosphere are unique....the food is excellent, and the staff are extremely attentive and courteous, making you feel at ease. If you come to Bracciano, you absolutely must stop at this restaurant; you'll have a wonderful time.
18/04/2026: Right below the castle of this village is this splendid, informal restaurant with a menu of meat and seafood. Reservations are recommended, regardless of what's on the menu. Friendly staff and outdoor seating. For dessert, I recommend the "basket." Prices are reasonable for the food served.

10/05/2026: I've always heard of Pizzando, but I'd never been there despite its proximity.
Now that I've discovered it (we've discovered it), I'm hooked!
Let's start with the amazing staff! 3 wonderful women, super attentive and helpful, and with a family like mine, full of allergies, that's not to be taken for granted! They're attentive to everything! Fabulous menu, I can't wait to try their fish dishes!
Excellent quality food and ingredients. Absolutely nothing to complain about!
Absolutely fair prices!
In short, 10 stars!

12/04/2026: A more than satisfying Sunday lunch. The welcome and cleanliness were impeccable. We ordered the mezze maniche alla gricia, which were very good, as were the artichokes alla romana. Well done, we'll definitely be back and recommend it to anyone who doesn't want to stop at the usual restaurants on Bracciano's main streets, which are packed to the brim and noisy, but prefers a small, quiet, and secluded place.
The price didn't disappoint either.

07/05/2026: I ate there for lunch: a very nice place (I sat on the terrace), the mussel sauté was delicious, and the pappardelle with wild boar was also delicious. The girl who served me was very kind, attentive, and helpful.

05/01/2026: A wonderful discovery, excellent staff, a unique, warm, and welcoming location, especially the cellar where we had our aperitif, with its niches carved into the tuff rock. The dishes were one surprise after another, with unusual flavor combinations that truly made a difference, not to mention the freshness and quality of the ingredients. I will definitely be back.

10/03/2026: We arrived in Bracciano on Sunday evening and this place was our choice. Even though we weren't really dressed for the occasion and didn't have a reservation, we were welcomed warmly. The whole place has a very nice atmosphere. A restaurant with a real romantic atmosphere! The service and the food are both first class! Their burrata appetizer was simply brilliant!
If you're in Bracciano, don't miss this place!😍

29/03/2026: What can I say...I confirm the excellent previous reviews, both regarding the food—excellent and plentiful—and the welcoming and clean venue, but above all, the hospitality, courtesy, and helpfulness of the staff dedicated to service.
The setting of the villa is truly beautiful; we'll definitely be back in the summer to fully enjoy it.
Everything was perfect, the only "flaw" being the coffee in a plastic cup ;-)
22/03/2026: A very positive review, very good food and wonderful staff, especially the gentleman, who was very kind and patient despite there being 28 of us. Congratulations, the only thing I regret is not taking the waitress's Instagram. She had a beautiful smile on her face as I left. I never saw her again. It's a shame, but I recommend everyone to come here.

27/04/2026: The quality has declined compared to the past, but the prices have risen, and by quite a bit. I don't recommend the apericena option (a cold cuts and cheese platter, fries, and Ascoli olives + a good Montanara with a small pizza slice between them; there were four of us, and they gave us, I think, less than half a pizza peel), which we paid around €23.50 each.
26/03/2026: Striscia's pizza is now a guarantee: thin and crunchy, well-topped, easy to digest, and delicious. Always top-notch, whether you order it for takeout or dine-in. A well-kept, clean, and elegant place, perfect for an evening with friends or family. The team is close-knit, well-organized, fast, and efficient, and it's fun to watch them at work during the short wait for a freshly made pizza. A perfect machine that churns out delicious treats you must try. There's a reason it's been around for over 30 years! 😜

14/02/2026: I've been eating here for a few years now. The owner is always available, explaining what's being cooked and how it's being cooked. The pizza, appetizers, first courses, and desserts are always a guarantee.
03/01/2026: We had lunch at this well-maintained and warmly welcomed restaurant. This is our second time there. I also had the very good ribollita with antipasti and bruschetta. We'll be back when we can. Thank you.
