19/02/2026: Unprofessional and rude. I called to see if there was availability in five or six months, and was treated as if I had no right to ask. They essentially told me I woke up late, in an extremely rude and annoyed manner. It's fine to point it out if that was the case, but there are ways and means, since I asked very politely. Excellent strategy for losing customers.
15/02/2026: Had a great time, a few minor inconveniences that didn't end up compromising the experience. Friends of mine celebrated their wedding, but absolutely loved the desserts and especially the locally (right in front of you) handmade cannoli and mozzarella. There was a baby station in the male bathroom (yay). But the only hiccup happened with the organization of the staff, due to terrible weather we moved the cake indoors and the entrance was chosen for the pictures and all, but too overcrowded, it would have been much better to move it in the larger rooms inside where more people could have gathered more easily. Except for that? Lovely.

07/04/2026: A truly disappointing experience. It was Easter Monday and we wanted to enjoy a quiet lunch, but we were served at an absurd speed: one course after another without even having time to breathe, let alone savor the dishes.
The worst part was the owner's behavior: rude and unprofessional. He practically forced us to add more to the appetizer, insisting that otherwise it would be "too little," clearly making us uncomfortable.
To make matters worse, as soon as we finished, the POS was brought directly to our table, with an attitude that clearly implied we needed to leave immediately.
An experience that had nothing to do with the conviviality and relaxation a restaurant should offer. I do not recommend it.

for families, couples, or young groups with reservations.
08/03/2026: I ate at this restaurant with my friends and everything was delicious!!
We had a mix of appetizers to share; some of us had polenta and others had meat. Everything was truly excellent!
We'll definitely be back.

18/02/2026: Only one flaw: the date we chose for the wedding was already booked, forcing us to look again.
For us, it was definitely the best choice: a delightful villa with a garden, a large room for hosting friends and family, and a fair price.
I'm not evaluating the food because the tasting was interrupted when we discovered the villa's availability on the date, and therefore, it would be an incomplete evaluation.
26/10/2025: Yesterday I celebrated my daughter's First Communion and everything was perfect! From the buffet to the lunch, every dish was prepared with care and love. The flavors were intense and balanced, and the presentation was impeccable. But what made the experience even more special was the extremely friendly and professional staff. They made us feel at home, with Andrea, the head waiter, attentive and always available. Compliments to the chef and all the staff! The villa is spacious and the garden beautiful. An unforgettable day thanks to you! Highly recommended!!

27/10/2025: Welcoming atmosphere and super friendly staff! The cacio e pepe is a must-try: creamy, flavorful, and perfect. The carbonara is also truly worth it. Super fresh ingredients and fast service. Excellent value, I'll definitely be back!

20/04/2026: At an event in Marino on April 19th, we were offered two "special" menus at a facility (Wine Museum) managed by the For De Porta restaurant, evidently due to a lack of seating in the main restaurant. The menus offered were €10 and €15: unfortunately, they were pre-packaged doggy bags stacked up, ready for distribution, at the entrance to this makeshift "cellar" for catering. Naturally, the first course (ricotta cannelloni instead of lasagna as promised when booking) was COLD. The rest of the food, as you can see from the photos, was sparse and of terrible quality. The eagerly awaited porchetta was a miserable, dry, and stale slice. A terrible experience, as we were treated like typical tourists who need to be fleeced.

22/03/2026: Excellent restaurant/trattoria in Marino, a beautiful town in the province of Rome, not far from Lake Albano. A truly charming place, with a vintage feel, reminiscent of historic Roman trattorias. The homemade pasta is truly delicious, the polenta is also excellent, and the grilled main courses are truly succulent. Friendly staff, prices are perhaps a little high, but it's a truly wonderful experience.

I stayed because it was close to a clinic, a very difficult time for me. However, I found the staff welcoming, sensitive, and kind, in harmony with this elegant and discreet location.
