02/06/2026: Refined, delicate, and balanced. A truly excellent restaurant.

24/05/2026: We returned to Forma, and it was completely confirmed. Dinner for two, a cozy and quiet atmosphere—just what we were looking for. The chef's contemporary Italian cuisine is surprising without being artificial: the dish of the day, a grilled entrecôte agricole, was simply spot on. Cooking, ingredients, balance—nothing more. The wine list deserves a special mention. We chose a Scarpe Toste from Cantina Le Macchie in Castelfranco Rieti, a 14.5% ABV Gewurztraminer from Lazio that's hard to find elsewhere—not because there's a shortage of excellent wines close to home, but because few seek them out. Here, however, you can find them, and it shows. The detail that won us over was a small, almost banal gesture: at the end of dinner, the chef noticed our empty water glasses and refilled them himself, without anyone even saying a word. It's that kind of attention that separates a real place from just any old one. There's little to say about the price: for 20-25 euros less per person, you can eat at the pub these days. Here, you eat well, drink better, and feel at ease from start to finish. We'll be back.

For me, who's picky, the quality of the food isn't up to par; cocktails, wines, and beers are okay; the welcome and service are very good. Reasonable price/quality ratio, generous portions!

29/05/2026: I walked into this restaurant 4 years ago as it looked very homemade, and I wasn’t disappointed, and even got to meet the chef So, today, I went back and the 👩‍🍳 was still here and the food was absolutely delicious, fresh, simple but full of homemade flavor (as you can see that I ordered 2 main courses) 🐏❤️🇮🇹🍝

09/06/2026: Good place for breakfast on Civitavecchia. The staff is very friendly. Mostly are local and regular customers coming in for a quick coffee fix and pastries for breakfast. They have plenty of standing area inside the café and outside seating area behind the cafe for smoking customers. Plenty of choices for pastries and coffee. The coffee in Italy is just so good. Much better than those in US. The price range is very affordable. We ordered 2 cappuccino and 2 maritozzi (Brioche bun with cream filling). The size of these buns are not big. I could have consumed 2 in 1 serving. Total price for our breakfast was €6.40. Taste so delicious. I added pictures of menu they have in the café. I couldn't find them in this review, I hope you will find these useful.

09/05/2026: Just did a cooking class here and Matteo was amazing. Even learning kinda last minute that I'm vegetarian posed no problems - he had substitutions ready and on hand. The vibe is amazing inside and looking at the menu I would have so many options - not what I would expect in a port town!

09/04/2026: My daughter and I took a cooking class here. This was so much fun and very hands on. They took the time to show us step by step and let us experience cooking multiple courses in a professional kitchen. We got to pick and buy our own ingredients from the market which made the experience so special. Matteo was amazing working with kids as well. I highly recommend this to everyone of all ages

09/03/2026: Nice little place with just a few tables, the service was my bare minimum, and I haven't had the pleasure of using the bathroom, but I had warned the owner, and I'd recommend generous portions. He replied, "They're like tavern portions!" Even though the sauce was undercooked, and you could taste the tomato paste, and the strazzapreti... delicious, homemade, were few... and not cheap either, €14... in short, I warned the owner, but he didn't have a star rating... I'll try it again when I return to Civitavecchia.

15/06/2026: But is the executioner at the cash register? €1.50 service charge for bringing pizza by the slice to a shared bench with a paper tray, dirty glasses, and a disposable placemat. I'd say it's excessive. There's no price listed anywhere. One slice of pizza per person, one peroni per half, and one suppli per half (filled with an unrecognizable mush) is more than €10 per person! Anyway, this is the first time in my life I've been charged service at a pizza by the slice.

14/06/2026: I understand that you try to scam foreigners as much as possible, as a Roman I felt truly indignant, offended, my husband and daughter, 3 slices of pizza, 1 supplì and 1 small bottle of water, bill 30 euros and 4.50 for cover charge! Shocking, mine was truly disgusting, the courgettes tasted only of vinegar and inside there were 2 enormous cloves of garlic, shameful bathroom to vomit, speechless.

04/12/2025: We were two French couples having lunch at this friendly, welcoming restaurant where we received a warm welcome. The food was delicious, the service a true pleasure, and the prices excellent value for money. This couple who own the restaurant provided us with a wonderful and enjoyable experience, being so attentive and friendly. We loved it!

29/11/2025: Truly delicious Apulian delicacies, excellent service, friendliness, love, and passion that you can see, feel, and taste in every dish! And last but not least, in addition to the Apulian pasticciotto, there are excellent desserts from a superb Neapolitan pastry shop! We'll be back again and again! 👏🫶
