03/10/2025: I rarely write reviews—good or bad—as I’ve always felt that my single experience may not reflect an establishment as a whole. But after spending three wonderful nights at Hotel Locarno with my wife and 3-year-old son, I feel certain that what we experienced is not unique to us, but the true spirit of this hotel. To begin with, the property itself is stunning. The rooms are beautiful and thoughtfully designed, the breakfast was delicious and satisfying for all of us (including our little one), and the evening aperitivi were always a delight. Every aspect of the amenities and atmosphere was exceptional. Then there is the location - to us, the location could not be beat. What truly set Hotel Locarno apart, however, was the people. From the playful and warm Davide, to the kind and gracious Maurizio, to the cheerful and informative Ricardo—every single person we met radiated genuine care and kindness. The professionalism, warmth, and personal attention we received were unlike anything we’ve experienced in other hotels, whether in the US or abroad. Traveling with a lively 3-year-old can sometimes be a challenge, yet the staff treated him with patience, joy, and understanding. It’s one thing to extend kindness to adults who know the unspoken etiquette of a place, but to welcome a young child with such generosity and grace is something truly rare—and deeply appreciated. We will absolutely be returning to Hotel Locarno and hope to make it our home base for longer stays in the future. Until then, we will fondly remember this beautiful hotel and the remarkable people who made our time there so special.

01/10/2025: This is a great little gem of a hotel for you to consider when staying in Rome. It's celebrating its 100th anniversary in 2025, so expect the quirky charm of an older establishment. The staff is attentive and courteous, and English isn't a problem if your Italian isn't up to par. Our corner room was large, as well as the bathroom. The claw foot tub was cool, but it made the shower less than luxurious (and a lot of water on the floor). Charming bar/restaurant seating area with a retractable roof. Located a few blocks from the Spanish Steps.

06/08/2025: This isn't my first time eating here. Last night, we were with friends and ordered everything from the menu, including the vegan options. The food was excellent, impeccably cooked. We were all satisfied, having a pleasant evening and eating excellently. The quality/price ratio was more than fair. Well done, guys.

18/08/2025: It's a guarantee! At lunchtime, you can enjoy an excellent first course at a truly affordable price. The express cuisine offers tasty and delicious options. The family-run business makes it a very informal place where you'll immediately feel at home. One of my favorites for both business lunches and dinners with friends. The free parking in the district opposite makes it a great option in an area with limited parking.

14/08/2025: A very, very warm welcome. We were lost, waiting for the Air B&B key, and they welcomed us before their opening time, while we waited. Very warm. Very good family meals. We ate more than we were hungry for. We definitely recommend it!

03/10/2025: The reputation of The Hassler is not exaggerated. We recently spent 2 days there. I won't repeat all the wonderful things people have said. I agree with them all. I want to give a shout out to Antonina at the reception. I became ill on the flight over to Rome. When we arrived at the hotel early in the morning, our room was not ready. Upon seeing my condition, Antonina did not hesitate to find us a hospitality room so I could rest. She walked us into the breakfast area and came back to escort us up to the hospitality room. After a long and difficult plane ride, what she did that morning saved me. Your kindness was greatly appreciated! I am so happy that you were there to help me. Thank you. 21/09/2025: We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hotel Hassler Roma. Everyone we encountered was welcoming and provided us with an exceptional experience. The view from the 7the floor terrace was incredible. The breakfast each morning was such delightful way to begin the day. The accommodations were spacious and comfortable and the location in Rome is perfect. We will look forward to returning.

25/08/2025: As good as the food is, the waiters are definitely the restaurant's best asset: impeccable, kind, and knowledgeable. Excellent dishes and generous portions. Fair prices. An appetizer and a fish-based main course cost about €25 per person. This is a truly worthwhile restaurant. It will become a regular stop.

03/09/2025: Absolutely wonderful. The server Simon was so nice and friendly. Any question is going to be answered. Even remembered me and my friend! If you're looking for a nice place to have dinner right after a long day, this is the place to go.

05/07/2025: From cocktails to dinner everything was excellent and quality food!! Super staff!! Update: After a year or so that I hadn't gone because I had a bad experience the other night we saw that the "old" bartender or in any case the girl who runs the place had returned and as if by magic everything went as it once was, very kind staff, fabulous cocktails, perfect service!! So for those like us who hadn't gone because we had a bad experience, COME BACK because it's really worth it!!!

29/06/2025: A point of reference in Centocelle! I often go to Brikke for breakfast and every time it is a pleasure. The environment is welcoming, the staff is always very kind and helpful. They have an excellent selection of croissants, pizzas and even spit-roasted meat - ideal both for starting the day well and for a quick but tasty lunch. The quality is always high and you can feel the attention to detail. Highly recommended for those who are in the area or want to discover a nice place in Centocelle!

07/09/2025: Extremely friendly staff, welcomed and served by Andrea, who was extremely kind and friendly, and by Asia, who was very kind and sweet. We had an excellent carbonara cooked by Neapolitan chef Carlo. Creamy with crispy bacon. Truly top-notch!

05/09/2025: My sister and I went here as it was popular on TikTok. The service was super friendly and atmosphere was great. The food was okay.. puttanesca had delicious flavour and would recommend - tasty and worth it! The cacio pepe, not so much as it doesn’t work with vegan ingredients. The spaghetti was too thick and felt like Heinz spaghetti can. Overall, not a bad option for vegan Italian food.
