My daughter just loved the caprese sandwich, without the salad, of course. She kept asking to go back to this place, even thought we were accommodated 15 minutes away. The ladies preparing it were very kind. Grazie!

Best quick bite we had in Rome. A great panini (far better than some hyped places) good fillings, lots of it and quality too! Friendly staff. They do take out for food and drinks, and there's a park across the road to eat if you wish .

I stopped by Bon Bar on Via Arenula for an evening aperitivo and was truly impressed. The place has the charm of a neighborhood deli-bar: small and intimate, yet with great attention to detail and quality ingredients. What really made my experience memorable was the cocktail I ordered: well-balanced, with niche ingredients and a surprising freshness for such an informal bar. The bartender (I presume Pino, from the other patrons' accounts) is clearly talented: creative yet authentic mixology, without exaggeration, with a noticeable personal touch. The service was courteous and attentive, without being intrusive. The atmosphere is also pleasant: discreet music, a relaxed background that encourages conversation. The place, despite being compact, doesn't feel overly crowded, and maintains that welcoming, "familiar" feel. Another plus is the food selection: I glanced at the counter, filled with generous sandwiches, quality Calabrian ingredients, and rustic specialties. Online reviews suggest the sandwiches are also excellent, made with authentic and carefully selected ingredients. The prices are fair, especially considering the central location and the quality of the experience. The aperitif and cocktails offered are excellent value. In short, Bon Bar is a perfect stop if you're looking for a simple yet classy place for a refined drink in a warm, non-touristy atmosphere. I'll definitely be back to try more cocktails... and maybe even a sandwich.

We received such a warm welcome and ate such delicious paninis on the day we arrived that we came back the next day and were greeted with the same friendly approach. See you again on our next trip to Rome. Ciao!

I really stopped in, I really stopped in. There's so much stuff! The piadinas are truly spectacular! Very plentiful and the price is very normal in the Largo Argentina area.
