31/01/2026: Inspired by the excellent reviews, we decided to celebrate my husband's birthday at this restaurant. The only way to book was through the website, where they require advance payment (we opted for the €110 per person deal for six courses plus wine pairing), but we later understood why. Once we arrived, we realized the place was absolutely subpar, with a bad smell and inadequate bathrooms. But let's move on to the menu: bombastic, pretentious, and with unpleasant flavors, a "I'd like to but I can't" attitude, accompanied by subpar wines for each course (we looked up the labels online). Incredulous, we reached dessert, which we left untouched, and we left disappointed, realizing that most of the positive reviews are fake. One last point: the photos on the website are misleading and completely out of line with reality. Our only regret is that the waitress was helpful, however.

31/01/2026: The care put into both the food and the service really stood out. Everything tasted incredibly fresh, like it came straight from the farm. The staff treated us so warmly, it felt like we’d been coming there for years.

27/02/2026: Better than the castles! Discovered completely by chance, this place turned out to be an excellent choice. The atmosphere is informal and welcoming, characterized by the typical convivial atmosphere of an osteria. Added to this is the fast and efficient service, managed by a staff renowned for their extreme courtesy and helpfulness. The culinary offering is broad and well-structured: alongside many classic Roman dishes, the menu features some interesting reinterpretations and exclusive dishes from the chef, capable of enriching the experience.

12/04/2026: A pleasant surprise! So many artfully crafted desserts that it almost seemed a shame to eat them. The pistachio ones were truly delicious! I'll definitely be back and recommend it to anyone who hasn't tried it yet. 😊

11/04/2026: I stopped by a few days ago, but there wasn't much choice, though it was late afternoon. Other times, I've definitely had the chance to try not only the cakes, but also the delicious cookies with various toppings, and other sweet treats. This time, I only had two macarons, which were very good.

25/04/2026: The restaurant is very pretty inside, simple yet charming. I had the trippa fritta which was sublime: well seasoned and perfect amount of breading, followed by the amatriciana which also was amazing. Service was very friendly and reactive.

04/06/2026: Bar with good internet connection. It was quiet and not very crowded. Decent coffee. Clumsy museum-style decor. In the center of Ostia and a stone's throw from the beach.

02/06/2026: We stopped here for dinner by chance and the food was good. We all ordered pizzas and the dough was tasty and they were very fast. The problem was that I asked for my pizza without anchovies and they forgot to remove them, but oh well, it was still fine.

25/05/2026: I've been there twice recently. Amazing pizza and fried food, high-quality ingredients, equally good service, and old-fashioned prices. It's become our official pizzeria. Congratulations!

24/04/2026: A nice, quiet place run by a guy who truly knows his stuff about beer and the food he prepares. The beers are truly excellent, and the meat served in the sandwiches is a real plus. The vegetarian/vegan option is a real pleasure. It's truly a pleasure to see someone who works with passion.

12/06/2026: Perfect if you'd like a gluten-free sandwich! The menu is extensive. The staff were great and spoke good English. In summer '26 the pricing is around €8 per sandwich and the gluten free bread was an additional €2.50 per sandwich order. They also had vegetarian options.

04/05/2026: I stayed and dined at Benito al Bosco, and the experience was truly delightful. The property, nestled in the woods, has an '80s style but is well-maintained and perfectly in keeping with the natural surroundings. To reach it, you travel along narrow roads, which can make crossings with other vehicles a bit tricky, but this is a characteristic of the area, not the property itself, and it also contributes to the place's charm. The entrance is very charming, decorated with numerous photos of famous people (politicians, singers, footballers, actors), which tell the story of the place. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and well-maintained, with clean bathrooms equipped with everything you need. The property has ample parking, with the option, if available, of using some spaces right in front of the entrance. The restaurant was a pleasant surprise: the menu isn't overly extensive but is well-thought out, with both meat and fish options. We tried both options, and the quality was excellent. The capriccio di mare and the pacchero storico were particularly delicious. We also appreciated the variety of breads available. The service was fast, attentive, and above all very friendly. There's also a swimming pool and the option to eat both inside and outside, depending on the season. A truly pleasant stay, made even better by the kindness and helpfulness of the staff. Breakfast wasn't huge, especially on the savory side, but it was still good quality: the crostata and Sacher torte were very good.

02/05/2026: The restaurant is decorated in a 1990s style, but the cuisine is top-notch! The menu isn't overwhelming, allowing guests to choose from a variety of options, all intriguing and never predictable. Service is provided by expert staff who pleasantly guide guests through the menu! We ate fish, and it was all delicious! A well-known and highly regarded restaurant that maintains its reputation.

03/05/2026: Such a disappointment :(( came here with high hopes based on reviews… well, the staff are lovely, the atmosphere is friendly and relaxed, nice experience seeing your food prepared in front of you… but pasta was a disaster. No taste of its own which was attempted to hide by huge amount of hot spices. Sticky to the paper plate, so at some point you start eating paper. Plus I’ve had an awful heartburn afterwards. I truly hope I was just unlucky as so many good reviews cannot be fake! I honestly wish this place to prosper and correct all the unfortunate things they might have now.

26/04/2026: It's great for both eating and taking home. It's sold by the kilo. You can buy half-kilogram packages and make it at home. Always fresh. No pasaran 🚩

05/01/2026: It was a quite while I didn't get pinsa here but it definitely got better. Always very busy at the weekend but worth the wait!
