16/03/2024: We came for dinner on Friday, I have known this place for as long as I can remember, the fish is always very fresh but I am sorry to say that that shop window is not at all inviting even though the fish inside is very fresh, seeing the DIRTY shop window made people turn up their noses. The dinner went well except for the fact that on the menu it was written mixed seafood starter €25 min for two, when ordering the dishes the waiter tells us that we should have taken 2 and that is €50 for two, specifying that actually on the menu everything was badly written for 1 prawn, 1 scampi, 1 meatball, 1 small aubergine parmigiana (without the fish inside), 1 fillet of amberjack, 2 small slices of tuna, calamari with stew (which at the first bite had a fishy smell yes I felt like it was a few days old and in fact it was butter in my mouth, which is why squid is crunchy when fresh) and then two other little things. The first ones were science fiction

16/02/2024: We had booked this restaurant after searching on Google for a place to eat fish. There were inviting photos, too bad that when we got there, there was only meat on the menu. They had changed management six months earlier and also the type of dishes, but the restaurant continues to appear among the fish ones. The food wasn't bad, but not one to return.

16/02/2024: Avevamo prenotato in questo ristorante dopo aver cercato su Google un locale dove mangiare pesce. C’erano foto invitanti, peccato che quando siamo arrivati là, nel menu c’era solo carne. Avevano cambiato gestione sei mesi prima e anche tipologia di piatti, però il ristorante continua a figurare tra quelli di pesce. Il cibo non è stato male, ma non da tornare.

28/03/2024: Chinese cooking. Very good food. Fast service, nice and comfortable environment, friendly and welcoming staff. Honest prices. The two of us ate three starters, two first courses, a soup, water and service and we paid €13 each. As a complimentary gift, we were served a small welcome appetizer, sunflower seeds and a fortune cookie. Advised!

23/03/2024: We had dinner at Eugenio's restaurant. First time. The restaurant offers a culinary experience of excellent quality, enriched by impeccable service. The place is warm, on a Saturday night even though it was full there was no confusion. Minimum waiting times. Well set table, comfortable seat. Glasses cleaned and carefully arranged. The staff is welcoming and smiling, helping to create a friendly atmosphere from the moment you arrive. The appetizer, to be placed in the center, with a cost of around €20, is made up of ham, gorgonzola, roasted fennel (exquisite) and pecorino, they are a real delight for the palate. Pumpkin, aubergines and other land products were present. The combination of flavors is balanced and each ingredient is top quality, highlighting the attention to detail in the preparation of the courses. The presentation is refined and reflects the attention that the kitchen places in presenting a simple course. the environment is comfortable and informal, ideal for an evening or lunch. Price Absolutely normal. Well done.

17/03/2024: First and, at the moment, only time in Velletri. We honestly chose this place at random, but we were REALLY LUCKY. Delicious food with attention to detail; I ate with great pleasure even things that I normally don't prefer because they were very well made. My children who usually make a fuss and don't finish their plate cleaned up everything and left me nothing (damn them!). They have a young but very knowledgeable and kind sommelier who assists you on the pairing of wines depending on the dishes you are ordering. Fast service (no long waits). The owner is so friendly, kind and nice to the children that for me she could have been a close relative, like an aunt. Prices commensurate with the quality and atmosphere. I recommend La Vecchia Taverna to anyone passing through Velletri.

29/02/2024: If I could give 6 stars I would. Exquisite food, super-trained and passionate staff, excellent wines and spirits in general. I will definitely come back on my next business trip.

01/04/2024: On Sunday evening, for Easter, I went with my mother to the Locanda, where we go every now and then to enjoy the delicious fish dishes, always prepared with so much passion. We took two menus with 6 appetizers, two first courses, turbot with baked potatoes, salad, fruit (the one in the photo), coffee, wine and colomba, per person. Paid 50 euros each. The quality is excellent and we always find professionalism and availability. In the photo, I also publish another dish that I love very much, tagliolini with lobster. We highly recommend La Locanda da Pino, which is family-run. Among other things, it is also easily accessible because it is on the road, in front of the train and public transport station, and close to the historic centre.

The service is attentive, friendly and up to the task even with a packed house on Sundays. The idea of ​​a children's play area is excellent. Ample and free parking, adjacent to the venue.

06/04/2024: Always a guarantee. Da Baffone is a jewel in the crown of the Castelli Romani restaurant scene. Historic venue impeccably cared for, where there is meticulous attention to detail and a service carried out with great professionalism, seriousness and competence: from the welcome in the concierge room and reception to the dining room staff. Ample parking. Delicious and elaborate dishes, I would like to highlight my favorites in particular: focaccia, pinsa and boscaiola pizza. Even as regards the first courses, they reserve some real gems for us with their specialty, porcini mushrooms. I'm not a meat lover in general, but I have to admit that they know how to cook it really well until it's as tender as butter. What more can I say? I return every time with great joy, because here you not only delight your palate but you also enjoy pleasant entertainment and spend a surprising evening full of light-heartedness and good humor. Highly recommended.

01/04/2024: Cold environment, hasty and unwelcoming waiters, slow in bringing out the dishes and above all mixing up the deliveries, they brought us things from other tables and our orders did not arrive. Crazy prices, fish first courses with minced meat inside and when asked for an explanation the response was "which often happens to us in the kitchen". Inedible desserts. Embarassing!!!!

24/03/2024: Enchanting location in a private and quiet setting a few km from the center of Velletri. Very kind, attentive and helpful staff. Fish specialties in a rather traditional form for lovers of the flavors of the past and with top quality raw materials, all at the right price. A lit fireplace, a gem that is certainly not to be taken for granted, for an enveloping atmosphere in the evening.
