09/08/2026: We went to this restaurant for Sunday lunch, recommended by someone who'd been there many years ago. Unfortunately, what was supposed to be a simple Sunday lunch turned into a decidedly negative experience, with a series of poor service after another. There were four of us, and the dining room was practically empty: there were only three other tables besides ours, so it certainly wasn't a crowded place or that the staff were struggling with the number of customers. The waitress came to the table immediately to take our orders, but unfortunately she hadn't even brought us the menus. An oversight? It can happen, no problem. After finally receiving them, we ordered two portions of the house appetizer to share between the four of us, and a first course each. The appetizers arrived, and we realized that two portions, which we'd ordered thinking we'd have a lot, were actually quite small and comprised of dishes that were difficult to share between four. We made do and let it slide, thinking that after all, this was just the beginning. Then the first courses began to arrive, and here the real problems began: two courses were served at once, a third arrived about five minutes later, and the last one took a whopping 20 minutes. The result? One of the four people practically ate alone, while the others had already finished. What's even more absurd is that, just before the last course arrived, we asked a waiter how the pasta was. Furthermore, the kitchen was perfectly visible from the dining room because the doors were open, and we noticed that, at that very moment, they had hastily started preparing the remaining pasta, giving the impression that they had simply forgotten about it. The dish arrived without a word, without an apology, or even an explanation. As for my pasta, I had ordered tagliatelle with truffles for €14.50. I received very simple tagliatelle topped with a truffle sauce that tasted very similar to that of a packaged product. Nothing particularly elaborate, no interesting flavor, no preparation that justified the price. Simply pasta with truffle sauce. After finishing our first course, we realized we were still hungry, so we ordered arrosticini with two portions of fries. The arrosticini were practically rubbery and completely tasteless. So tasteless that, to get some salt, we had to get up and go get it ourselves, since no one seemed to care at our table. The fries, on the other hand, were completely greasy: the oil literally dripped from them when you picked them up. It's hard to call them fries presented in acceptable condition. At this point, the review could end here. And instead, here comes the icing on the cake. We get up to pay and position ourselves in front of the register. And what do we find? The entire staff, including the waiters and kitchen staff, are sitting at the table eating. We are in front of the register waiting to pay, while they calmly continue eating, watching us. Two minutes pass. Then five. Then ten. No one bothers to come to the register, even though it was obvious we were waiting to pay. At that point, tired of the situation and frankly quite incredulous, we left the restaurant without paying to go have a cigarette, intending to return in a few minutes to see if, finally, someone would notice we were there. We went back inside, and finally, the waitress made us pay. She must have realized we'd been standing at the register for about 10 minutes while the rest of the staff continued calmly eating. We definitely won't be returning, and I wouldn't recommend this restaurant to anyone.
