13/05/2026: Very cute and intimate restaurant. Excellent food and impeccable service. The appetizer is a must-try because it's exceptional and changes seasonally. But everything is delicious, and it truly feels like being at home. Recommended for both families and couples. Parking is easy.

01/02/2026: Everything was truly delicious, from the raw fish tasting to the steaks to the desserts. The revisited Jewish-style artichokes with a special sauce were also excellent. The rustic atmosphere was very nice... just a little noisy.

24/01/2026: We celebrated a birthday with 50 people here at Borgo del Cacchione and were very satisfied. The room reserved for us was very welcoming, the staff were extremely kind and attentive, and the dishes were exquisite (Roman specialties, meat, and excellent vegetarian options). Everything went perfectly thanks to the team's professionalism and their attention to detail.

The bread and their homemade focaccia are spectacular, especially the focaccia with aromatic herbs. Truly top-notch, we'll definitely be back...highly recommended! (We're restaurateurs.)

20/04/2026: I visited Taverna Mari in Grottaferrata and had a truly delightful experience. Four of us arrived without a reservation, even quite late at 3:00 PM, and yet we were greeted with great courtesy and helpfulness. A detail we truly appreciated. The restaurant is welcoming, with attention to detail. The staff was kind, helpful, and always attentive without being intrusive. The dishes were beautifully presented, prepared with quality ingredients, and had an authentic flavor. You could sense their passion for traditional cuisine and the attention to detail in every course. The quality-price ratio was also excellent, considering the level of service and cuisine. A place we'd love to return to and one I recommend to anyone who wants to eat well in the Castelli Romani area. Congratulations!

01/06/2026: In the heart of Grottaferrata, La Roncola has a cozy and welcoming interior, enhanced by this fire that warms and hypnotizes on the coldest days. We ate grilled meat and their very good and well-plated appetizers. My favorite was the spoon tartare with buffalo mozzarella. Must try.

03/02/2026: We ate yesterday at this truly special place. As soon as you walk in, you immediately sense its authenticity. It's like stepping back in time. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, the food is superb (the portions are equally superb), and the staff are friendly! It took us 40 minutes to get there, but it was worth it.

01/02/2026: I visited this restaurant with my wife, and what can I say? The good food and generous portions put it above average for castles. The restaurant has a very charming country-chic feel, although in my opinion, there are too many seats and it's quite cramped. The service is also quite attentive and friendly. From what I've written, some might wonder why it's given 3 stars. The reason is simple: I found the prices quite high for the quality of the food, but let's take things in order: The €4 cover charge per person, which includes table settings and service, would suggest something high-end, but the glasses and cutlery were dull. For that price, cutlery and glasses should shine. The food here is also quite high-priced. I have no complaints about the quality of the ingredients, but if you're charging €18 for a plate of tortelli, I expect them to be the right shape and not fall apart during cooking. We paid €91 for two appetizers, two first courses, and a dessert with a bottle of water. I think the bill is a bit overpriced. In my humble opinion, the correct bill would have been between 75 and 80 euros.

16/06/2026: We returned to this restaurant, which consistently serves excellent seafood. Among the hot appetizers, the fried cod with squid ink and the zucchini flowers stuffed with shrimp and lard on the outside were excellent. The first courses were delicious and plentiful, and the sea bass with mashed potatoes was excellent. Nice selection of wines. The price was reasonable for the quality.

09/12/2025: We chose the old village as the location for our wedding on October 25th. What can I say? We couldn't have made a better choice. The staff immediately proved to be highly knowledgeable and ready to fulfill our every wish. The location is truly breathtaking; as soon as we entered, we had no doubts: this was the perfect place for our big day. The food was exquisite, prepared freshly, and the staff on the day of the event saved our wedding, planning an aperitif and cake outside on a day with very unpredictable weather. I could spend hours listing all the positives we experienced in 10 months of preparation, but it wouldn't be enough. We sincerely hope that all our dearest friends choose the old village for their weddings, so that we can return and surely have another unforgettable and perfectly organized day. 08/06/2026: The place is simply magnificent, with a breathtaking view of Rome from the terrace. The dinner was excellent, with quality products at reasonable prices. Special mention goes to the staff, who were truly kind and attentive. I highly recommend it and will return when I have the chance.

05/01/2026: As for the evening of the 31st, we booked a table for 11 people, but when we arrived, the table was gone (because it had been given to another group). It's unacceptable that 11 people had to wait an hour to be seated (all paid for). Never again will we have a bad experience.

02/05/2026: We had lunch at Botte di Ferro today, and it was exactly what I expected: fantastic. The quality of the food is there and you can taste it (I only posted these photos because otherwise we were focused on enjoying the spaghetti with sea urchins, the fried calamari, and the sushi (there were eight of us, including two children, and everyone loved the food). The girl who served us was very nice and courteous, never intrusive. The location is nice and modern, and I really appreciated how clean it was. It's a well-kept place in every way. Unfortunately, we live far away (we're from Cagliari), but when we return to Rome, we'll happily return for lunch at Botte di Ferro!

07/05/2026: Casa Brunori is a nightmare... no expression could have better described this place. Terrible, superficial, and not at all typical cuisine.... 20 diners arrived on a Sunday in April and went home with gastroenteritis and colic... What more can I say!!!! Thank you Brunori... See you never again 🥵😢😱
