I had lunch at this restaurant by chance, but I must say I ate and drank wonderfully. The restaurant is located a few kilometers from Castel San Pietro Terme, nestled in the rolling hills, easy to reach. The place is clean, tidy, and meticulously cared for, even with an outdoor veranda full of flowers. The staff is kind and attentive, and they make you feel right at home. We had perfectly cooked veal tagliata, plentiful, and served ready to eat, seasoned with olive oil, rosemary, and coarse salt... tender and succulent!!! The grilled vegetables were equally delicious, and for dessert, a perfectly made crème brulee. We also got a coffee and a discount at the register, even though it was our first time there... we'll definitely be back, even though it's 80 kilometers from my home. Kudos to all the staff!!! Reservations recommended

Even in the bad weather the view was beautiful, the rooms were clean and that's no small thing, the restaurant was truly excellent, I hope to end up there again!!

A tidy and elegant osteria in a splendid location, with a breathtaking view. The menu isn't overly extensive but is substantial, offering everything you could ask for in traditional dishes. The cured meats are good, and the first and second courses are excellent. I would have ordered the whole menu, but I wasn't that hungry; I'll definitely be back to try the rest.

Nestled in the hills, with ample parking, excellent food and service. Indoor and outdoor seating available. Traditional cuisine and a family atmosphere. Highly recommended.

Here we are. The selection of starters and meats is extensive and always delicious. The arrosticini and fillet steaks are very good. Very friendly staff.

This is my first review; I don't like leaving opinions or ratings, but here I feel it's my duty. We dined on Valentine's Day, and there was a small mix-up during service, which can happen when three dining rooms are full. I was, however, impressed by how the staff resolved this issue promptly and courteously, and for that I feel it's the least I can say and compliment them. As for the rest, I can only confirm that the food is delicious, the Osteria conveys a sense of pleasant conviviality, and that every expectation was met with flying colors. But the main praise goes to the staff.

February 15, 2026 I was pleased with this place. From the center of Castel San Pietro, take Via Tanari, following signs for the motocross track. After 5 km, you'll reach an intersection with the restaurant on the right; turn left and then immediately left to access their parking lot. The staff is friendly and will advise and explain the various dishes. The chef and kitchen staff work well, changing the menu every three months to offer customers some great new options. The owners are very kind, even though I arrived early. In short, a quiet place and good food. Book and go, highly recommended. Luca

A lovely place on a hill just a few kilometers from Bologna. It's well-maintained, with knowledgeable and friendly staff. The rooms are spotless and comfortable. The restaurant offers a fairly extensive menu and very good food. The prices for both the restaurant and the rooms are excellent. I highly recommend it if you're passing through Castel San Pietro Terme.

11/04/2026: We had dinner last night at this restaurant in Bologna and had a positive experience. The food was the highlight: we chose traditional Bolognese dishes such as tortellini in broth, homemade fettuccine with ragù, cotoletta alla Bolognese, and platters of local cured meats. Everything was truly delicious; I particularly enjoyed the fettuccine, well-made and flavorful. The ricotta and spinach tortelloni with butter and sage were also excellent, although the choice of serving dish could be improved (a soup plate, not very appetizing). The pork loin cotoletta alla Bolognese was noteworthy, truly gigantic and perfect for sharing. The non-traditional options were also interesting, such as the spaghetti with raw red tuna tartare. The desserts were also good, including a noteworthy tiramisu. The atmosphere is modern and pleasant. The service was courteous and helpful, always attentive without being intrusive. Overall, an excellent experience that I recommend to anyone who wants to taste authentic Bolognese cuisine (and more) in an authentic setting.
11/04/2026: Really good, and they even have gentian! My husband says the tiramisu is delicious. Must try.
