Excellent value for money. Absolutely fresh and transparent fish preparation without any unnecessary frills. Free choice of seating, order at the counter (there is a menu selection in English). The fish required for preparation is taken from the display into a customer bowl and handed over to the kitchen, which is visible. You receive a pager, which must be placed on the designated tray on the table. This allows the staff to identify which table the food needs to be delivered to. Everything was delicious.

Superb sea bream and mixed skewers with generous side dishes, very friendly staff, fast service! Super-stocked fish counter. Highly recommended!

It seemed to be a nice place in town, but I was disappointed from the low variety of plates available. The fish crocetta was too wet inside, not properly cooked probably. Not too much fish inside, mainly bread🙄.
The prawn tartar was fresh, but unmarinated, not my style tho'. The atmosphere was quite nice and typical for the type of food offered.

If you like this type of place (fishmonger + restaurant), it's great 🔝🔝
Of course, you shouldn't expect a restaurant, but the quality of the fish is good, freshly cooked, and the staff are very kind and friendly. A wonderful experience in the center of Bologna.
PS: Don't underestimate the continuous opening hours on Sundays.

The second best place to eat fish (after Mercato delle Erbe). Delicious and light food, not heavy at all. Excellent quality ingredients. We tried the salad with tartar and the tartar with side salad. The salad with tartar was much better, as it comes with the tartar already dressed.
The decor is simple/impersonal, but the atmosphere is pleasant.

We've been regulars for years now. It's a simple, almost fast-food-like place with excellent food. I've never been disappointed by any dish on the menu. A special mention goes to the tuna burger, and the baked potatoes are among the best in town.
